I got all of this for $11.99 at Logan's Roadhouse. This is my first time here in over a year. I had an unfortunate experience with a bad waitress last time. There's no way to sugarcoat it - she sucked. I've been seeing these "Real Deal Meal" specials advertise on Facebook, so I decided to give them another shot. I looked over the menu before I left work for my lunch break and that peppercorn and bacon grilled chicken was definitely calling my name. When I walked in around 12:30, I was a bit taken aback by the lack of customers. There were people at maybe three tables... that was it. I will say that service was pretty slow. It took them a while to take my order or bring me a drink. However, I believe they were training a girl. Honestly, I could have made a meal out of my salad and rolls. They have some pretty good ranch! When they brought out my sandwich, I realized they had gotten my side wrong. I ordered mashed potatoes. I was a little surprised because I had told her that I wanted butter on the mashed potatoes and that I was French fried out. She asked if I wanted gravy and I told her that I would just stick with butter. Surprise! They brought out fries. By the point, I was so stuffed. I figured instead of correcting them, I would just bring the fries home to David in a to-go box. He is like Mikey, he will eat anything. The food was good and it was a whole lot of food for a cheap price. $11.99 gets you an entree, salad, side, rolls, and a drink. You can upgrade for a fee to a steak. If you have plenty of free time and nowhere else to go in a timely manner, I recommend checking this deal out. Now, I am waiting on my box for these fries and hightailing back to work because the clock is ticking!!!

Stopped in to grab a bite to eat before going to our hotel for the night. We had planned on going somewhere else and then saw Logan's and made a last minute decision to dine here. We wish we had gone with our original plan. Service was really good. We were seated immediately and greeted right away by our server. We shared a 16oz ribeye and each got a potato as the 2 sides. We ordered the steak medium and it was more medium rare and it was so fatty and grizzly. We didn't feel like fussing over it and ate what we could. The potatoes were pretty much the only good part of the meal. If I was rating this on just the food, it would be a 1 star review, but I am giving it 3 stars because the service was exceptional. We never had to ask for refills or wait for the check. Sadly, we won't be back to dine here the next time we are in the area.

Food 3*, service 4*, ambiance 4* Chef Joseph here. Ordered Logan sirloin med rare, green beans, & corn. Steak and green beans came out cold, sent yhem back. They cooked another steak and a hot dish of green beans. The steak was cooked perfectly, juicy and tender. I would recommend this place.

Tony and I went to eat lunch Wednesday at Logan's Roadhouse for a nice steak meal. First of all we were greeted and seated immediately which I absolutely love. I hate waiting Our waitress came immediately and took our drink order. Tony went with big Budweiser Light Draft and I had Unsweetened Tea with Lemon and Lime. She brought us some Yeast Rolls and ample butter nice and soft. I asked the waitress questions about their reward program and she showed me how and where to download on the phone. It gave us an immediate $5 off a our $25 or more ticket. Tony and I ordered same thing, 6oz Center Cut Steak medium rare with Baked Potatoes and Side Salads. Tony had Ranch and I took my favorite 1000 Island Dressings with light on croutons. The potatoes had butter and sour cream with mine on the side. Our waitress brought everything immediately so it was so nice and hot. She gave us extra dressing and plenty of butter. The meal was delicious!!! Steaks cooked perfectly!! Potatoes were perfect!! Everything was great!!! The steak had that perfect char grilled taste Loved it!!! Definitely going back and definitely recommend.

I'm not a fan of pressure cooked ribs unless they throw them on the grill for a char and fire/smoke flavor which Logan's doesn't not do.

The bar staff was outstanding from start to finish. We had a few different bartenders taking care of us, and each one was attentive, friendly, and great at helping with recommendations. We ordered the New York steak and the Brussels sprouts special. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium, and the Brussels sprouts hit that ideal balance--crispy, flavorful, and just right. Everything we had was packed with flavor. The drinks didn't miss either--ice-cold beer and expertly crafted cocktails all around. If you find yourself in Charleston, this spot is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommend.

