One of our favorite places when we visit Ft Worth. The bourbon cream is my go to. We have tried every drink on the menu. Well crafted drinks. Low key vibe. Service - Juan at the bar was fantastic. He took care of the bar, outside dining without missing. Beat Pastrami sandwich is what my husband remembered from his last visit, and wanted this visit - he got it. But "it didn't melt in his mouth and taste like last time". So he won't be ordering it again. $20 for a sandwich, it needs to be well worth the money. Thankfully I ordered the Dirty South Pie (on the HH, generous serving) and it was quite tasty, so we were able to both enjoy that. read more

This place is a nice spot to go hang out. They have great drinks, and I love that the menu is always changing and seasonal but they have their staples too. They distill theyrriwn drinks and have such a range from vodka, whiskey to gin, even done crazy flavors. They often have live music when we visit and we have tried the Reuben sandwich which was delicious. I have not had a bad drink there and the bar tenders are all very friendly and enjoy mixing new recipes for cocktails. I've been twice and can't wait to return :) read more

Went here for after work bites & cocktails with a friend and we loved it! Bright & chill vibes with retro and current music. We loved our Frito pie & pimento dip. Perfect for sharing and with our cocktails. My Angry Bee was refreshing, but the Cosmo was beautifully presented and so delicious! We ate, we sipped, and giggled. Came in for a drink while we waited for our table at pizza place near by. Great atmosphere. The help is very attentive. Ordered the poblano pimento cheese It is served with firecrackers . Their appetizer is absolutely delicious. Ordered the "Dill with it " drink, SO TASTY if you like pickles like I do. We had a complimentary tasting of some of their items. This spot popped up right before Thanksgiving and I feel like it's been a bit under the radar -- they haven't had a grand opening yet or anything like that, but they're up and running and rad! Jon and I popped in on a Tuesday around noon and it wasn't busy, but it should be. This place is awesome! They distill their own liquor so their menu is made up of beautiful cocktails concocted with their own whiskey, gin, etc. They also have wine!! But not beer. On their website it says "the lady of the house" prefers wine, so that's why they have wine and not beer, and that makes a lot of sense to me. The setting is quite trendy and bright and clean. They've got a small bar, plenty of tables, a cute and comfortable patio overlooking Magnolia Avenue, concrete floors, sharp & clean lines and angles, pretty woodwork, rad giant ass fans outside... it feels cool and now and perfect for photo ops. Order a cocktail or some spirit on the rocks or a glass of wine. Maybe charcuterie (they have a small plate menu that offers a lot). Our bartender was a lovely woman named Megan who took great care of us. And when I looked at their website I saw that this location was a locksmith before, and Lockwood has continued the tradition of offering a key-cutting service!! That's pretty cool and special. Can't wait to come here again. The vibe is engaging but relaxed and that's exactly what I look for in a bar! read more

We came here for drinks and it was a fun, chill vibe. We were able to get a table outside on the patio. We ordered 2 seasonal cocktails, so they probably won't be available for long. They were a little pricey-$12 and $16. Service was good, but we enjoyed other cocktail bars more than Lockwood. read more

Trivia Thursday was entertaining and the entire place was packed. There was exactly one server/bartender who was handling every customer. The wait was expectedly long but no one seemed to mind and we rolled with it. The bartender did his best and got a few orders wrong but it was still a positive experience overall. Hopefully the owners care enough to send help next time and don't expect the patrons to roll with it repeatedly. Definitely try their strait bourbon if you love spicy whiskey. read more

To start off I LOVE Lockwood for happy hour. They have great well executed food options and their charcuterie board is to die for. I've gone here many a time for happy hour. The cocktails are delicious, the prices are good, and the environment is always nice. Comfortable and quiet with decent service. I docked one star for the whiskey. All their whiskeys have a certain undertone that is unsettling and not desirable. Not sure how to put a finger on it but it's a very stale flavor that is detectable in all variations. I will continue to frequent Lockwood because I love their drinks and food but I won't be buying any more bottles of their whiskey anytime soon. read more

We had a wonderful time at this cozy space with a great patio facing magnolia. Our drinks were awesome and our food- charcuterie board and hot dogs- was also good. My picky 3 year old ate almost all of his kids meal! Things were on the pricier side but I felt the quality matched what you paid. We just wouldn't be able to eat/drink the way we did within our budget and go there often. The server made great suggestions for our drinks and helped when we needed to move indoors as my son was not in the mood for the live music. They had live music that was an enjoyable mix of what I think was their original songs and past hits. We will definitely plan a happy hour here in the future! I am not a Whiskey guy,..I bought a bottle of their Whiskey Bourbon for a friend of mine and was so curious that I opened it before I gave it to him (OK now I have to buy him a new bottle) and I poured a little shot for myself and I was sooooo surprised! This was some of the smoothest Whiskey I have EVER had! I really was shocked at how much I liked it. So now I have a local Distillery I can recommend to friends. read more
