The sandwiches are spectacular! Italian sausage was the most flavorful sandwich I had had in years until I had the French dip. My girlfriend has now made my sheet list. Ate the last bite off her dip. We are now at spit eating levels for me! All because of this French dip that I can't even remember the name of. ( telli dip). Greek salad was also great. This is a cute little pizza shop. The vibe is super chill. Customer service: TOP NOTCH. I have been here a total of two times and both times I was super impressed with the service. The first time a lady served us, and she was extremely patient, kind, and sweet. She answered all of our questions and didn't appear annoyed. The second time we had a young man serve us. He was AMAZING and very attentive. He did a fantastic job of checking in on us numerous times, being super amicable, and had a great attitude the entire time. Price: The pizza is pretty pricey when compared to other pizza joints. If you want to create your pizza, it can really add up. If you select a premade pizza and customize/substitute ingredients, then there are upcharges. There are also upcharges here and there with other entrees, so make sure you ask about that when ordering. In the grand scheme of things, the 17-inch pizza is huge and can feed a family of 4, so if you don't make any changes to it, $25 (the most expensive pizza) may not seem too bad. The single slice is a pretty good deal because it is a HUGE slice and can feed one person. If you don't add too many toppings on it or care about getting a salad, then it's a good deal and is better than the lunch special single slice. The pasta entrees are huge and comes with sides, which to me is a pretty good deal! Taste: Fried cheese - Very good and cheesy! It's definitely any kid's favorite. Toasted ravioli - I enjoyed this a lot. I liked this more than the fried cheese. I highly recommend this! Chicken parmigiana - This was pretty good. The portion is great and can easily serve two people. Pizza - The pizza is okay to me. Toppings are fresh, but nothing stood out. The crust is super thin but doesn't taste like a crispy chip. Chalk board says they have Manicotti which is one of Mr. Picky's favorites, and not all Italian restaurants have it. When we see it, he usually orders it. Walking in here was a really nice experience because the place has a good energy about it. It's not fancy, but one of the owners and our waitress called out a big welcome as we entered. We ordered pizza slices as an appetizer while we made up our minds on entrée selection. I had the Chicken Parmigiana and he had Manicotti, and we had housemade blue cheese on the accompanying side salads. When it came to the side spaghetti I couldn't make up my mind between Alfredo and housemade Italian red sauce, so told them to mix both up for me with a resulting delicious pink sauce. They make the dessert Tiramisu themselves and it wasn't bad, but it did need a bit more coffee flavor; Mr. Picky liked it but I thought it was somewhat average. The winner of the meal that we will return for was the MarghaTelli pizza. It looks like any other pizza, but then you bite into it and get juicy hot tomato, melted cheese and garlic. I will start with the same thing almost every review says, service was amazing! Super friendly. And it was a busy night, and we sat outside in the patio. Started with salads and had the Popeye's last supper and it was great! Wife and son had a good Caesar salad. Ok the pizza: First I am east coast transplant and very picky with pizza. We got two one margaritas with meatballs and one cheese pizza. The The margarita has nice fresh tomatoes and lots of basil and tasted very fresh. Lots of cheese on the cheese pizza and decent cheese. Unfortunately the crust left something to be desired. It was very thin.... But I am assuming they use a pizza sheeted or dough press. I was hoping for hand tossed. I found the food to be delicious, freshly made and above average. The large salads were very filling and the pizza had a nice thickness and ample toppings. They were able to accommodate a half and half pizza so that was nice. The zingers are boneless chicken tenders - I wish they had more than two flavors (buffalo and BBQ). I give the food a 4 star. The service is what gave this restaurant a 5 star rating for me. Despite being very busy they were very accommodating and communicated often as we were a large party trying to find a table on a very busy night. We've even had to do some unique splitting of the bill and they were very cooperative and helpful. The manager came and introduced himself to us so we really appreciated their level of service despite being very busy on a Wednesday night. The parking lot can be full as it shares it in a strip mall with other retail shops so you might have to park a little bit further away than the front of entrance The facility has a very large patio for outdoor dining although we were eating in January so it wasn't necessarily outdoor eating weather. The facilities are clean on the inside and outside. I would highly recommend this location and plan on coming back. read more