We were in visiting on a work trip and we were looking for some great food. First off, the venue space is nice. I really liked the atmosphere and vibe. Unfortunately, things kind of didn't start well and they just went downhill from there. We were looking at the higher dollar menu items like the seabass and scallops. They had a scallops special that caught our attention but the chef wouldn't budge on the menu sides. We were looking for something lower carb. What I wanted was the scallop dinner with the special miso sauce, but instead of the sweet potato hash, I wanted veggies. But the server said the chef said no. Based on that, we both ended up ordering a hamburger. It wasn't what we wanted but we felt it was the safest option based on the quality of the appetizer. You see, we had ordered some calamari and it was so bad we had to send it back. It was nothing but hard crunchy batter. There was very little calamari actually in the pieces. You couldn't even pierce it with your fork. It was horrible. Based on the quality and flavor of the calamari, we decided to not take the risk on sea bass or scallops. The burgers came out and they were ok. Nothing special. I've read through some of the other reviews about the complaints of how salty the food is, and I can confirm the food we had was way over salted. Now for the service. This was a really awkward and uncomfortable night. The server was trying but he honestly didn't fit the price point of the menu. Each interaction was more awkward than the next. The things he would say and the way he communicated, made us so confused and uncomfortable. He was a nice guy, he just probably isn't a good fit as a server. We've had good meals in Charleston before, tonight wasn't one of them. The martinis we had were good, but we walked out of there only spending $70, while we had a budget of $125 each to spend. This restaurant lost out on $180 worth of business all because they didn't want to budge on the scallops dish. Do the math, this wasn't a smart business decision.

It was a Thursday night and DT's looked like a very nice place. There seemed to be a lot of tables open but the hostess said there'd be a wait since we didn't have reservations. The bar was pretty empty so we just grabbed a seat at the bar. We decided to split a Grilled Caesar salad and an order of Lamb Shanks. We also ordered two house wines. The Caesar salad came out first and they had split it on two plates. We thought that they had given us each a salad since it looked like they had placed two romaine heads on each of our plates. The bartender said "No, that's how they split it". They must've grilled the romaine on the grill with steaks because the lettuce had a steak taste to it....very very good. We'd never had lettuce taste like that. The salad dressing was very good. Next they brought out the lamb shanks. The menu said it came with 4 shanks, but there were only three on the plate. They were done perfectly and there was a lot of meat on the bone. Some of best I've had. It would've been nice if they'd had 4 on the plate as advertised but we were fine eating just the three of them. Nice place...good service.

I wanted to try something new and interesting and through my Yelp research I found this spot. It's located in downtown with metered street parking free Monday-Saturday nights after 6pm and all of Sunday. Luckily, we were able to find a spot easily. Inside was modern and relatively clean. We had to wait a little bit to be seated as they were pretty busy; however, this place had a decent amount of seating and space. Service was good overall, but it wasn't as consistent as I would've liked for actions such as water refills, asking for extra napkins, etc. This was partly because they were very busy that night. They have a variety of food options - apps, salads, sandwiches, pies (pizzas), and dessert. We ended up ordering a large pizza (thin crust) to split - half Thai and half Chicken Gouda. Both were yummy although the crust was a tad burnt - nothing bad to the extent that taking bites were an effort. Overall, I preferred the Thai since I've never come across a Thai style pizza and I could really taste the curry sauce. The only downside of the Thai was that the shrimp were slightly overcooked, which could be potentially explained by us ordering a pizza split in two styles with them cooking the entire pizza evenly versus what is needed for each ingredient. We finished the entire pizza between the two of us, but I could see someone having some leftovers. If possible, they might want to do some minor pest management. The entire time of our visit a fruit fly or gnat was hovering around us and the food. We tried to catch it and protect the food, only for it to ultimately take a permanent dip in my water. My overall assessment was that it was a good place to try in the city. It's not something I would crave, but I wouldn't mind coming back again if I was in the area.
