Called at 8:45 on Sunday and David was at my house by 9:20 to fix the lock on my front door. He quoted $210 on the phone and when he arrived he found the door to be misaligned due to a child safety lock I had installed. He fixed the broken latch, the safety lock and the door alignment, all for the same quoted price. He worked diligently for about an hour and I even saw him using a dustbuster to clean the sawdust from his drilling! He competed his work, charged my card, and was on his way. I just moved into a new home and was advised by several people to make sure to re-key the locks. I found great reviews for these guys. I messaged them through Yelp and got very quick responses with accurate quotes. As a bonus, I found out they could also do duplicate keyless fobs for my cars - for a much lower price than what we were quoted through the dealership ( or should I say, stealer-ship!). The locksmith kept in touch via text and unfortunately could not keep the appointment window but was able to still come later on the same day. They automatically timed it so the vehicle key specialist arrived separately but within a few minutes of eachother. They did a great job and also did some simple indoor lock/door adjustments on the house as a way to make up for the late arrival. read more

Called LockBusters and they showed up exactly on time and offered a flat rate quote that was very reasonable. Ben was extremely courteous and friendly and even offered me a ride to the metro, so I could get back to my car that I was locked out of in DC. I've used other lock smiths before in the area, and have had terrible experiences. I was locked out of my townhouse and my fiancé called LockBusters to get a quote. He was told that it would be either 125 or 145, depending on whether the lock would have to be broken. Our wait time was an hour (which is what they had promised) and pretty reasonable. When the locksmith arrived (I didn't catch his name but he was a young guy), he was super friendly and professional. He reiterated what we were told over the phone that the price would depend on whether he would have to break the lock, and he said he will do whatever he can not to break it. Not even 2 minutes later, the door was open with the lock intact! Easily the best locksmith service I have ever had. Efficient, friendly, professional, and above all, honest. I highly recommend this company. Getting locked out of your place is never fun, but if it's going to happen you may as well have some consummate and knowledgeable professionals to rely on. read more

My key broke inside the lock (its freezing outside and I had just walked the dog who is a 5 pound fluff ball) - I called Lockbusters and they said they would be with me in 30 minutes. They quoted a price over the phone and I did think yeah right, once they got here they would double it as they would see I had no choice but to agree!! Within 30 minutes they were here. They got me into the house first as they could see my dog was cold and how tiny she is, not to mention I was frozen too! They then fixed the lock, gave me new keys and made sure the door was safe and that I was happy with the lock. The price they quoted was the price they charged. No more. This was the best price - the others had quoted almost double from the start not to mention a two hour wait! I would recommend them to everyone for their fast service, courteous manners and prices.
