Another great experience at Locked and Loaded! Brought my sister here from out of town and we shared the poker run platter (mix of appetizers) and boneless wings. Run down of the apps: onion rings (incredible), spark plugs (pretty good), Mac and cheese bites (amazing), mozzarella sticks (a classic and delicious), fried pickles (a little pale but crunchy and delicious). Boneless wings were HUGE hunks of white meat chicken, fried crispy, and the hot buffalo sauce is perfect mix of heat, butter and acidity. My husband got the fried bologna sandwich and loved that too. Service was great and beer was cold, promptly delivered, and refilled often! Our new favorite spot for bar bites. read more

The food was way over seasoned. It was not edible and had to ask for something else. Waitress was great but the owner was a jerk. We could hear him mumbling under his breath and being extremely rude. Will never go back and will make sure we tell all of our friends about our negative experience. read more

This is a great place for fantastic wings, burgers, sandwiches, pizza etc. Our first day was just starters. Side of fried pickles and a side of loaded potato skins. We came back for lunch today and ordered wings (the best), I also had the Ribeye sandwich and fries. My wife ordered the chicken Caesar wrap. The food was fantastic. The staff were great. This is a sports bar from top to bottom, which is a good thing if that's what you a looking for. Two pool tables and large TV's all around the restaurant. Large outdoor seating area. Unbeknownst to us it was trivia night. There were lots of teams but the place did not seem packed. They have a very good selection of beer and a full bar. We started with FRIED BACON! OMG it was as good as it sounds if that's what you are into. I got the burger which came with homemade chips. It was cooked just right. The chips and ranch dressing were nothing short of awesome. Soooo it's a very rare occasion that I end up in Garner, but the birthday boy was on a mission to go somewhere with live music and I guess this place was suggested. There was a group of 6 of us that found a high top table and hang out for a few hours. We ordered a few appetizers. I had the pretzel bites with the beer cheese and I was very happy with it. I also had the chance to taste the fried Mac and cheese and that was really good too! I enjoyed the music, I thought it was a good variety; 80's, country, rock, ect. I did not really like that the establishment closed at 11pm. I understand that the band was only playing until 11, but I thought that there was still a reasonably sized crowd to justify staying open. The only thing I noticed is the use of shredded lettuce on everything, bad idea on sandwiches and burgers it makes the very hard to eat without falling apart. Get some green leaf lettuce for that. I had the Fish and Chips, fantastic except for the packaged cocktail sauce, not a good choice it needs to be made fresh, my son and daughter went for the burger, both cooked perfect fries were good, shredded lettuce again should not be used. It's a biker bar but only when there are a crowd of bikers out front. If you're seeing minivans and SUVs, there aren't going to be too many bikers. And this evening when I arrived, it was not a biker bar. I went right to the chicken wings and ordered the 25 "hot." They're cooked fresh because they took a good 20 minutes or so to be prepared but when they arrived, they were hot and tasty and definitely not swimming in sauce. Very meaty wings, a decent mix of both one- and two-bones. I was definitely bigger eyes and belly this evening, as a bunch of them went back to the hotel room for later snacks. Come for the live music and the burgers! While the service is slow, the burgers are great and the live music was top notch. I came here to check out a U2 tribute band, and the band was awesome. Going with the theme of the place, I ordered a spark plug burger and it was about perfect! Service was extremely slow. My server suggested I go to the bar to order which didn't make sense since I was sitting at a table away from the bar. If the right band is playing, I'll be back for the food and the music and hopefully the service will improve by then. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch yesterday. They are taking several COVID precautions; you must wear a mask except when eating or drinking, staff are wearing masks and tables are socially distanced. We each ordered beers on draft and they were ice cold and delicious. My boyfriend ordered the jalapeño burger with fries and I ordered two lunch specials; 5 boneless wings with fries and a chicken quesadilla. The food was just ok. My boyfriend , my daughter , and I stopped to get dinner at this place . The place was not packed and the waitress check in occasionally. At the time the server was pleasant and our food came in a fashionable time. When it was time for us to go. We paid the bill on the app. We sat at the table for awhile before we left a tip on the table. The waitress comes