I had ordered take out from a Logan's in Arizona while on business travel, and enjoyed the lunchtime hamburger I brought back. I had been jonesing to return and try them out for dinner, and I finally got around to it last Friday at this Logan's. First, call ahead seating was a great thing to discover when I called before leaving my house. Yes, when I arrived I still had to wait about 10 minutes. No, I didn't have to wait 30-45 minutes as others did. Definitely would call ahead again. Imagine my surprise when I found a 12oz Filet Mignon on the menu. I couldn't pass it up, and I wasn't disappointed. I added blue cheese crumbles and sauteed mushrooms, and had a baked potato and Caesar salad. The salad was, well, surprising. It was a decent Caesar, and only lacked the anchovy to make it outstanding. Nothing like what I have encountered at some restaurants where they skimp on the lettuce or dressing. The steak and potato were outstanding, with one exception. While my wife's was perfectly prepared, something happened to mine that made it a bit on the salty side. Nothing worth complaining about, and it certainly didn't make it inedible. It was, well, just a bit on the salty side. I think it was just blind luck, and the manager did offer to fix the problem, but it was too enjoyable to wait for it to return. We took home the cinnamon bun sundae. Wow. That's all I can say. I have a hard time rating a chain store at 5 stars, but the only reason I'm taking one back on this one was the salt. Otherwise, well worth dropping in and enjoying a serious steak dinner. read more

Went to logan's with my wife so an evening out. I will never eat here again. For the appetizer we split the bone in wings. When they arrived at the table, they were cool. It seemed like they had been sitting for a while. The Sauce had soaked into the wings and they were now a pile of mush and hot bbq. For my main course I ordered the salmon, and my wife ordered the 8 oz teriyaki club steak. We waited a while for these to make it to the table, and when they did we were disappointed. My first bite of salmon was off. Way off. When I looked down I noticed the salmon was completely raw in the middle. Not just under cooked, but RAW. It was also leaking fluid across my plate, and had a fishy smell and taste. I sent it back and it was re-grilled, and by re-grilled I mean an annoyed cook burnt it to a crisp. The side were not replaced, and were still covered in whatever ooze that fish had been leaking. Needless to say I tried to fill myself up on rolls. My wifes did not fair much better. He steak was tough, and extremely gristley. The only thing she enjoyed were her fries. Our server seemed nice, but very distracted. After she brought my fish back from being re-grilled we did not see her for over a half hour. Even with the errors with the food, the price was not discounted in any way. It was still full price. The service here blows. Probably won't come back except to drink, because that's the only way I'll be able to tolerate the wait staff. Going on a date? The cool thing they like to do here is take one persons order, bring out their food, then take your date's order. So while you sit and eat like a fatty in front of your date they get the pleasure of imagining how delicious this sub par, typical steakhouse food tastes. And while yelp tells me I'm rolling I'll throw out there that if you do choose to visit this establishment order a prickly pear margarita, it's good. read more

Very bad made my stomach hurt bad and the burger was horrifying strongly don't recommend if you don't want the poops.

My parents love this place, seems like every time they want to go out this is where we go, and I'm ok with that. I love the peanuts on the table and the fact that you can throw the shells on the floor. It reminds me of a steak house that my parents used to take me to that you could do that. I remember the floor being completely covered in shells. The rolls here are to die for, they're so soft and buttery and warm, I could probably just eat those and skip the meal. The 3 of us pretty much order the same thing every time. My mom gets the ribs, my dad & I get the Onion Brewski Sirloin, mine is medium rare & his is well done. I usually get a sweet potato that's the size of my head and something else healthy like veggies but today I opted for the onion chips. The seasoning on them was delicious and the dipping sauce also delicious. My sweet potato was perfect with the cinnamon & butter....yum. My steak was good but it was not medium rare, it was almost as done as my dad's. I chose not to complain and eat it, it was still really good. Mom's ribs didn't fall off the bone like you want ribs to do but apparently she enjoyed them. Our server was great, she kept beverages coming before we were even finished with the one before, she bothered us just he right amount of times and was super friendly and courteous. Um where to start, was suggested to try the meatloaf roadies. It didn't taste nothing like meatloaf. I asked for a cup of hot water, never received it. So we waited another 15 minutes before being told the only way they could accommodate us was to split up our party, not even close. I can see why Logans is struggling to maintain the restaurants they have left. We love Logans and hate that so many have closed. We've eaten at some great ones still left like Harlingen TX and in Prattsville AL. Things started out badly when we were shown to our table and there were ants crawling all over the menus. The hostess apologized and said we would have to wait for another table. Then she says they have to spray for ants all the time because of all the wood inside the restaurant! Next we ordered drinks. The yuengling beer my guy ordered smelled very bad like maybe from the bottom of the barrel, it was awful. He chose another brand of beer. We got our salads and overcooked rolls right away served with margerine. Dinner was well over a half hour wait. That's not normal for Logans. An employee was working while his kids sat at a table. They were very well behaved and old enough to behave which was a good thing. We understand childcare issues and needing to show up for a job, but a restaurant shouldn't be responsible for childcare and the employee shouldnt have to worry while on the clock if his kids are doing ok. Main meal steaks were flavorless but cooked the way we asked. The waitress never asked if our steaks were ok. Service was very slow although we came in quite early in the afternoon and the restaurant was not busy. We will not visit this Logans again. read more