Locatelli's is hands down my favorite place for gluten-free pizza in the Cypress area--the best, without question! Their gluten-free crust is absolutely delicious. We usually order the Suffatelli, which is similar to a "supreme," and it never disappoints. The meat is cooked to perfection, and the mozzarella has that perfect, stretchy, melty goodness. My husband loves the "3 Balls No Strike" meatballs. While I don't see a gluten-free designation on them (so I assume they contain flour), he enjoys them so much that he orders them every time. We often get our food to go because it reheats beautifully. Since the restaurant is in a strip center with a typical pizza place setup, we don't feel like we're missing out on much ambiance by enjoying it at home. It used to be so easy to order a specialty Pizza for pick up from this place. I was a regular customer, so they even had my order history, and I could select any previous order and get the same exact thing again. I used to mainly get a Hawaiiatelli with extra pineapple and Canadian bacon. Now you have to build it yourself. What a pain. The pizza is still on their in-store menu if you go there, but not on their online menu. Maybe they just want people to wait in the store, so they drink a beer or something while waiting. Having lived in New York City, I really love a GOOD slice of pizza and this place really hits the spot! Popeye's last Supper salad is so delicious and I love getting to add my own toppings onto just a slice of pizza (since it's really 2 slices!) service is always great here and vibes are equally as great. Service was fast and friendly and the restaurant was clean. The pizza is very good and I tried the sandwiches this time. The Italian sausage and the meatball are both very good. I would always recommend the Rho Rho rolls, which are basically pepperoni rolls. They are our favorite thing here. I'm not a fan of paying at the table. I guess I'm more of a traditionalist. I prefer to hand someone my card after they've left the check, then let them scan it and then I'm free to write in the tip at my leisure. I really don't like someone standing over me while I decide how much to tip and I feel rushed to get out my card. That really is my only complaint and it's more personal preference than anything. We order out pizzas from Locatellis ALL the time! This afternoon, we're dining in. Started off with a few local beers and 3 Balls, No Strikes (meatballs with marinara and mozzarella, baked). For the lasagna loving keto lovers- THIS IS HEAVEN. I'm super glad we started off with this one! Next up, side salads. Hubby had the house salad, I went for the blue cheese blues. Asides, mind you, and they were GIANT SIDE SALADS! We could have slips one! And it wasn't blue cheese crumbles, on mine but blue cheese CUBES! Delicious and so good I could see making a meal out of just those (add some grilled chicken, and again, you're in keto heaven). Btw, Dwight, our server? Superb service and great personality! Even brought us a few extra 'tastes' of beer (Eureka Heights Mini Boss - lemony, bright, fresh) and a had great laid back attitude all throughout our meal. We'll ask for him every time we dine in! Ok, on to the main event- pizzas: Want a Perfect white pizza? Start with the Blanatelli- drop the bacon and pineapple (who DOES that to a pizza?!) and add artichoke and ricotta. It's a creamy delicious melt in your mouth experience! Hubby has the Carnitelli- if you like a meaty pizza, this is your jam!! Add fresh jalapeños and artichoke if you want to pretend it's healthy. And for both? DO THE CAULIFLOWER CRUST. Seriously- not only is it keto friendly, but it TASTES GREAT! So thankful for this option (it's what turned us on to Locatellis to begin with). Pizza could be crispier. The single slice I ordered was average in taste and texture. The downside of Locatelli's is the lighting that is way too bright and a dealbreaker for a return visit. It is along the lines of New York pizza; except they use the conveyer belt oven instead of the brick oven. I really like the taste of the pizza sauce and great quality toppings. I then ordered the blancatelli which is Alfredo sauce, spinach, chicken, pineapples (on the side) and bacon. It sounds so amazing! One slice was $6.50 and 13" pizza (which feeds