outside and yelling at us about not paying for our bill. She ASSUMED we didn't pay for our bill because we left a $10 on the table. She literally watched us walk out the door and decides to make a scene. No one else in the establishment was harassed but us when it came to paying . We were the only persons of color in the bar . She made a complete ass out of herself . Stopped by this spot with a hockey team after their game... it was late on a Sunday and these guys were regulars, the service was perfect... the young lady kept our drinks full and got us all fed. Wings were on point, the house made chips were awesome, and the environment was pretty awesome, don't let the "biker" theme scare you off! Last night, we came here on a mission. Mission complete, if we needed food with the addition of live music Ordered their pizza tater tots, pretty basic and decent For the main course, I had myself a burger wrap with all the basic cheeseburger toppings with 1/2lb beef. For being hungry, it tasted pretty darn good, although I can't see myself ordering a burger wrap again in the near future. The side of fried potato chips are crispy, but there were no residual oil from frying it, which makes me wonder if it was already like that or there's another method of cooking them. Also, they weren't really hot, just room temperature to warm. Oh! Their boneless wings had a good BBQ sauce on it, their fried onion rings are the best side I had last night, their burgers are better than burger wraps, and their bone-in wings are huge! Ive been here several times, menu has several great choices. Staff are usually very friendly and spped of service is typically great. We had an off night here, normally id extend quite a bit of grace because im grateful that servers are showing up and busting there tails to serve guests. My issue with thus visit was i was served the wrong beer, rather than owning up to it the server tried to convince me the stout i order was a light stout when in fact it was actually a mango guava sour. I like sours so i drank it, part of my daughters dinner was never ordered which just made for an off experience for her. Manager comped the item and made it right. So kudos for owning the error. I have to give this place 5-stars for our recent dinner experience. This may be the best place in Garner to grab a quick bite for dinner. Note that this place has a bar if not dive bar vibe (which we like) but very cool. The restaurant itself was very clean. It is tucked away just off of Hwy 70 in Garner. The staff was extremely nice and attentive. The food was excellent. We are not in the area often at meal time but we would gladly visit again. I have never been Locked & Loaded, which is strange since it is in Garner, so Mom and I decided to check them out in their new location where Texas Steakhouse used to be. This is considered a biker bar. I thought that the atmosphere was fun, we chose to sit at the bar. Drinks - Mom and I both got a Shotgun Betty with an orange slice, loved the local craft beer selection Food - Mom ordered the Hot BBQ wings, all drums, while I got the Steak Philly with Fries. Crinkle cut fries, my favorite!! The wings were huge and delicious with the side of ranch. And, my food was good as well. Great service, beer selection and food! Convenient to my hotel so I walked over. Was $1 beer night so that was a plus. Sign on door said cash only today. I guess this happens often according to bartender. Had to use ATM that charges $3 to get cash. Had the skins they were pretty good and a chicken wrap. No complaints there. Lots of TV. Had a NHL game, World Series game and a MNF game available. They had family feud on one of the TVs. Asked if they could switch it. Twenty mins later they did. Got my bill and was not charged for beer so I alerted the bartender as I did not want anyone to get into trouble. Got my bill and was charged $6.50 for two beers. Needed an act from god to get it fixed. Got my stuff to go and went back to hotel to eat and watch MNF. I was told it gets very "dark" in there after 9. So be careful read more

We stayed at the hotel near this place. We saw it as we drove by. It looked pretty cool. You can tell it's like a biker bar. It wasn't very busy at this time so I called to see if they were open. They were, It was the weekend of the Backstreet Boys concert. My family and friends came to get a bite to eat and drink. The Bloody Mary was very good. And we had gotten a few different samplers and boneless wings that were good. Our waitress was new but did a great job serving us. Locked and loaded is apparently known for the wings. It's Tuesday tonight, and I didn't know but it's wing night. $.99 wings any amount. They were really good. I had the spicy honey wings. They wash down with a couple bud lights which are I guess her usual special. It wasn't very busy, and they closed early but the food was great and the service was great. I love the garlic cheese curds. Interesting flavor to them and matched well with the canned marinara sauce. read more
