We went to Logan's in Goldsboro and the service and food was horrible. Ordered an appetizer (fried mushroom) and was just flour on mushrooms, mushy. Ordered a ribeye sandwich which came out on a small already cut hoogie with a rubber thin sirloin. homemade chips that were cold, and stale. Waitress (M) was agitated to even take our order or even wait on us. we wanted to place our food order after eating the appetizer and she came back before it came out and said let me get y'all's order before I forget about y'all. Did a pick up order for the first time today I'll start with the good lol! Front of house staff was very nice and very friendly! Now to the not so good. Asked for no onions, pickles, mushrooms or tomato on a burger... and ALL of those were up there. There was unfortunately also a hair stuck in the cheese of said burger :/ Asked for cinnamon butter for the rolls and got none. Also asked for cinnamon for my sweet potato and got none. The ribs were about the only thing we actually ate (they were good ahaha). The steak we ordered was cooked wrong and pretty mushy :/ Seems like the kitchen is possibly the biggest issue with this location. Hopefully they make some changes. read more

So I have enjoyed Logans for years in my hometown of Monroe NC. Not so much tonight in Goldsboro, NC. Instead of carrying on and on, I will list what happened. 1) Entered the front door. The hostess was sitting down on a chair that customers would usually sit in while waiting. Not a good impression. 2) Server was polite and efficient! 3) I was 1/2 way through my salad and my steak was delivered to table. I took my time and finished my salad. 4) When I cut into my steak, it "medium" at best (I ordered medium-rare). Granted it may have been medium-rare when brought to my table. But again, it was brought probably 5-10 minutes too soon. (NOTE: I did not complain about anything. A manager did not visit table) 5) Steak was MAYBE 1/2 inch thick. Not what I want for a $25 steak. 6) Was never asked if I wanted dessert. Overall, not a good experience. read more

This was a very disappointing experience. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 was because our waitress was great and the food was ok. The restaurant was filthy and the bar stunk. Grease on the floors and walls. Fortunately our table was not near the bar. I'm surprised this place passes a health inspection. My biggest beef was a chipped glass on my whisky where I ended up with tiny slivers in my mouth. I wasn't cut but don't know if I swallowed any, time may tell. We were greeted promptly and brought to a nice booth. Waitress was sweet and attentive. Salad and bread brought quick. Salad was delicious and the rolls should be illegal. I had salmon with baked potato, everything was fresh and tasty. Friend had chicken and bAked potato, she loved the rice that came under it. We also had a pitcher of beer, it was delicious. Went here after we were unable to get in our usual steakhouse. Visited with my granddaughter and her boyfriend. I ordered the 8oz sirloin cooked medium along with a baked potato and mixed greens salad. Salad came promptly and was fresh and good. Food arrived and as soon as I started to cut into the steak I knew I was in trouble. The steak was anything but tender and It was all I could do to cut it. Although it was cooked perfectly when I put a piece in my mouth I thought I was chewing on a piece of leather. That steak was on of the toughest I have ever had, No matter how small I cut the pieces the chewing did not improve. The redeeming factor of the meal was the salad and potato. If it wasn't for those 2 items I would have gone hungry. My granddaughter and her boyfriend got the same piece of meat and theirs was either cooked better than mine or they just didn't want to say anything for fear of disappointing me. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive but, because of the steak, I won't be gonig back to this location. read more

I really hate leaving negative reviews, but I feel that something should be said about what my family and I experienced. The start of our visit was completely normal and pleasant. We were a group of 7 plus my 2 month old, so we had to wait for a table to be set before we were seated. But that only took a few minutes, and our waitress Haley M almost instantly greeted us and was extremely kind. She took our orders, returned with our drinks in less than 5 minutes, and updated us about when our appetizers would be out. Aside from us she had another larger table close to us that was about 10 people, who were paying when we received our drinks. They were obviously upset and saying negative things about their visit. Then our food was brought to us, but our original waitress wasn't the one serving us. The manager had taken over service of our table, and we then realized our waitress was off to the side crying. After eating our meal, we glanced back over at our original waitress and she noticed, and came over to speak to us. We asked if she was okay, and why she was no longer our server because she was so sweet and doing a great job. What she told us baffled us completely. She explained that the table that we saw leaving were very upset because their food hadn't come the way the ordered it, however that she had made it clear to the kitchen how they requested it to be but she was told they couldn't make it how they wanted. So her table was upset and left 1 penny tip, the kitchen staff were also angry, and ultimately resulted in her manager fussing at her and taking away all of her tables. We felt this was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful of her manager to punish her for one table's experience/opinion. We spoke to her for a few more minutes and told her how great her service was for our table, and told her she deserved more respect than to have tables taken from her and being punished for something outside of her control. We believe the manager handled that situation very poorly to say the least, and we're shocked to hear how he treats his staff. As for Haley, she was very professional, personable, friendly and welcoming. If we ever go back, we hope to see her again and that she's treated with the respect she deserves. Corporate should do something about their management. read more

