I have been to Local Cantina many times, but primarily to the Hilliard location (which is great). My husband and I tried this location and we got ill after eating here. It always takes forever to get a drink from her bc she's always on her phone, talking to coworkers that are there drinking, drinking and just not paying attention. Sunday evening and decided to grab a drink and a bite locally, went to the local cantina on Bridge St in Dublin .. have been there a couple times for drinks and salsa !! Always a good idea, especially after work .. this time sat down for dinner with better half and we dug into the self serve salsa and chips bar (free)... planted to try and variety and different samples of their tacos so we went for it.. ordered Nashville Hot Chciken, Carnitas, Tempura Shrimp, Brisket and Seafood... as we were waiting for our tacos done in and ordered Mustache Rides, Local's house margarita !!! They are wonderful!! Tasty , just enough tequila to satisfy and margarita mixture is on point!!! They do sometimes add quite a bit of ice, however definitely recommend the MR.. food was a bit slow to come out ... no problem 2nd round of MR and we are having a blast sharing chips salsa and margaritas!!! Tacos come up, dive in takes a while to work thru all the tacos, sharing commenting and making foodie observations like true Yelpers.. I'll rank the tacos in order of my favorites: 1 Nashville Hot Chicken (just order it or 2 or 3, wont be sorry) 2. 2 stars had nothing to do with the 60 min wait. Was really disappointed when a party of 3 checked in and left. About an hour they showed up after spending time at nearby pins. They missed their name about 30 minutes ago. They told the seater that they went to Pins and got hungry. The seater sat then immediately and said no problem. We had our masks on ready to get some nachos my first time at a local cantina I was excited to try a quesadilla and some beefy queso. We were told we could not be served alcohol although we were completely sober one friend the life of the "party" I shall say and if you know her you know how much fun she is, had a punch or whatever at pins down the street. The way the waitress talked to her and treated us was just absolutely uncalled for. Literally so rude. We were forced to order, pay before receiving our food, take our food carry out and Kaylee wouldn't even come back to serve our table. Never in my life have I been so disrespected I will be sure everyone knows to never go to local cantina on in bridge park. What a terrible end to an amazing night. Wont ever be back. I have been to many of the Local Cantina locations in Columbus and this is the worst one by far. Servers and bartenders don't seem to want to be there. I have sat at both the bar and a table and have waited several minutes to get service. The last time I was there I left because I never got service. It's unfortunate because I love the restaurant and this location is by far my least favorite. read more

Was a seriously hot day, felt like ac wasn't working very well. Got seated, sat for a bit before anyone came to take drink orders, finally. She then came back and took food order, good thing as we didn't see her again until she brought drinks and food at the same time. We ate our food, it was fine. Waited again for her to reappear to get check, my husband flagged down another waitress to alert her we wanted our bill. Not much seating for larger parties. Ours is a family of 5 and it took over an hour to get in. I get it, it's busy... just wish they would hold the large tables for bigger parties during peak times. I think an average three star review is very generous. The waiter, "Sherlock Holmes" himself was able to uncover the fact that we were all using fake ID's! Except there was one small problem, all of us were 22 or older. They made us wait there, mocked us for having "good fakes" and when they threatened to call the cops, in which we begged them to! In their defense, they did call the cops, and by call the cops they asked a dude wearing a yeti hat at the bar if they looked fake. And this Paul Blart day-drinker decided three were "obviously" fake, and happily bent my friends card, who is 22! They never called the cops because they knew they were wrong. I know that because they proceeded to give us our IDs and kick us out of the restaurant because they "weren't having it". Next time you drink a modelo blanco at Local Cantina, pour one out for my terrible experience, then walk out and go to a restaurant that isn't run by absolute clowns. read more

Great location in the downtown Dublin, OH area. Place is always busy when I go but the waits aren't too bad. If I am looking to get tacos in the Dublin, OH area this is the place I go to. The the last time I went they had the jams cranked up. The food is good and same as the other Local Cantinas in the Columbus areas. One thing I like about this place is you can help yourself to as much chips and salsa as you want. I am a seafood guy so when I go I always get the Shrimp and Fish tacos whenever I go. The food was good. The service was really good. The restaurant itself is completely not wheelchair friendly. Not a single table inside the restaurant at all. Whoever designed the layout needs to realize that booths and high tops do not work for a wheelchair. Luckily the patio had tables. Of course there is so many out there I had to move all of them to even get a wheelchair through. I had to hold the door and try to move a chair out of the way as a server just stood there and never offered to help. Too bad we will not be back again. A group of us show up at various local cantinas around columbus. this one is just as great as the one at creekside in gahanna. i'm a vegetarian but love the fried avocado as well as the veggie tacos and the farmers market tacos. my omnivorous friends go for the crunchweezy tacos very often so i can't recommend them personally but i see them being ordered and consumed religiously. great atmosphere, almost always loud but it's a cantina, it's a part of the experience. read more

This is my 2nd time coming to this location and the first time was good, the bartender was nice and kept updating us on our food and communicating with us respectfully But tonight when I went with 3 friends we got sat down in a booth and a few minutes later after we got our drinks our waitress told us if we wanted chips we had to get it ourselves even though last time the bartender gave us a bowl right as we sat down and tonight the waitress was bringing bowls to everyone else besides us. After we ate, the waitress came up asking if we needed refills and a few of us said yeah but never brought anything back, when we got the checks (we asked for 1 per each person) she accidentally charged us drinks we never ordered so she had to change it and said she can take our cards while she was changing it and after waiting for a few minutes she comes back with our cards and 4 receipts and one of us got a notification on the phone with two charges and we compared receipts and noticed that two people paid for their own food and he got charged paying for himself and me and I ended up paying for my quesadilla and my friends shot even though we said we were all paying separately In all honesty I probably won't be coming back to that location again after that experience read more

Disappointing experience! The bar tending Staff were very disengaged on the customers. We literally needed to flag them down for EVERYTHING we needed. My friend described it as feeling invisible. She got the attention of one of the girls to ask for another drink but she didn't check on my status and took off to quick for me to say something. The bar tender seemed very perturbed when she came back with the drink and I asked for one. The food and drinks were good. This was my first time at the Dublin location and I won't be back. There are too many other places to choose from at Bridge Park to eat/drink at. My son and I stopped here for a late lunch on a Saturday. Seat yourself in this loud and friendly bar/restaurant. Salsa and chips are self-serve and very tasty. Staff were quick to bring menus and take our drink order. I did not sample any of the margaritas due to the hour we were there, but we each ordered tacos. I had a fish taco and a baja shrimp taco. My son had the asada tacos. The asada tacos were very sour and we did not care for them. The baja shrimp were a bit dry and a little bland, but the table salsas jazzed them up. The fish tacos were excellent. We will come back to try the chimichangas and margaritas. Love the location. It's hard to remember you aren't downtown columbus. Food tastes worse than it looks and the service not much better! Guacamole tasted very acidy and did not look fresh. Waitress explained that it was the pico de gallo that is mixed in and that this is how guacamole is made. We were later served the quesadillas, they came with pico de gallo. The pico de gallo was so old that it had a pungent acid smell and a very grainy tomato texture. We told the waitress, the Manager arrived with an attitude and immediately argued that the pico is made to order so it's impossible that it is not fresh. He then announced that maybe this place is not for us. He said that Local Cantina was more of a Hipster Bar than a Restaurant. Apparently, we were not dressed appropriately for this place since we were missing the food stained sweatshirts that most of the staff are sporting. The manager Jason was pretty nasty to us and unhelpful when trying to seat us to accommodate covid regulations, but thankfully the bartender Craig took care of everything and was a blast all night.
