It began with the hostess saying like a robot, "follow me". Walked through filthy restaurant that should have been a hint about what was to come. We were seated at a booth that had so much dust on top of the wall between other booths, it was very gross. Our waiter, Elijah, had the personality of a wet mop. No smile, no hello, just the same robotic recitation of something. Could not understood what he said. Ordered drinks and he left. I ordered salad with what was supposed to be grilled chicken with peppercorn/parmesan. What I received was a piece of old, boiled chicken covered in what looked like vomit. No grill marks at all. Not appetizing at all. I asked for a piece of just regular grilled chicken. Husband's sirloin steak was old and tough. Mashed potatoes where not good. How do you mess up mashed potatoes? I ate one of the worst meals I ever ate in my life here yesterday afternoon. I'd eaten here in a sort of emergency situation a couple years ago with my mother. Today I was in Charleston with my elderly, picky-eater father, who stated he wanted nothing but 'normal American food'. The kind of place he wanted to eat at hasn't existed since the 80s, but I thought Logan's Roadhouse would be good enough. It wasn't. The service was fine, our waitress was friendly and did a great job of keeping our drinks refilled. He got the soup and salad combo - except it wasn't a combo. The menu lists the soup and salad in the same place to make you THINK it's a combo, but it isn't, and so he spent over $20 on a salad and bowl of soup. His loaded baked potato soup had some kind of foul aftertaste. The salad was a salmon Caesar, the salmon was overcooked into a brick and the Caesar dressing - I got a side Caesar with my meal too - did not taste at all like Caesar dressing. Sharp, vinegary, exceptionally potent but not very flavorful. I got the chicken fried steak, and it was a near miss. The portion was nice, the gravy was alright, the fry was crisp, it was very nearly out of the park good. BUT, it tasted of old rancid cooking oil. The rice pilaf side was just gross and tasted of canned carrots. After eating I went to the bathroom, and if I'd seen the bathrooms before I was done eating I would've turned around and walked out without paying. The toilet backs were covered with dust, pubic hairs and pee spray, and I had to get a paper towel and soap and wash the seat before I could use it. Never, EVER again, under any circumstances. Going hungry would've been preferable, and I'm genuinely considering contacting the health board over the bathrooms. read more

Maybe I have confused Logan's Roadhouse with some other restaurant. I ate a steak in Birmingham at what-I-thought-was Logan's and it was very good. This is not so good. I ordered their special ribeye but didn't notice it was 20 ounces! First of all it wasn't a ribeye but a strip. That was forgivable as I like strip steaks too but this one was chemically-tenderized and had a good bit of gristle. Not a good meal at all. If you're looking fir a good steak, Outback might be a much better choice. I wish I could remember where I ate the steak in Birmingham. It was very good but this one was very mediocre. Popped in on a Sunday evening (7:00pm) to get a decent meal and a okay cost. They could not provide a good seating arrangement for 2 adults and 1 toddler. How ever they were out of most of the menu items. Did not have lids for cups, had to ask numerous times for a straw, no napkins, and the rolls were cold. Staff was friendly to a degree. Staff wanted to sweep while we were trying to eat. Bathrooms were disgusting to the point I would rather use hand sanitizer instead of touching the sinks. read more

I went in before my meal to use the facilities and to wash my hands but the restroom was in such poor condition and dirty... stuff I don't want to spell out on here i was turned off. I travel full-time for my job and I thought if the manager allows the restroom to be in this condition, I wonder what the kitchen looks like? So I left before even sitting down. Christmas shoppers everywhere but restaraunt was empty by comparison. Waited forever. $23.00 Ribeye. I politely had to ask if this was actually a ribeye or did they get it mixed up. They said it was a ribeye with no fat lol. Do not get cold slaw it tastes like cabbage covered in hot mop water if they just put miracle whip on it only it would be 100% improvement but this is a restauraunt serve some good Cole slaw geez. Fries were just frozen unseasoned been out for a while. 1st time I went for a while but won't be back. Gave a good tip to the waitress because it's not her fault and its Christmas. Well Thursday night and I sat down at the bar and waited 10 min for the bartender to ask if I wanted anything. I'm ready for my second beer and now the draft beers don't work. This restaurant was like any other Logans so the food was good, the staff was very friendly and welcoming although one thing I didn't like was that while we were there there were some flies flying around and wouldn't leave our space I completely understand it wasn't the staffs fault but our server did see us waving our hands trying to keep them away from our food and even went past our table and acted like nothing was happening, we didn't expect much but maybe to change to a different table since it was obvious we were bothered by them. I wouldn't mind going back to it since there was really any other problem but I would probably speak up next time. read more

