Rueben was the best this side of the Mississippi you've got to try it! Friendly service ...great drinks.... The sweet potato wedges were out of this world and the Hand cut fries were also delicious! It took a homemade piece of chocolate peanut butter cheesecake home.... it looks so good, but we took from all the other yumminess! The way they serve their tap. Beer is unique and fun and what topped it for me is how well the staff took care of one of the customers with special needs!!

Great food with a great view (just off the water) and a great vibe. Highly recommend asking about specials (especially the dessert specials which are often a unique cheesecake offering). Everything we've tried here is delicious, with many unique twists on classics.

My partner and I went on a day trip to Port Washington this weekend and stopped in Fork & Tap on a whim, and I'm so glad we did. We had a wonderful experience. As someone who doesn't drink much, I was very pleased to see a large mocktail menu. I went with the Peach No-Jito and it was delicious and loaded with mint (just how I like it). However, the glass wasn't very large and at $8, it seemed just slightly overpriced. I went with Grandma's Mac N' Cheese for an entrée and it was the perfect combination of silky cheese sauce with gooey melted cheese on top. The breadcrumbs added the perfect amount of toasty crunch to an otherwise melty, cheesy affair. My partner ordered the Thai Chicken Sandwich and reported that it was super yummy. The chicken itself was definitely Asian-inspired with just a hint of spice to liven things up. It was loaded with filling, but despite the skewer holding it together, promptly fell apart as he lifted it to take a bite. The sandwiches appear to be best consumed with a fork and knife. The fries though...I already want to go back just for those thin, crispy, potatoey delights. They were well seasoned and cooked to a perfect golden brown -- the hard-to-achieve crispiness right between too soft and too crunchy. Our server was great and the view from the patio was pleasant. Though we mostly looked out onto a busy parking lot, the marina just beyond it provided a nice backdrop. Next time I'm in Port Washington, I hope to stop by Fork & Tap again.

I have been to Fork & Tap a few times and have had great meals every time. I got the Alpine Valley which is similar to a traditional chicken salad. The bread is nontraditional, but really good! My friends enjoyed the Srg Peppers, and the OG. We opted to add fries and a dipping sauce to our orders, not fully realizing it was all an extra charge. Kind of penny pinching but the flavor was good. We did get the balsamic Brussels sprouts and this was the only thing we didn't love. They weren't crispy and just very saturated with the balsamic vinegar. Would definitely skip this in the future.

It's very walkable from Port Washington, food is tasty. The service was really good and no wait time. Ambience has good vibes.

Went on a weekend afternoon, sat at the bar, and had excellent service. The place has a great view, and the menu is mostly different variations of chicken or beef with fun toppings. I could probably eat a plate on my own, but splitting one worked great as an app for two of us. There were multiple families with infants/small children when we got there, but it wasn't noisy at all, so it seems like a good place to meet with a bigger group.

I love this restaurant. Service was great. Stepped out and tried something different tonight and it was great. The sauce and the pickled onions were fantastic. Love sitting outside on the patio watching the boats. The Friday fish fry is fantastic too! Great place!

I have mixed thoughts on Fork & Tap. The food is flavorful. We have enjoyed their fried mozzarella whips - reminiscent of a savory funnel cake (and named Wi Funnel cake). We have tried various chicken sandwiches and even the fish fry. While the items we have tried were tasty, they seemed priced a bit high. A side of fries or Brussel sprouts with your sandwich is an additional charge. On my fish fry, the tarter sauce was about one tablespoon- I asked for more, not realizing I'd be charged $1 for another tablespoon! It was a good sauce - reminded me of a tzatziki sauce. However, had I known the extra cost, I would have probably skipped the extra sauce. Staff is friendly, dog- friendly patio looking out at marina and lake is nice. They even have a menu of complimentary items for your pooch while you dine. I just wish the prices were more appropriate.

Great patio overlooking the marina. We shared several appetizers and enjoyed the nice weather. I also appreciated they had several unique mocktails.

This was my first time here. I was greeted and seated immediately. The restaurant seemed busy, but there was plenty of seating. I had our seven month old pup (Chloe) with me, so we sat on the patio. To say this place is dog friendly is an understatement! They brought her a bowl of ice water, and they have their own dog menu. Chloe had a cup of pulled chicken. I had the Ruben Fries as an appetizer and the Spicy Jack as an entrée. This was way too much food; the portions are huge. Both were fantastic and I'd order them again. Our server was Jen, she was very friendly and attentive. The prices were also very reasonable. I will be back, with my family next time! Thank you Fork & Tap!

