Slow service and one of the female bartender was very rude. She asked for more tip when we paid after she forgot our drinks several times and took forever to make them. After we left she yelled at us over a megaphone calling us "Broke" and cursing at us. Her behavior was disgusting and trashy and this definitely made the company look horrible. Definitely won't be coming back or recommending it to anyone because of her. read more

The best part about this bar is the view and ability to people watch along the Boardwalk. We stopped by on our way back home after a night out and I think it lived up to its expectations. This is not a classy bar, this not a cocktail bar, this is a dive bar on the beach and you what you see is what you get. Randy and Jacqueline were slinging drinks and they sold us on the rum buckets. Not bad and it definitely loosened up the wifey. They immediately asked for both of our first names and told us theirs as well. It was very personable and a touch we both appreciated. I can't speak to some of the bad things I've read in other reviews but we had a good time and the staff were all very pleasant. Good news! With a change of management, the place has upped its game. Food is back, and it's not bad. The bad news is that beer specials are gone, but overall it's still affordable. Culture-wise it's gone from a super max detention facility to something more minimum security. One review complained about overt racism there, I can confirm- I've seen it myself. Another review complained about smart-ass bar staff making off-color jokes. To you, I say, put on your big boy/big girl pants if you're gonna go. It's a BAR. Get over yourself. read more

My wife and I have vacationed in Hollywood Beach for about ten years, about 3-4 trips per year. Logan's has been a place we have enjoyed. We have had valued service by pleasant employees, and they were very accommodating. Food and drinks not special and not any less costly than the competition; but, the food and drinks were just fine. The property could use some remodeling. Our last visit to Logan's started off the same way. It was Saturday afternoon Sep 8th, 2018. Lisa and the other bartender were great! Then there was a shift change. At Lisa's request, I cleared my tab on the credit card I left on file; with tip about $61. We decided to order one more drink and then move on. We had purchased a Rum Drink Cup special, you got to keep the cup and refills were only $10 (we had not ordered a refill yet). The new shift bartender brought the drink, I handed her my card, she declined allowing me to use it because there is a $15 minimum to use plastic money. I explained why we cleared the tab, she would not yield. I asked for my card back and advised I did not want the drink. The other bartender asked if I expected them to dump the drink. I replied yes. Robert Irvine needs to visit this place and give it a make over...great beach location but the setup is ameturish at its best. At least the bar stools were comfortable. We asked to make sure the fries were hot. ..NOT!!! The hamburger was close to ok, but no mustard, ketchup, mayo... Decent, laid back spot for a drink on the beach that's reasonably priced. This has become one of our standard stops for a drink when the boyfriend and I are at Hollywood Beach (not all that often honestly, maybe once a month at most). Great location for people watching! Drinks are reasonably priced and are usually poured with a generous hand by the bartenders who are always having a great time and making sure everyone else is too. Definitely a divey joint that draws a mixed crowd, but every time we go it's a fun, laid back group, just enjoying an afternoon out by the water. Most of the times we have been here it has been during the late afternoon/early evening, so I can't speak to other hours/shifts. One time we were there into the evening and the bartender who came out for the night shift was not nearly as entertaining or friendly, but that was just one night so I can't say how it is in the evenings regularly. Afternoon bartenders are great though, for sure. Only complaints: Beer selection is standard bar beer, nothing unique or local. And no food! The food has come and gone at least once since we've been coming here (about the last 6+ mos) and when they had it, it was good bar food (had some good fish nachos once there). Otherwise though, I would recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a no-frills, laid back beach bar with a fun atmosphere. read more

I have never written a review on Yelp. We have been to Logan's Beach Bar in Hollywood Beach twice before and the food has been good. Five of us went last weekend and we ordered over $60 in food and 5 waters. The water came in a 6 ounce clear disposable plastic cup. When we received the bill we were charged $1.50 for each glass of tap water -$7.50 plus tax I also asked for an extra plate. The answer was, 'I will bring you a ToGo box'. And he did not bring an extra plate or a to go box. read more

I loved this place! Randy and Lisa behind the bar were the best.

