We had Our 2 Grandkids (7, & 9) in the group, who can be shy most of the time. Because of all the Appointments we had today, I completely forgot that Texas Roadhouse had a Costumed Character. We didn't see them when we were inside the entrance, or when we got seated, though after we got our drinks, I looked up from the menu, after one of the grandkids had said Hello. I thought the server had returned to the table, looked over, & there was the Costumed Character. The best part was when both my Grandkids had gave him Hi fives, & moved along to the music while him, & the Texas Roadhouse Dancers/Servers were Dancing. Thank u.

She was so MIA I had to ask my husband had he seen her when 20 minutes passed without a sighting of her. She never dropped off our check so I finally just paid using the tablet. She only got a 20% tip because I was tired of waiting & didn't feel like calculating less. I told her we were celebrating our 39th anniversary & that barely got a congratulations. We won't be back. When we spend $70 with half of the meal not being worth $30 bucks, that's a sign they're not worthy of a return visit. Phyla should consider staying home when she's not in the mood to work. And her manager should consider having a chat with her amd the kitchen.

Since I had a wonderful experience last time I treated myself to another wonderful dinner. I was welcomed at the door with a friendly smile and seated in Malikai's section. What a sweet young man. Very attentive and really wanted to make sure I was happy. I ordered a beer ($3.49), great price. I ordered the sirloin & shrimp and picked a salad and baked potato as my sides. The salad came in a cold bowl and was fresh and crisp. The shrimp was seasoned very well and the baked potato had a salty outside and was served "all the way". So good. The meat was a little dry but that was probably my fault. I ordered a 6 oz and probably should have ordered it MR. The seasoning is was good but because it was a smaller cut, cooking it at medium dried it out a little. For my free dessert I got the chocolate cake with ice cream again. Now, this is way to much food for one person, so I ate the shrimp, all the salad and the ice cream. I brought home the steak, the potato and cake. Lunch for the next day. Yeah! Longhorn was warm and inviting. The restaurant was busy at 3 in the afternoon on a Saturday. I was welcomed by the manager who was so easy to talk to and who ended up making this an even better birthday by paying for my meal. Thank you Tonya. If you have not been to this Longhorn you are missing out on a very nice experience. Kudos and 5 stars all around. June 2026

They have a call-ahead feature that I used online as I was leaving to walk over, so I didn't have much of a wait. It was a busy place, so I think I would have had at least an hour wait otherwise. They gave me a pretty big booth, too and didn't make me wait for a smaller table. It was a nice and clean environment. The decor is western with skulls, artwork and leather. There were plenty of staff members, and they worked together to keep things running smoothly. My waiter was friendly and attentive. I got the filet mignon with a baked potato and a strawberry salad. I had iced tea here, and they even gave me one to take with me. The filet and the potato were so filling that I saved the salad for breakfast the next day. It was still very good. I did have some there at first. Then bread was provided too. Even though I am not fond of chains, Longhorn Steakhouse is one of the better ones.

Everything--from the atmosphere to the execution--is top tier. But what really sets you apart is your attention to detail and genuine care for your customers. Our waitress tonight, Kaila, was absolutely phenomenal. She picked up on something most people would overlook--I don't use straws--and brought my drink without one, without me even having to ask. That may seem small to some, but to me, that level of awareness and intentional service speaks volumes. It's those little things that create unforgettable experiences and separate good businesses from truly great ones. Kaila absolutely crushed it tonight, and it's clear your team is operating at a very high level. Keep doing what you're doing--you've built something special.

Large parking lot as the building sits in the front of a strip mall. Staff was very friendly. Service was very good but it was (maybe) 20% full on a Saturday night at 630. Marrakesh claims to be Mediterranean and they are somewhat correct. I consider Greek, Turkish, Italian to be more Mediterranean. OK, I'll give you Moroccan,, but no way Indian. India is in Asia. ( I know this sounds a little like bragging but I've eaten at many Greek & Turkish restaurants in my lifetime (high end to little, casual cafes), so for those who gave it 5 stars...they probably gave the Olive Garden 5 stars too) The menu is not big and has items from all the cuisines I mentioned above ( except Italy of course) The FOOD.... Apps --The Hummus was just pretty good. but the pita they served was dry like "store-bought". --The Grape Leaves (Rolled grape leaves stuffed with ground beef, parsley, and rice) were just OK too. --The Spanokopita; ( a Greek dish) a mixture of cooked spinach, feta cheese, and onion wrapped in phyllo dough.. was very good. Entrees --The Lamb Chops ( you get 4 of them) are the best bet here. Served with rice or salad. It may be the most expensive dish on the menu but well worth it. ( I did find it odd the server never asked how we wanted it cooked but they were juicy and delish) --I had the Three Meat Combo and choose three items: Chicken Tawook, Lamb, and Sheesh, served with rice and salad. All the meats were very dry. --Maqluba (Mediterranean rice casserole with a special blend of spices, chicken, cauliflower, carrots, and potatoes, served with salad) was tried by a few at our table. It's a huge portion of rice with stuff in it (it was very inexpensive at $16 but then again it was mostly rice) There was an item on the menu ( stuffed Cornish game hen) but they were sold out by 630pm on a Saturday night (odd). Desserts I found it odd that the menu only lists 2 desserts, yet when I asked there were approximately 5 more, including the currently popular Dubai chocolate cake or ice cream ( I forgot which but wish I chose it.) I'm glad I asked because our server never mentioned any specials. Warning: do NOT order the baklava. It was as dry as sand. Worst I ever had and I've had many. All in all the locals surely will like it because it is different and I doubt it has much competition. But if you are visiting and eat this type of food a lot back where you're from, buyer beware.

It's a rather large restaurant in a large strip mall. There's plenty of parking and different dining experiences. There's a sushi bar, a bar, hibachi, and the standard sushi dining area. Shogun is similar to a lot of restaurants in Jacksonville. Sometimes there's an "off" day. Every restaurant has those days. Shogun is no different. We've had great to below average times here. Today we enjoyed our meal. Today wasn't too busy so we were seated promptly. Our server provided our menus and took our drink order (water). We order the sushi for two. Comes with a variety of sushi, miso soup, and a side salad. The soup and salad was delivered after a short wait. As we finished our soup and salad our sushi plate with two small plates was delivered. The server poured our soy sauce. The food presented well. The quality and quantity were perfect for us. Our server was good and attentive filling our waters and removing used dishes as we dined. Our experience here today was very good. We enjoyed our meal and experience. If you've been on the fence about trying this restaurant, I recommend giving it a try. Its moody lighting and oriental decor really brings a nice ambiance to your meal. Our waitress was nice and made sure to check on us throughout the night. The food though is interesting..we ordered a katsudon (rice, omelet, fried cutlet) the egg was SOO salty!! It was brown from how much soy sauce(?) they drench it in and we had to scrape it off. The rice and fried cutlet itself is good but that omelet is abysmal. On the complete opposite hand, the meat inside our gyoza appetizer had no flavoring.. The sushi is great, easily the best part about this restaurant. I loved how crispy their deep fried sushi is, but with other great sushi spots around for better prices, it's not enough to return. Overall, a 3/5 experience.