Ridiculous! I had an online order. Pickup time was 30 minutes. I called to let them know I was outside. 10 minutes goes by so I called back. The girl said she would let them know both times. When I needed something she was there without hovering and did a great job of anticipating what I needed. Ordered a $23 steak and I've had much better hamburgers than what I ordered. Very disappointed and I would not recommend this place. I requested a medium steak in which was returned twice for being rare. Then the third was charred so bad on top that it took away from any flavor that existed. I'd rather eat a Hardee's hamburger. The bartender was super nice and great about the issue but as far as food goes I'd pass. Stick to beer or drinks only. read more

Don't waste your time... this place WASTED my time today!!!!! I often have no choice where a work lunch takes me as I leave the client the choice, well today was one of those occasions where the end result leaves me knowing perfectly well that the chain restaurants can rarely get it right. I'll spare you the details but just know that the hostess stared at us when we got in . didn't greet us, just stared at us then grabbed menus and we were apparently supposed to telepathically understand that we were supposed to follow her. Our server seemed hungover from the night before and looked like it too. She struggled to get us started and take our order. Our lunch took...... 42 minutes to come out...... LUNCH!!!! And no, none of us ordered a steak or burger well done, actually the order consisted of one chicken caesar salad (chicken was grissly and salad was dry), fried chicken salad, and shrimp skewer. I worked in the restaurant world for years while in college and I know that LUNCH is never to take that long to come out. It all could have been forgiven if the staff wasn't so weird and attentive. I won't be back, unless I am forced to again, but if a client suggests this place in the future, I will have to tell them that the service and wait time is not worth the visit. About 6 girls standing at the podium whe, we arrived. We were told we had to wear masks to be seated. My husband and son had no problem but I have copd and the masks restrict my breathing. And even tho we don't have to disclose medical info and by law they aren't allowed to ask, we explained this to the several girls just standing there. I have gone to Logan's Roadhouse on more than one occasion for dinner with friends. The service is nice, and fairly consistent each time. The food is really good. The latest time I attended, I ordered a 6 oz sirloin, with baked potato. They cooked my steak exactly how I wanted, and the potato was very yummy. They are usually pretty crowded in the evenings (Saturday nights), but we got a table right away, and our food came out in about 20-25 minutes. I also enjoy their Long Island Ice Tea. I'm a bit of a lightweight, so I enjoy the fact that I can enjoy one without regretting it later. Definitely a fan! read more

After a long hiatus, I returned to Logan's looking for a good steak. Let's start in the men's room. The urinals appeared to have been cleaned since the Obama administration. Seriously gross..brown stains and crud you would expect from a gas station restroom. The baby changing station was covered in black greasy smudges, one's imagination can take them wherever it will about what the substance is. So onto dinner. My longing for a nicely done charred on the outside, medium in the middle steak, is still a longing. The outside of my steak was a gray to brown. The inside was the right color but was a mushy mess. The shrimp that accompanied the steak were way over cooked, clinging to one another, rubbery mess. The grilled vegetables must have been put on the grill first as they were barely hanging onto the skewer they came on. Mushy overdone mess. The following day I found myself making frequent trips to rest so to speak. Makes me wonder if the mens room cleaning crew also cleans the kitchen. I left wondering if it was ever as good as I once thought. I don't think I'll ever find out. There are other options for a good steak in Goldsboro. I'll be going there. read more

Went to dinner at Logans Roadhouse of Goldsboro with our grandson. The lady was very hateful as she said to my grandson you have to wear a mask. He said I have a medical condition. She said well wear a mask or order take out. She was rude. He said i will if you have one. He has asthma. She waved it at his back. I told him she was handing it to him. He put it on around his mouth. As we were going upstairs, she LOOKED around me and said, again hateful, you have to wear your mask on your face. She was a hateful young lady. We left and went to chilis where we were welcome. We eat at logans ever other week, sometimes twice a week. My family of 4 went for dinner on Oct 10 2017 Friday around 6:00 pm. Service was extremely great for a busy Friday night. Hostess sit us down at a booth. My mother was not comfortable and requested to be moved to a table the server accommodate us with a table graciously. Everything was really great. One small very small issue was my wife's steak was a little over cooked. Server was notified not that it was an issue just wanted to alert them so someone else did not run into the same issue. Manager was very very nice and professional. Was going to comp my wife's meal butbserber already ran the card. So manager have my wife a card for a free entree. This was not expected or needed as the steak was edible and extremely great. Will recommend this location to all great food service an professionalism. Very poor service. Maybe they were not ready for someone coming in at 3:15. Very few people dining, but their was a full staff on duty. Me and my wife were greeted at the door was taking to the bar area. We requested a table not in the bar area. After sitting for 20 minutes and no one coming to the table and watching staff joke and play with each other. I even watched the manager come to the table beside me and get an employment application from a pretty young girl and he never once looked at us or inquired about our service. Came here for a post-graduation celebration dinner. The decor was cute and felt like you were in a western/southern type of place with peanut shells all over the floor, and the cooks grilling steak behind a glass wall. our server was kind and the food was decent. I had the chicken and steak combo. The chicken breast was not dry at all which was great, but my steak was overdone. The pricing is on the higher side of the spectrum.
