Clean, but they need more waitstaff as the service was slow. We stopped in for breakfast, and found the best deal ever. They have an all-you-can-eat egg, meat, hash browns, and toast with 2 drinks included for $9.99. It sounds high until you realize that drinks also include beer, mimosas, and bloody marys. My husband and I both had a bloody mary and a cup of coffee. They serve Coffeemate creamer - I wish they'd serve real cream or milk. The breakfast food was perfectly prepared. Not a lot of atmosphere but truly the best breakfast in east Mesa. You're all you can eat breakfast comes with two bloody Mary's. I don't recommend the bloody Mary's. If you ask you can substitute something else. I'm hoping they get the clue that their Bloody Mary mix sucks as everyone I've ever gone there with feels the same way but the Bloody Mary bar is great. read more

What the Hell Bar & Grill 7303 e. Main St. Mesa, AZ 85207 Hello, My name is Jay Beaird I'm 57 years old I have lived in Mesa over 25 years. Oh yes I have Parkinson disease. On Tuesday, April 18, 2017 I had the opportunity to call on your establishment for a cool drink and something to eat. I was having my car looked at Pep Boys which is about half a mile from where you are ( I walked to your bar and grill ). As I got closer to the restaurant I noticed there was a patio with four customers and one bartender. there was a little white gate letting into the patio I got to the gate it was partially open. I asked if it was OK to come in this way. Everybody just looked at me, but no response. So I asked again and your bartender manager said yes I can come in that way. It was hot that day so I decided to go inside the building and eat there. Your waitress / bartender followed me into the dining room then I turned and told her I would have something cold to drink and a sandwich but first I need to use the restroom. She told me that I'm welcome to use the restroom but then I have to go since she was refusing service to me. I said excuse me to which she followed up that they reserve the right to deny service to anyone. Again, I asked her why she was making this decision. She said, " I dont have to tell you, you may use the restroom and then you can go". Then at that moment with her next statement she said or me to take my funny little moves with me. I realize she was talking about dyskinesia associated with Parkinson's. Also, when she said "take my moves" she made body motions that looked like a cross between Michael Jackson and King Louis the orangutan from jungle book. I'm trying to ask her if she knew what dyskinesia is she just said get out of my bar. I was humiliated and I started to leave. On my way out I heard the two female patrons ask her what did she say to me. She said get out of my bar. I'm sorry I did not get the employees name she was the only person working in the building that I could see. So in conclusion, not only did she make fun of me but she shared that with other patrons. she's Bad business. I hope your other employees don't follow the same path. read more

My first time visit was last weekend where we met a group of friends. I found the atmosphere to be very accommodating and friendly. I didn't order food, but the people at my table seemed to enjoy their meals. Our server was calm and sweet even as the night grew busier. He was prompt and displayed a great attitude when dealing with the varying personalities of the customers. The band was rockin and the crowd was having a blast!! Last night we visited "What the Hell" bar and grill. They were having a customer appreciation night, and the place was absolutely bonkers busy. I don't believe that management properly staffed this event there had to be at least four to five hundred people at this very small bar in East Mesa. We had almost decided to go to another establishment for the evening because we really wanted to just have fun with our friends. But our server Kelly made it worth our while to stay. at first we thought that it was going to be terrible service because she had a hard time getting over to us but she apologized for how busy the place was and really made a very strong effort to make sure that we were taken care of. It was very clear that she was working very hard, she was friendly pleasant and we did not suffer in our quality of service. Later that evening we learned that Kelly had worked 13 hours that day, she didn't complain about it at all it was somebody else that told us that she had been there so long. I think it's pretty impressive that the food was delicious and we got our drinks as fast as we did and she had been there as long as she was. Thank you for such a great night Kelly! read more

I've been going to WTH Bar for about 2 years, probably almost every week. The food is great, service usually pretty good. You've had some good entertainment there, I liked Harry Luge, had a real good piano player etc. However, last evening, Oct. 12th Sat., I went in to meet a buddy, that entertainment, if you want to call it that, was terrible! 1st of all, it was so, so, so loud, my buddy & I had to have our lips on each another's ear, & then couldn't hardly hear each another talk. It was nothing but a display of EXTREME HIGH DECIBEL OBNOXIOUS TRASH. The person who, I guess was suppose to be singing sounded like someone yelling next to an air hammer. No normal human being could make out any word he was suppose to be singing. Fact is:: I left there without eating my meal,--I paid for it--but couldn't not even stand that trash another minute. Oh, I'll go back, as I do like the place, but I'm in the future going to ck on who the entertainment is... cause that experience was terrible!, terrible!, terrible!!!! read more

I have eaten at that bar for over a year now, couple times a week and usually set at the bar and drink a beer and talk to the bartender I think his name is Woody. Eating in the restaurant, in a few experiences and at the bar, I've had this one particular server/bartender that's rude, make snide remark's, and you never get your food on time, she never refilled water, it's like the worst service, and is we're I think some of these reviews I believe are coming from. Every other employee has been great. Tonight I went in there order the burger special, after Finishing my beer, I decided I wanted to get something to eat. I ordered the special burger for tonight but substituted the cheese for Swiss and eliminated the jalapeños. The woman working behind the bar which I found out was also a bartender, made some snide remark about how I ordered and Amorello burger or something, she wasn't even involved in my order. why is she even there? I just heard her make a snide remark, and she's done this before to me as the server when I was there with friends out eating dinner. So after 30 minutes of not getting a burger, and finishing my second beer, and a water, I told the bartender just to cancel it, not knowing what was going on with it. He was checking and it wasn't ready, so when the female bartender / liquor stocker behind the bar heard me say that, she made a comment oh he's canceling his armadillo burger. I left, I don't know why this employee is in a customer service customer facing position, I did mentioned this to the bartender, and he said he's heard it all, so obviously the owners don't want to do anything about it. Now Thinking about it what did she tell the kitchen to do to my order? I left a message to call me, never heard anything. I have visited in the past and if she is behind the bar I walk out. You shouldn't have to pay these days to be at a restaurant and put up with a rudeserver/ bartenders. read more

usually a good atmosphere but headed in there tonight after wok and got THE WORST customer service EVER!! I was actually floored at how rude the "bartender" was... I asked for a pineapple upside -cake drink and wowwie!! When I asked her to make it with just cake vodka and pineapple juice, splash of grenadine, she felt the need to tell me making it the way she wants to make it, after being completely blown away at how rude she was,calmly I said" wow, why are you being so mean over me asking you to make a drink?" She then replied, mockingly,"'yea,wow..you are mean by telling me how to do my job and you see that sign bitch? (pointing at the right to refuse anyone sign) just keep talking"...