I ordered the German Kasespatzle, their main vegetarian offering, $20.00 - Hand Made Spaetzle, Caramelized Onion, Roasted Carrot, and Mushrooms with Mozzarella and Gruyere Cheese. We got Bernie's Bacon on the side for $4 for my mom to eat with her half. She ordered the crab cake special, which we also shared, which was as the server promised, no filler. Overall, this was a nice meal and tasty. The Spaetzle was rich and luxurious, very much like my grandma used to make. The roasted carrot was a new addition for me, but not a bad one. The crab cakes were very good, but basically came with a bunch of shredded plain lettuce and nothing else. I'm glad we visited and I would come again if I was in town, but this is definitely a place that favors a meat eater.

Set inside a historic bed and breakfast, The Five20 Social Stop is like something you'd see in a Hallmark movie set in a sweet little town. So welcoming and inviting, we were immediately comfortable. The room is small with vintage rock/stone walls. The antique bar fits the room perfectly. Warm lighting with whimsical decor, the whole vibe is reminiscent of an antique lodge. There were just a few people enjoying the live music - a duo singing classic tunes. They sounded fantastic! Given we are in the middle of a pandemic I was surprised they offered live music and relieved everyone was spaced out. It was my friend's birthday so they sang Happy Birthday along with everyone in the entire pub! I later found out that the singer was one of the owners. The woman at the table across the way was his wife and was the other owner. This husband and wife duo could not have been more gracious and hospitable. I noticed that there was an air purifier right next to our table which made me feel a little better. I wasn't sure I wanted to socialize quite as much as we were doing, but it was my friend's birthday so we kept our masks on and enjoyed a few songs before we headed out. Once the crazy virus gets under control, I would love to come back and stay at this dear little bed and breakfast situated in the heart of downtown on their main street. It would be perfect for a romantic get away, a girlfriend's weekend or a family vacation. I plan on enjoying their authentic little pub every night that I'm there. I recently had dinner at KC's with my father, and after thinking about my first experience there, I…read morerealized I may have been a little too hard on the restaurant in my initial review. I allowed one or two things that weren't necessarily to my personal taste to weigh too heavily on my overall impression--especially when I hadn't really given myself the opportunity to explore much of their menu. So, rather than writing KC's off, I'm actually excited to go back! This was my first visit and my dad's second. He had already spoken very highly of KC's and encouraged me to give it a try. My father and I share a love of good food, but like anyone else, we have our own individual tastes and preferences. Part of the fun of trying a new restaurant is discovering what works for you--and sometimes that takes more than one visit. First, KC's deserves a lot of credit for its atmosphere. I found it extremely welcoming and comfortable, with décor that blends a classic feel with a more modern touch. We chose a booth inside, and the seating was very comfortable. They also have a really nice outdoor dining area. Personally, the one thing that would keep me from choosing the patio is that smoking is allowed outside. That's simply a preference of mine. When I eat outdoors, I really enjoy the fresh air and would rather not have cigarette smoke nearby. I'd love to see KC's reconsider that policy someday, but I also understand that restaurants have to make decisions based on what works for their establishment and customers. It wasn't overly busy during our visit, and we were greeted and seated quickly. Our server, who was also tending the bar, was friendly, welcoming, and took good care of us. Now, about my burger--and this is where I have to own my mistake! I ordered the mushroom and Swiss burger knowing full well that I'm not particularly fond of cremini mushrooms. I decided I was going to give them another chance, and, well... apparently my taste buds haven't changed their minds! That isn't KC's fault. I ordered something containing an ingredient I already knew wasn't really for me. What I absolutely appreciated was that KC's uses quality, fresh hamburger rather than frozen patties. That makes a difference. For my own taste, I might go a little lighter on the seasoning, but again, that comes down to personal preference. I also sampled several tacos, and this is where things got interesting! The Ch-Ching Chicken Taco was fantastic. That one was easily a winner for me. It was flavorful, delicious, and I absolutely loved the sweet Thai chili sauce. I will DEFINITELY be ordering those again. I also tried the Alta Fish Taco, which I thought was good, although it had a little more heat than my taste buds are accustomed to. The Steak Fajita Taco was good as well, but once again had a bit of a kick for me. Someone who enjoys spicier food may absolutely love them. My dad ordered the veggie burger, which he had been raving about before we even arrived. It lived up to his expectations, and he loved it. He also tried the Brusslin Taco and really enjoyed that as well. At the end of the day, my father and I had a genuinely nice evening together at KC's. Looking back, I don't think it was entirely fair for me to let one burger that didn't suit my personal tastes influence my opinion of an entire restaurant--especially when there were other things I tried that I really enjoyed. Restaurants have menus for a reason: not everything is going to appeal to everyone, and sometimes you simply have to find your dish. That's why I'm looking forward to giving KC's another visit and exploring more of the menu. I already have my eye on the Rodeo Burger for next time! And those Ch-Ching Chicken Tacos? Oh, I'm definitely coming back for more of those.