We never received our peanuts, had to ask for lemon 3 times for tea, had to ask for steak sauce twice and had to remind him again to split the bill. Our experience was so bad we thought we were on a hidden camera TV show. The hostess who was obviously off the clock (because she was wearing a coat and holding her purse) sat us in the worst booth possible. The booth was next to the kitchen and close to the area where the *busboy* sat until he had a table to clean. There was a constant flow of the waitstaff rushing by and yelling/speaking loudly to each other. At times some of the waitstaff would stop in front of our booth and talk loudly, we couldn't hear each other speak and we were sitting right across from each other. There were many times when the waitstaff would grab the back of our seats as they turned the corner. It was ok when it happened a couple times but it became super annoying when it kept happening over and over again. Our waitress was nice and checked on us often but that didn't make up for the fact that the food was mediocre at best. Logan's attempt at the standard chain steak restaurant Blooming-Texas-onion-rose-petal is just onion rings with a bland sauce, don't bother if you want an actual steakhouse onion thingie. It was la-la-la-lame. Our steaks arrived lukewarm, bland and overly fatty. And last but not least, the **busboy**. Our booth was next to the kitchen and close to the busboys hangout area. He was up and down and walking back and forth constantly. He was also scratching his junk CONSTANTLY. It was extremely distracting and super gross. So my family and I went to Logan's the other night and I was a little shocked at how dirty this place was, everything was just dirty, they only had a "good" rating from the health department but we thought what the heck we will try it, I wanted chili and beer and everyone else wanted wings and steaks. First let me say that we had an awesome waitress that was very attentive and made sure everything was ok, my chili was cold but I didn't care too much because it was just chili. Everyone else's food came out ok. Did I mention that the place was dirty? The bathrooms were nasty, floors sticky and The server stations were nasty looking, just not a good atmosphere. As I was finishing up my beer I noticed the table across from me ( a couple talking) and the gentleman smacked the table, saw his lips say roach. And I just was shocked, the waitress came over and as she was freaking out a little I saw one crawling on the wall ( we were sitting in the back section) so I pointed and she saw it and got it, then one crawled by me on the wall. Not wanting to start a scene I looked at my wife and stood up and waited for the manager, he was cool came out and took care of our entire bill and apologized over and over. We left our table but saw that they didn't close down the section just bussed it and reset it for the next customers, I couldn't believe it! NASTY! I will never set foot in that location or a Logan's again. Now I see why they had a low rating from the health department. In all of my years dining out I have never experienced roaches before. The food was good. The service wasn't the best. My waitress didn't listen to what I ordered. When I got the food. I promptly and politely told her that my food was not what I ordered. She then proceeded to what I can only assume think because of the mistake I wasn't going to leave a tip. So her service at my table dropped dramatically. I'm not a big fan of terrible service to someone just because you're not going to get a tip. the service was not very good. our waitress didn't come to the table for almost 10 minutes after we had been seated. she apologized for the wait stating they had a lot of call offs (this is a Sunday evening). The restaurant was not busy with maybe 1/3 of the tables being used. she then took our order. the kitchen brought out our appetizer which was really good. after we finished the appetizer the waitress eventually showed up with our drinks. we had to ask for rolls. approximately 20 minutes later our steaks were brought out by the kitchen staff. our waitress was at another table slowly clearing it off. I mentioned to my daughter that we had not received our salads. I was surprised as they normally come out prior to the entrees. I believe the waitress overheard me as she came rushing by with our salads. prior to this she never came by to see if we needed refills or to even mention if the kitchen was running behind. the whole time we were at our table by the kitchen) we had a front row seat to people in the kitchen complaining about each other, customers and their jobs in general. one server stated she had a table walk out and that "they could not even wait 5 minutes for my fat a$$". it was also mentioned that they were scheduled to have a staff meeting the next day. hopefully the do so as the staff does have issues that should be addressed. during our dinner we never saw any supervisory staff or manager fir the location. if they had stopped by our table I would have addressed these issues with them. the main reason I came here is because I had a $100 gift card, I only spent half of it and because the food was so uninspiring I doubt I'll ever be back. The T- bone was a little overcooked but main complaint is it was tasteless. Their $10 hyped bacon on a skewer was not worth the $10. The onion strings were so brittle you couldn't eat them. In summary the food was below average and the price above average, my advice drive right past this place and go to a Texas Roadhouse where you'll get a 5 star meal every-time and it is cheaper than this place. read more

The dinning area is filthy. Rule of thumb, if the dinning area is dirty imagine how dirty the kitchen is. The windows or blinds have not been cleaned in 2 years. The peanuts on the table were so stale they were chewy. The ceiling was very dirty as well. Also there is a faint sewer smell. This place needs an update and a update in management too. Logan's steak is below Applebee's steak in my opinion. It's ok for someone who is not used to eating steak and thinks they are getting a treat, but it is just awful. Steaks are very fatty, lower grade, and you can tell the have been tenderized by liquid tenderizer. The meat reminds you of something you would get at Golden Corral, Ryan's, or Sizzler's. Another turn off about this place is the environment, kind of reminds you of a country bar with peanut shells on the floor. The one thing that was the biggest turn off for me is the fact that Logan's Sirloin is $10.49 and the Outback Special is $9.99, in comparison, this is almost insulting. If for some reason you are forced to eat here the soda actually seems really good for some reason and the Teriyaki Grilled Chicken is really really good. read more

Terrible experience... Easter Sunday with the family. Started great... server brought food, then was not seen for about a hour and 10 minutes... After eating, we sat there waiting for to go boxes and check for about 45minutes... saw another angered table... during this time we talked to two other servers, no help, and then a manager... who did very little too... not even an apology. My experience at Logan roadhouse was disappointing at best. The bucket of peanuts was almost empty at arrival. When the server was asked to refill it she displayed a negative attitude. My friends and I ordered an appetizer. It took about 30 minutes for the appetizer. When asked about the appetizer the waitress responded with "I put it in," in a hateful tone. A friend and I ordered the grilled vegetable skewers. They tasted as if they were burned! It was a very disappointing meal and it also wasn't the first Logan roadhouse I've been to. Came on a Tuesday night so it wasn't busy at all and was seated immediately. My server was very polite and friendly. She did state that she has only been here for a week but to me she has been to for years. She was on the ball. Everything was exactly how I ordered it. I had to go to the bathroom, and when I walked in the floor was sticky and there was stuff all over the seat of the commode, looked like the bathroom hadn't been clean all week.