This is a calm, yet nice bar by the beach. The atmosphere (Sunday night) was calm yet had a handful of people. The service from the bar tenders was good. They both seemed lively and funny, being courteous and cracking jokes. I had the breakfast burger. It was good. They have an a-frame outside by the door saying they have the best burger in Hollywood. I would say they may be a good contender for it. Fries seemed general though. About $15, but it did fill me up. Beer (angry) was almost $5. I say prices compared to other places on a beach was decent, a bit high but still not too expensive. I do recommend if your trying to relax by the beach, try them out. read more

Location is everything here! 180 degree views of the boardwalk, beach & ocean... this + the overall Yelp rating had us pull up seats bar-side. Having just made it into town, we ordered up a couple Miller Lites, $5 Fireball shots & some sodas for the kids. Ahh, this is exactly where we wanted to be - good music playing through the speakers, cold beer in hand, bathing suits & flip flops in December... well, minus the random staring dude, whom kinda weirded out the kids, but I suppose those can be anywhere. Orders consisted of fish tacos, grilled chicken sandwich, a burger & chicken tenders. Prices a bit hefty for portion & quality, but everything was edible, it filled our bellies & everyone cleared their plates. Saw a couple of dated pool tables on the way to restroom, otherwise the inside was deserted. My review was deleted off of google. I visited this place 3 weeks ago for my boyfriends birthday. We were humiliated in front of the whole bar by the bartender. He yelled disrespectful and racial remarks as we walked off because I did not like the mozzarella sticks, I wanted them taken off of the bill and because I tipped $1. I'm a huge fan of DP's. This is not someplace you come for a date or a special moment. This is a beach bar with great views, great people watching and great drink prices. At night there is usually some live music in the form of a guy and his guitar. Bartenders are nice and friendly. There's food, but I've never had any. I miss the chalk board bar (you would literally get drink with chalk and just draw and release your inner child on the bar), but that won't stop me from coming in whenever I'm on the beach or in the neighborhood. read more

first night in town, looking at all our options and boy are there plenty. My guy and I kept coming back to this Yelp listing. It was calling our names like the Mermaids in the ocean. Found some street parking (its all metered and all the time) and found Logan's right where it says it is- at the end of the boardwalk. Started off with a rita on the rocks and malibu with coke. This is a place the locals like to come hang out and have happy hour convo. It was awesome. Met a guy also from Dallas about 10 minutes in and we were the new locals with their group after that. Great friendly conversation. Also got the lay of the land from the locals too. It was awesome. Good service too- we were persuaded to have the Curazan Bucket. 8 shots of rum topped off with punch. It was delish and yes, we shared. Refilled it, and shared it again. It was tiny but mighty and the bucket became our ice bucket back at the motel since we didn't have one. I ordered their pretzels from the appetizer section- perfect fix for my craving. My guy got lump crab sandwich and I added a fried chicken sandwich. Both were good. The cook was from NY-Long Island. I should have trusted the ruben had I known. The fried chicken was moist on the inside and nice an crispy on the outside. I didn't care for the roll too much so just ate the chicken. Love, love, love this place! We stayed in Hollywood Beach right off of the boardwalk and came here for bar bites and drinks to celebrate my dads birthday. Man did we have a great time. Firstly, its a bar right on the boardwalk, you have a beautiful view towards the ocean and beach. We were abke to watch the beautiful sunset from here. The staff is awesome! All the girls that work here are super friendly and take care of you big time. They were a blast! All in all the good was actually really good, we had the fried calamari with sweet chili and nuts, woah, just woah! It tasted delicious. Then we got the seasoned fries with beans, cheese, scallions and bacon, again Woah! Delicious! The chicken fingers were also yummy! Loved the sarcastic special boards outside the bar. We had bottles of beer, they were ice cold!! Perfect. Bartender was very nice and quick. Bar looks a little worn, some of the liquor bottles looked very old. But still a great little bar, perfect to grab a cold beer. read more
