Movers are one of those things where you can either get a companies best employees or their worst. But it's not really a reflection of the company. I got one skilled mover and one that seems to have trouble figuring out how to move a dolly up and down a truck ramp. The communication with the phone coordinator was great for scheduling the week of. You have to make a deposit online, cash discount. My movers charged me correctly for the time, but it could've probably been done in an hour less with more efficient movers. Problem with the industry in itself is that movers are paid by the hour instead of the job itself. I do recommend this company, but these aren't the best movers I've used. read more

Moved out of a 1200 square foot, 2 bed, 2 bath two story townhouse into a home in another part of Orange County. We did a move where we paid the crew hourly. The job took about 6 hours with 1 hour total of driving Was very easy to get a information through the yelp function, followed by finalizing the reservation through the phone with Courtney. They had great prices, good availability, transparent structure. Don't forget to mention the yelp discount when you finalize your recommendation. We got 3 movers and paid double drive time as mandated by regulation. No gas surcharge, no limited amount of clear shrink wrap. About half the companies that I called had gas surcharge and some have you only 2 to 4 rolls of wrap. I think we used 4-5 rolls. Got email confirmation, phone confirmation 3 days ahead and then 45 minutes before arrival the moving team arrived. Jack and team arrived within the specified window promised. When the team arrives, you do walk through and then paperwork. Then Jack, Arthur and Roman loaded all of our boxes, followed by wrapping up our furniture in plastic wrap and blankets. They took apart furniture and put our really large tv back into the box for optimal safety in transport. The 3 movers were extremely efficient, they kept on moving the entire time and took care in moving our items to make sure that nothing broke or scuffed up walls. Appreciated their diligence in the moving and packing process. To help with their efficiency, they loaded smaller items into large wardrobe boxes so they could being them down the stairs and into the truck faster. They don't waste trips carrying little things. When they arrived with our stuff, we had the ability to point where we wanted things placed in the house. Would highly recommend them for your next move! read more

I had a positive experience with Local N Long Distance Movers. Shoutout to Karen and his team for providing us with an easy and stress free move out. We had a decent amount of furniture for a 1 bedroom that we were moving out: a king bed and mattress, dresser, 2 night stands, 50" TV, 65" TV, sectional sofa, a computer desk & chair, a small storage closet, and a large refrigerator. They carefully packaged everything well, taking their time with the packaging so they didn't damage anything while still moving quickly to not waste time as of course we are paying them by the hour. We had a unique move out, we were moving the majority of furniture to one location while moving the minority to an additional location, they were able to accommodate the multiple delivery locations with no issues thankfully. Overall, I had a great experience with them. While not cheap, they are honest with the pricing up front with no hidden fees so you know what you are expecting before booking them as movers. I would definitely do it again if I had to move again with a lot of large furniture. These are HANDS DOWN some of the best, most courteous and efficient movers I have used yet in Orange County. During the pandemic my daughter moved back in with us and we decided to store her goods in Costa Mesa if she decided to return one day. Unfortunately, a month ago the storage space rent doubled and it was time to move them up north to Monterey County, closer to home, to a much cheaper space. After getting a few quotes and speaking with some of the other movers, I decided that LNL Movers was the best option for price (quite reasonable for an in state long distance move) and for communication. Courtney was an excellent customer service rep, very clear on the phone and in emails, with timely reminders and contracts easy to read and complete online. In addition to arranging pick up at the storage space she also facilitated one stop prior to that in order to pick up an extra piece of furniture in Mission Viejo which I really appreciated! The crew arrived, headed by Mike (Misha) and his helpers Andrew and Sam, picked up the one piece of furniture and then met me in Costa Mesa. They moved a 10x20 storage space of furniture and boxed items within two hours into a good sized Penske packing everything securely. They also helped put some boxes of fragile items into my car. All three were fantastic and easy to communicate with, careful with all the boxes and furnishings. A couple of days later Mike drove to Monterey County, meeting me at an agreed upon time. All the items were still secure and undamaged. He and his partner Alex placed all the goods into the new storage space as well as some for me to transport home into a cargo van I rented. All the while they were both so pleasant and organized the items into the new storage space so that we could easily go through them later and decide what to throw out/donate. They arrived here at noon and were done by 1:30! I never thought it would be such a breeze to go through this entire process alone and it is such a relief that it all went like clockwork. Before moving day, there was a lot of transparency for the services they would provide, which ranged from bringing spare boxes (e.g., for TV, wardrobe, etc.) and protective equipment (e.g., blankets, floor protection, etc.) to what would be not charged (e.g., no extra charge for floors). They were also very prompt with communication e.g., for when they would arrive. On moving day, Karen and his team helped to pack and load a lot of the items around the old residence, and to disassemble/reassemble a very large desk. His team was very careful in making sure that all of our bookshelves, cabinets, and other heavy furniture were not damaged or scratched by wrapping everything with blankets and a lot of tape.