two people) was 16.25 and 17" pizza which feeds 3-4 was $23.00. You can add premium toppings. I got my toppings to the side. The pizza was amazingly beautiful to look at. Zingers was okay. Not spicy as advertised by decent sauce and crunch. Pizza was thin but hot and cheesy. I prefer the pineapples off the pizza. I'm very disappointed in Locatelli's. we come here all the time for many years. we came in at 4:55 pm before there was the typical crowd. there were several tables empty. The host put us at the table in the back by the wall. we asked to move to the table closer to the middle of the restaurant so we could see the tv. The host told us the current table we were at was the only table we could sit at, even though there were multiple tables available. I asked "so when the next family that comes in you aren't going to sit them at that table?". He had no answer for me. sure enough, 3 minutes later a family of four came in and they sat them at the table we asked to sit at and were told the table we were at was the only option. completely uncalled for! read more

I have to confess, I have not ordered from Locatelli in a while, so my review may be colored by some fond memories I have from a while back. I used to love the pizza here. Most of my previous orders have been takeout, though I've dined in quite a few times. Great experiences always. Now, either I'm remembering wrong, or it's not the same place anymore. The prices have gone up quite a bit (which I suppose is understandable), but the pizza has also become unremarkable. The toppings are fewer and farther apart, making it visually unappealing, especially on combos that don't have a lot of color. I had some flashbacks to high school cafeteria pizza, to be honest, a large pizza with some sprinkles of toppings. The bread was a little bland and chewy too, and it could've used a little more time in the oven. I understand if you raise the prices to maintain quality, but don't double dip on both quality and price. TBH I'd rather have a Costco pizza at this point. I hope I just got unlucky, and I know they can do better, from past experience. The question is, did they just have an off day, or is it how it is now? read more

I usually pop in once a week for a slice or two & maybe a Grolsch. The Hawaii-telli with heat is my go to, I swap out the Canadian bacon for pepperoni & add extra cheese as well. My only critique is that the pizza boxes they have for their slices are just a smidge on the small side so your pizza slice cheese may melt to the cardboard :/ Staff always seems to be very helpful with customers. I was very happy to see Grolsch on their beer list as I used to drink it more regularly in my college days. Pizza is a rarity in my house - I think the last pizza we had was John's of Bleeker Street in Manhattan (yum!) - and it's always a debate who to call. The way the debate usually goes is "let's order a pizza." "Ok, whose pizza?" "I don't know, anything but Poppa John's". Then the discussion repeats for a few minutes and ends with "let's just get Chinese". We eat a lot of Kung Pao and Tom Yum Ghai. Haha. Tonight, though, pizza - and Locatellis - won. Not being familiar with them, and being carnivores, we ordered the "Carnatelli", which is ham, ground beef, pepperoni, and bacon. Not a bad combo, so we ordered one along with a house salad. Ready in 15 minutes. I picked it up and brought it home. Oh, what a disaster that was. I think the cardboard would've been better. In fact, I think they used cardboard for the crust. Other than being round and in a pizza box, it was not remotely pizza-like. Cheese was barely there and what was wasn't very cheesy, no stretch, no bite, no flavor. I tried to add garlic powder, oregano and red pepper flakes from my cabinet to add some flavor, but it didn't work. Maybe other things on the menu are better - there was a ton of people in there eating, with a line of people waiting for a table - but the carnetelli was a bad choice. The house salad is the only reason I gave a two star meal three stars. It's pretty basic, but the ingredients were fresh, the lettuce crisp, and the house vinaigrette was pretty good. Go there and try it for yourself, but stay away from the carnatelli. And don't expect John's of Bleeker. read more

We LOVE Locatell's for the food and ambiance. The staff is STELLAR, though I wish there was a bit more support for them. We witnessed some inappropriate behavior from an older male patron tonight, speaking to YOUNG servers in a very adult (and rude) way. Hopefully the leadership supports and protects their staff in these events! Please take care of this incredible (and often younger) staff, helping them feel safe and supported!