We used to love this place. While the food is still good, the service has declined significantly. Two weeks ago we stopped in at a time that wasn't terribly busy. The service was extremely slow but we still left a generous tip and didn't think too much of it. Last week I ordered four carry out dinners. We went in a couple minutes early to pick up the meals. The person ahead of us evidently had a problem with her order which took several minutes to straighten out. When it was our turn the guy behind the counter said excuse me and stepped away. Another server finally asked if the guy had taken our name. I said no. She apparently went to find him and he appeared again and took my name. He came back with the meals and put them on the counter. At this point a couple walked in the door. He again said excuse me and left to seat the couple. By this time I'm getting annoyed. He finally came back and finished checking us out so we could leave. After a 35 mile drive home I opened the meals to find two side dishes (cole slaw) had been left out. I called and explained the situation. The person who answered the phone asked if I wanted to return for the cole slaw. I replied it's a 35 mile drive one way. He said so are you going to pick up the cole slaw? I said no. He said he would give me a coupon for $5 off my next visit. I chuckled and said that's it? He said what did you expect a free meal? Considering I purchased four meals I did expect one free meal in return for my trouble. He said the cole slaw is only $2 so I guess he thought that extra dollar was more than enough to keep a customer happy. At this point I decided to email the restaurant. It's been a week and I've not received a reply. I am not an expert at running a restaurant, but this doesn't exactly seem like a good way to keep customers coming back. UPDATE: I was asked to give my contact info so the issue could be better resolved which I did immediately. Several weeks later I have yet to get a response. I have been here several times with family and it's been good, however went there for date night tonight with the boyfriend and our experience was ABSOLUTELY horrible. We both wanted to go out for dinner and I was in the mood for steak and we really liked Logan's, so he suggested we go there. It wasn't busy at all which was good and we were seated quickly. It took a few minutes to get a waitress to help us. When we ordered drinks, we had an EVEN LONGER wait. We both were parched by the time our drinks came to us. Adding since we were both parched, we chugged our drinks down pretty quickly. Also we were starving, if you notice the sign in front by the hostess booth you will see a policy that says if you don't order an appetizer, you automatically get a FREE basket of rolls. We weren't asked if we wanted them nor were they brought out. I love their rolls and were disappointed about this. Back to the actual service. Our waitress was MIA most of the time other than taking our orders and giving us our first round of drinks, in fact we didn't see her again until we got our food, because a different waitress gave our order to us. I ordered the 6 oz. sirloin and I know that is a small portion, but no over exaggerating here, it was literally the size of a slice of cheese. It was alright to taste, was warm-ish, the broccoli was a bit too hard, but the macaroni and cheese was good. The boyfriends order, however, was an COMPLETE and UTTER disaster. He ordered the Ol Roadhouse burger, when asked about toppings, he said only tomato lettuce and cheese...the waitress then proceeded to tell him they were completely out of tomatoes and lettuce. I call bullshit on that one. Everything looked fine when it came out just like mine did, but one bite of his burger and it was fucking horrid. I tried it, gross, it was like eating greasy leather. Taste was off and the bun was disgusting. He sent it back and ordered the hand breaded chicken tenders with mashed potatoes and broccoli, so he had to sit and watch me eat. Like I said mine was edible and it was alright. When his finally came out, I was done and he asked me to help him eat because I was still a bit hungry. Let me just tell you one thing, I don't know what they put in the mashed potatoes or how they make them, but I KNOW that's not how mashed potatoes taste. They were unacceptable and had a bad aftertaste. While in the middle of taking a bite, I caught whiff of something strange and it smelled a bit like pet food. Dog food to be more exact. I sensed I knew what it was and low and behold, it was the mashed potatoes producing that raunchy smell. I dare you next time you go in, smell them. So we didn't finish those. The tenders were good along with the broccoli he ordered. Of course when it came to the check, our waitress had given the other waitress that brought our food out the check, (at this point, we were utterly disgusted and just wanted to leave.) This other waitress then proceeds to tell us that our waitress is busy outside taking a smoke break, not something appropriate to disclose at your restaurant. I have nothing against smokers, I used to smoke, however I think it's common sense not to tell your customers that. That would be like her telling us our waitress is busy because 'Natured called' and she would be a minute that's just a no-no! The staff was nice, but the actual service was AWFUL. Food was not great and the atmosphere just didn't feel promising at all, there was literally no one else there. There's no excuse for what we went through. Bathrooms aren't kept up either. Can't tell if they are just dumb and ignorant or they just don't care. I can definitely say we won't be returning and neither one of us feel too great after eating there! DO NOT COME HERE! read more

