First time at Logan's in a while. I was invited for a birthday dinner. Our party was seated right away and we had a very nice waiter. I ordered the Roadhouse Shrooms as an appetizer. The horseradish sauce was amazing! For my main I ordered the ribs, steak, salad, and brewski onions. Everything was delicious! I loved the ribs as they were perfectly cooked and fell right off the bone. The steak was great and paired nicely with the horseradish sauce. My husband and family and I had a nice time here! Our server was so attentive and nice. Something was missing from my entree, and he took it back to get it fixed right away. Not to sound like a total grandma, but I liked that the music wasn't overpowering. The food was good as well. I really liked the house chips; they had some good seasoning and were nice and crispy! In my photo it shows that we both had the grilled salmon. One had a little more char than the other which we both like so we split each steak in half. Both the ranch and honey mustard are made in house and tastes great. The first batch of rolls brought were not quite dark enough so the waitress bought more. The ones in the picture were perfect. I went with my friends to Logan's and found the food was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful and our waitress was there to refill waters or iced teas. We went around 6:30 in the evening and it was crowded. This place is a typical American experience. Looks like get in a movie! Love the vibe and the decoration. We visited twice and the service wasn't a great service: they bring the food and drinks fast but they are not so kind. Relate to food, you will not regret to be here: the bread they give by courtesy is unbelievable and the ribs are the best in Greensboro. I don't know why this place is getting 3 stars because every time we have been here it's been great. The steaks have always been cooked right and have been tender. The salad and dressing have been fresh. The broccoli is always cooked correctly and seasoned well and the yeast rolls are to die for! We went to Logan's for the first time in about a year and I can honestly say, "something needs to change" I ordered the 20 ounce ribeye cooked medium with baked potato a a salad. They brought out the salad and the ranch was so watered down it barely had any flavor. When they brought out the baked potato and steak my steak was cooked "well" and my baked potato was barely warm enough to melt the butter. The manager took the steak back and brought out another one and this was rare....when o server stopped back by the table (I must say he was a great server) he mentioned that it was more than likely the grill. They had repeated issues with what he called "priority orders" those steaks that were not cooked properly, and he felt that it wasn't the cook because the cook was great -and again stated that it must be the grill and that it might be time to replace it because it was old. The manager brought the new steak out and we were all very aware that It was rare...it had a decent looking outside but it was absolutely rare on the inside. At that point I was so disappointed that I considered just taking it home and "fixing" it myself at home. The manager offered to take it back and "watch" it on the grill herself. At this point my partner had almost finished their meal and I had yet to even be able to enjoy the main part of mine. When the steak was returned it looked better and was cooked to a more appropriate "medium" temperature. However, there was more fat than meat. Which if purchased in store isn't so bad but a restaurant that is a steakhouse this is a bit upsetting. We paid the bill (without even an offer for any type of percentage off for a future visit to entice us to return) and left the server a good tip. I will say that Logan's has truly fallen off from the steakhouse who seemed to always get it right in the past. Enjoyed my time at Logan's Roadhouse. I ordered the mesquite grilled chicken with wild rice, mashed potatoes, onions, and, of course, the ever popular yeast rolls. I dined at Logan's Friday night for the first time in a long time. I always get the ribs there as they're always good. We had to wait about 20 minutes to get a table which wasn't bad for a Friday night around 630. I ordered the ribs as always along with a baked potato with butter only and the potato soup instead of a salad. The ribs were great as usual however my potato came out loaded and I can't stand sour cream, however the waitress was quick to fix that issue. My potato soup was ok. It wasn't as good as it used to be and the bacon crumbles in it tasted like cheap bacon bits. My wife ordered the salmon and it was under cooked. Rather than sending it back because it was busy she boxed it up to bring home. I must say that the yeast rolls were huge as I've noticed Texas Roadhouse rolls seemed to have shrunk in size. I often avoid reviewing chains as most people probably know what to expect. But Logan's is one of those chains that I personally find varies a lot from location to location. With differences in anything from service to food prep, some are almost a different restaurant than others. I personally love Logan's mostly for the rolls and a good-sized beer when I'm feeling like indulging myself. The food at all of them is good to decent and pretty fairly priced in my opinion. This Greensboro Wendover location is pretty on par for the Logan's experience for me, especially the food. The rolls are hot and the beer is cold - both are plentiful. I prefer the burger to the steak as I think they do a more consistent job on burgers and it's pretty good here. I wish I could give 3.5 stars as I want to ding this location on hit and miss service. Sometimes I get everything I need and others I feel I need to flag someone down. There doesn't seem to be a consistent reason for it, and I actually think they do better when they are busy vs. a light day. I'm sticking with 4 stars as I clearly love going here anytime I want a little treat. read more

So we asked the service manager how much longer the wait was going to be and he said if we have a problem with the wait we can go somewhere else after we already waited 1 hour and half. After we preceded to get set and ordered our food the manager came over there and accused us of calling the people in the front a monkey, when that didn't happen. Why would we call someone a monkey when we have a diversity of people in our group. When it came to checkout the server accused us of ordering 3 chicken tenders plates and when we told him we only ordered 1 he told us we were going to have to pay for it because he wasn't. So with this information I will never be stepping a foot back in here nor will I recommend anyone to ever come here again. Best filet I've tried in this area. Seasoned really well and cooked well too. Ambience is what you'd expect I suppose? Similar to competitors at this price point. This was the first time in a long time we have been here. Still some of the best rolls out there. I ordered the cheese stick bacon burger. It was good. Not great but good. The wife ordered the grilled chicken and she said it was a little overcooked but it was still good. Our waitress was very nice and was quick with service. The restaurant was nice and clean and not busy at all. Only issue we had was the salad dressing looked off but we took the salad to go and will use our own dressing.
