Came with my clients today for lunch around noon. Place was packed! From the hostess to the waitress everything was really good. I ordered the rib eye which was cooked right and nice and tender. I also had the adder salad which was fresh and yummy. My problem is the steak was so extremely salty it was painful to swallow. Not sure if it was the sauce or how they seasoned the meet. My customer said it's hit or miss that this happens. I eat at the Myrtle Beach location all the time, but usually get the pepper steak salad. Was really bummed it was so salty, but I had been on the road since 4 am and was beyond starving. 5 stars to the employees though. Probably not come back to this location though. My family and I visited this location after a family reunion and I have to admit I was pleasantly impressed by the service. Our server Conrad was the example of excellent service. Not only was he tentative to our request but he also anticipated our needs to ensure a proper dinning experience. Conrad hopefully will be running his own restaurant one day with this type of drive. The food was amazing with many wine options to select from. I highly recommend the filet mignon with caesar salad. I've been here probably 5-6x and it's been great each time, no problems and the food is always amazing. I think people play up their bad reviews because their food wasn't free once they complained about a non existent issue. Dined at this location for the first time on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. We've eaten at the Garner store many times but this was our first visit since moving to Goldsboro. We started off with the Tonion appetizer, which we haven't tried before. This is a fried, battered onion with a yummy spicy dip. I liked it better than Outback's famous Bloomin'' Onion because of its crispy coating. Definitely will order again. I had the regular-size Ribeye with a baked sweet potato and a garden salad with their house vinaigrette dressing. This vinaigrette was the perfect blend of sweetness and vinegary sourness (I usually order Longhorn's Honey Mustard, but this is my new fave). My husband had the sirloin with broccoli and mashed potatoes. He said the broccoli was perfectly steamed and tender but not limp. Our roommate ordered the big 20 oz Outlaw Ribeye with a double order of fries and cleaned his plate! Our roommate ordered their strawberry margarita and we were surprised when they brought the whole shaker - it was an extremely generous portion, almost like getting a double drink. It looked delicious and he said it tasted as good as it looked. My husband had the Texas Margarita andcloved it. I'm driving so I ordered their Peach Sweet Tea, which never disappoints. Our steaks were perfectly cooked to order and wonderfully tender and juicy. Service was outstanding and our server was amazing. She was a very nice lady and we enjoyed talking to her. Every day is the draft special $2.50 for bud light and Miller Lite . Our server Heather was pleasant and not overly attentive. Our dining experience at Longhorn is always top tier. I simply came here to shout out their AMAZING waitress Ayanna. We have never had anyone like her there. Her drink suggestions were great, our appetizers came out super quick, and she even asked me if I wanted my broccoli double steamed. She understood the assignment of going above and beyond. We went here when in town visiting my father because the location in Garner, NC is our main place for getting a consistently great meal with great service and has been for a few years now. We usually get the Renegade Sirloins at LH in Garner because they are more flavorful than what you normally get at a franchise steak house but it would appear the two locations' only thing in common is they share the same name. The sirloins here were tough and did not have the same flavor quality as the Garner Longhorn. The house salads and baked potatoes were very good but all three steaks were a major fail. The server never told us her name and upon mentioning that my father's steak was very tough, she did not even offer a courteous apology. So, next time we want steaks in Goldsboro, we'll go across the street to Texas Roadhouse because their steaks - at least the sirloins - are much better. read more

She is not polite either nor attentive. The Longhorn steak has also gotten considerably thinner. This steak is not the size they claim on the menu. This was my first visit to Longhorn. It was a good experience and the food was great! We had a party of six dining in. Most everyone ordered steaks this visit. We had varying requests from rare to medium-well and they all came out cooked correctly (no steaks had to be sent back). I had the ribeye, which was tasty. One person ordered the parmesan chicken and it was excellent. The portion sizes were pretty large and everyone in our party needed to-go boxes. We had a server in-training so she had an experienced server working with her. They were excellent and we didn't have any complaints about the service. They were all very nice. Yummy!!! I had the outlaw ribeye and side salad. My mom had the Parmesan chicken and baked potato. We started with the shrimp appetizer. Everything was legit. It was all cooked perfectly. Not gourmet but still good consistent food. The shrimp appetizer was a nice salty deliciousness. And my steak though a tad over cooked (I asked for medium and it was closer to medium well) it was juicy and seasoned well. I would be back if I'm back in Goldsboro. We came here last night, 12/10/17 around 7pm. Overall, we had a pleasant experience here and will definitely be back in the near future. 1. Service/ The service here was great and very professional. We were seated right away, and our server checked on us within minutes to take drink orders. She was constantly checking on us and making sure our drinks were refilled. The food took a little longer than we had expected, but she informed us that we fell behind a rather large party and she was constantly going back there to check on it. The reason why I can't knock off a star for that is because she kept us informed on the status of our order, and that it wasn't a fast food place so you can't really expect your food to instantly be ready. Anyway, the manager also checked on us, which is also a plus. When we were starting to slow down, the server automatically knew it was time to bring the take out boxes... I hate when you have to flag the server down to ask for a box and wait just as long as you waited for your food for them to bring a box lol. She also gave us drink refills to go, which was awesome. 2. Atmosphere/ Everything seemed great. Honestly no complaints here. 3. Food/ I had the brisket nachos as an appetizer, and it was delicious. The cheese was perfectly melted and the brisket was very tender. Tbh, the both of us were pretty full off of this and we didn't even finish it all. My family and I arrived here from our previous base in England. We were so excited to be able to eat in a real, American steakhouse again, just a couple minutes drive from the base! Our waiter was quick to bring us our drinks, bread and take our order. We ordered a porterhouse for 2 which was $39.99. It came with two really good sized salads (we got the cobb salad), two sides, a huge porterhouse steak with the steak sauce made table side, along with a head of roasted garlic. DELICIOUS. The multigrain bread was so good, our steak was cooked at a perfect medium, baked potato was yummy, steak sauce was divine and the garlic to top it off, perfection. I have to say the service was great tonight. We were here last week and the service was terrible. Tonight we came at 4 and food and service was great. Last week we were here at like 9pm. I know that was late and the manager compensated well for it, but I did not let the one night discourage us from coming back. Tonight I ordered the Shrimp and lobster chowder soup, it was awesome.
