The roasted vegetables were excellent. We were not happy with the Short rib with mashed potatoes. The Short rib was dry and lacked flavor. It tasted like overcooked pot roast. Mashed potatoes were not much better. (2 1/2 stars at best). A very nice venue/restaurant both inside and out. Great location. Our server was just okay. She seemed to be just "going through the motions" and was not very engaging. (3 Stars). I think that the Twisted Willow is probably a good restaurant with quality food. Perhaps we just came in on a bad night for Short Rib and engaging service. We will most likely give them another try.

Andrea was clearly more concerned about chumming with the regulars at the bar than first-time customers. we waited until 8:50 for our food. really- it was as if they had to fire up the fryer all over again for the evening. at the end of our meal, she brought out our check on one ticket. we asked for separate. She was clearly not happy about that. she made a comment that none of us could do "simple math". And also mumbled as she left the table that " she did ask us before we ordered if we wanted separate checks". --She did not, but somehow the waitress is correct and the customer is insulted. the exact same "check" came back to the table with each order circled and a number placed next to it 1-7. There are numerous other comments and incidents from this experience that I have not included to keep this brief. I'm sure Andrea is a great person and a capable waitress when she wants to be.