I have DoorDashed Logan's Roadhouse twice now. The first time I had a steak and ordered it well done but when I received it, it was pink in the middle. I didn't take it too personally so I ordered it again today. I just got my food, Chicken fingers, Mozzarella sticks, a cheesecake and Potato skins. I got no sauce for my chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks or my cheesecake and the potato skins are trash but the bread is good‍. Went on a Wednesday night about 8, so it wasn't crowded and it was my first time. Decided to sit at the bar. I was disappointed there weren't more Local/craft beers on tap, no big deal, There was a few former employees sitting at the bar and seem to get a lot more attention than we did. If he wouldnt told people he used to work there I would have thought he was just drunk. The service was ok at best, although for a long period everyone disappeared to the point the former employee went behind the bar and got what he wanted. Took my family here for lunch today since we had eaten here before and it wasnt bad. The potato skins were burnt and they did remove the charge from our bill. The broccoli had dark dry spots on it. After the second complaint our water as didnt come back for a long time but when she did she said she would talk to the manager. I've tried this place three times because we received gift certificates for Christmas. Our orders were repeatedly messed up, salmon was the fishiest I've ever had. Went there for my Dad's birthday and he ended up getting food poisoning! My first steak tasted as though it had been frozen, thawed, frozen, thawed then cooked. Needless to say it was pretty gross. I sent it back and the second was better but not worth the $20 bucks they were asking for. My boyfriend and I went for valentine's day 2-14-15.. and for starters they brought 2 rolls for 2 people. I had constantly ask for rolls. I ordered the Nashville trio with bone in wings,potato skins,and fried pickles... the wings had sauce everywhere (including my ranch)they tasted watery like they were frozen. The pickles where greasy,and my potato skins were potato skin chips they were so thin with very little to NO potato on it at all and were burnt.. the dinner we ordered was even worse. I ordered grilled chicken and shrimp on rice pilaf and loaded potatoes which I asked to be well done. The chicken was rubbery as if frozen and couldn't be cut. The shrimp was the best on the plate and they weren't even good!!! The rice tasted like rice chopped carrots and seasoning salt. There was so much cheese on my loaded potatoes that it was like I had shredded cheese with a side of potatoes he had ribs and chicken with rice pilaf we pretty the same result he only like his fries . I got one refill and we were there for 2 hours.. I used to love logans, but I am not ashamed to say I will never be back read more

We came in on a sunday evening, before the dinner rush. We were seated right away, and our server was almost with us right immediately. She took our order for food and drinks. We had a steak with 2 sides and a half rack of ribs with 2 sides, one being a salad. The drinks came with the warm buns. And that was it. People were seated around us, and got their food before us. After an hour of waiting, and promises of our waitress to check on our food, there still was no food.... it was until I asked for the manager that this started to move. We got a half explanation of our waitress that it was just her 3rd day, and she needed to learn. The manager came, she went and checked, and within 5 minutes we had our food.... minus the salad. I had to ask for that as well. The food was okay, the vegetables were not quite hot anymore. But we were so hungry that we just ate it anyway. Another couple was sat a few minutes after right next to us and a server took their drink and food order right away. We continued to sit for 5 more minutes and no one ever came.
