We waited over an hour for her to take our order & we had to constantly ask where she was so she could serve us. Wait for a table was pretty bad, probably waited near an hour. It's a weird system, there is no host at the front really, you write your name down in the cramped waiting area, on a clipboard, with # people and table preference. Then you just wait, nobody says how long is estimated waiting. And you have to stick around until they call your name. They don't really go in order because if someone takes first available or if there is a table for 2 those people will get it first even if you have been waiting more than 30 minutes. I understand obviously some tables are only made for 2 but it really wasn't clear the way they were seating, and someone occasionally came up to the clipboard and crossed out names or moved them around. Then the food, it is decent. We enjoyed it but honestly the place is extremely overpriced. The drinks were good but still overpriced. I mean for 3 small tacos, 1 burrito, 1 drink and 1 appetizer/cheese dip I think we spent over 40 dollars. Probably wouldn't try again. You can get decent mexican food and drinks at cheaper price elsewhere. read more

My experience was not so great here. I sat outside which was nice in a beautiful day. They have a great beer selection. The waitress took my drink order right away but then forgot about me. After about 15 min the manager noticed and brought me my beer. The food took a while too and was just okay. My tacos tasted pretty good but were cold as was my side of corn. I came to eat here on Taco Tuesday, and it was packed (wall to wall) but it was so worth it. I was by myself for a work trip, and I still received amazing service at the bar, struck up friendly conversation with the people around me, and had one of the best margaritas of my life. Oh, and the tacos were really good too. I ordered three tacos; grilled chicken, roasted carnitas, and carne asada. I highly recommend the grilled chicken and carnitas tacos, but the carne asada wasn't the best. That being said one of the best margaritas of all time, two amazing tacos AND my bill was only fifteen dollars. I'll take that any day. read more

I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened. I have always loved the service and food. Tonight, amber sealed the deal that I will never eat at this restaurant if she is there. I understand covid restrictions and will always be respectful of that which I clearly explained to her. She came over and very rudely explained that we grabbed chairs from a table that wasnt ours. We complied and said that we had no problem standing. Afterwards, she sent her "boss" with a dark beard out to us to say that we couldn't stand in the corner anymore due to covid restrictions. When I asked why that mattered when he wasn't wearing a mask he said that he had his vaccine. I said I had mine and he said it didn't matter and they make their own rules. We had to leave. When leaving, dude with beard told me to "ENJOY SPENDING DADDYS MONEY". It seems to me that amber sent her "boss", which I believe is just an employee, over to kick us out because she was uncomfortable because we were talking to Craig after she talked to us. Craig has been a friend and the number one bartender in dublin for six years and I was simply catching up with him. Severely disappointing and I am surprised local employs people with such poor hospitality skills. read more

Local cantina experiences are wildly hit or miss, and this is exacerbated greatly by the location. I actually live in bridgepark. I live so close to this location I can go out my condo doorway, go do a few flights of exit stairs, make a left and I am there. I am also a great lover of tacos, margaritas, tequila, and Mexican beer. But I avoid this location like the plague. The bartenders are all rude and during the week spend more time paying attention to their friends. So much so that they even will turn off music that a patron has bought on the TouchTunes jukebox AND GIVE THEIR FRIENDS THE REMOTE to play whatever they like. This has happened to me now three times. The last time I spoke up as I had just dumped $20 of music in the juke box and her friends didn't like it. I've had hair in tacos and guacamole, staff not giving a car about it. It's just a bad vibe for somewhere I had wanted to eat weekly. No I walk the the .7 miles around trip to condado and can't wait for the pedestrian bridge to be finished. read more

The place is very casual with reduced service (eg self-seating and self-serve chips and salsa). The overall experience is reasonably decent if you come with no expectations for a beer or a drink, but the food itself is somewhat blend. You can compensate for the lack of flavor by using various hot sauces they provide. Unlikely to come back. read more

Here's the good, the bad, and the ugly: It's Saturday afternoon around 3:30, so there is not much of a crowd; we were promptly seated. That's the good. Our server arrived--not a very personable type--and took our drink orders. We only ordered two rounds because the bar service is so slow. I didn't think the second round would ever arrive and of course no apologies for the super slow service. When it was time to order, the server seemed bothered by having to answer our questions and was really vague with her answers. I ordered a fish taco--which was good, but nothing special. A corn tortillas with a small piece of fried fish and maybe a tablespoon full of the jalapeño slaw. I also ordered the Mexican corn, which was just mediocre. I asked the waitress to remove the corn fitters appetizer I had ordered from my bill (after just one small bite) because it was tasteless and super greasy. She was unapologetic and seemed bothered to have to ask the manager to remove it. No apology or offers to bring something else. We had asked for limes for the Bloody Mary cocktails and some butter for the corn, both of which never made it to the table. Our water glasses were never refilled and she was nowhere in site to flag her down and ask. Y'all know how important water is at a Mexican place where you're gobbling down chips and salsa. The most annoying part of the visit was when she delivered the bills, they were all wrong. She had two items I hadn't ordered on mine and said she thought we could just figure it out! I asked her to please just remove the items from my bill, as did the others at our table. When she returned, they were still incorrect. Again, it was like, "yeah, I have her drink on your bill." Again, I asked if she could just bring me a corrected bill. Remember--they were not busy. It wasn't during a regular meal hour. I don't know what her problem was. Perhaps she was new. Regardless, all we really wanted was a correct bill. There are too many great Mexican places around ( Habaneros, Chuys, Los Guacho's... I could go on and on, but you get the idea.) to have to settle for mediocre. Live and learn, I suppose. read more

I've been here a few times and the food and service have always been great! I recommend the quesadilla with brisket! So good! The margaritas are good as well, but can get a little pricy. The self serve chips are a huge bonus. Truly terrible service. The restaurant had patrons, but it wasn't overly busy. We waited ten minutes for someone to "clean the table," which apparently means starting to clean it, and, then, disappearing for ten minutes until he saw us still very impatiently waiting by the the door. Once someone finally sat us at the table, we waited another five minutes to order water, which took another five minutes to actually come out. The waitress said she would be "right back," and, then, proceeded to serve literally every other table around us. After another ten minutes of waiting, we decided to just give up...but not before the guy who cleaned our table proceed to spill a dirty bucket of salsa on us and another patron. Not surprisingly, he never came back to clean it up. When we got up to leave, the waitress just waved goodbye; completely oblivious to the fact that we were leaving because we'd basically been ignored the entire time we were there. We had very bad service. Our Waitress seemed like she was bothered to have to serve us. People who came in after us had their food and left before we received our food, different Waitress. My taco had been sitting so long it was mushy and fell apart. Manager didn't seem to care but did get me another. Refill on our drinks didn't happen until we asked. Comparing this to cap city that's almost 3 times as slow! Our server didn't check on us and barely talked to us when at our table. Came for the first time with a party of 8 on a Thursday night. It's small but turnover is pretty quick. They don't take reservations. The hostess seated us right away (while we waited for the rest of our party who hadn't arrived yet) and then was awesome about securing us a larger area. Prices are great. My friends ordered margaritas and I got a mojito (perfect!) we all loved our various meals. I liked that you can order one kind of taco at a time. Street corn and guacamole are delish! Great tacos, fun atmosphere and nice happy hour drink prices. I had the cantina food truck tacos and my wife had the americano (ground beef) tacos. Both were nicely stuffed and came out quickly despite the crowd. Sides were pretty good but not outstanding. Overall a fun experience. We will be back. read more
