We arrived before the dinner rush and were greeted by our server who was rushing around after shift change and trying to get stuff done and to her other tables. She let us know she would be right with us. Super sweet girl, Kaylie, I believe. The food was good, the only thing I would say is the mushrooms could use a little more seasoning. The girl that brought our drinks, nice. The guy that brought our food, awesome. We enjoyed it. With a few tweaks, it could have been 5 star but it was pretty close! Probably give it 4 and a half. Need more servers like Kaylie, she's an asset to that place, no doubt. read more

Friends came down from Maryland and we wanted to meet up and eat at Logan's. They already had their name down for a group of nine by the time we got there. Of course Logan's was busy with it being around 7, so we waited along with everyone else. The food is good...when you FINALLY get it it...and IF it's cooked correctly and all there. The management is the worst. The man I've seen a few times is much more interested in flirting with the MUCH younger waitstaff. This causes a trickle down effect bc from other managers to the waiters/waitresses and the hosts, NONE of the care the least little bit. An overhaul is truly needed. If there weren't just a Cracker Barrell and Ruby Tuesday within a 5 mile radius, we would've given up LONG ago. Tonight we tried for to go. My mother called first and we were seriously asked how we'd like the chicken tenders cooked. UM WELL!!! Then after explaining multiple times that we were trying to order ADULT MEALS & NOT kids plates, we asked to speak to a manager. We were hung up on. I called back & spoke to a manager to place the order. Now, I've been sitting here for 15 minutes over time manager told me to be here & one of plates isn't ready. So, 2 plates are getting cold but the waitress decided to run my credit card before checking on the food. Oh and asked me to sign it too! If you have all night to wait & don't mind eating at different times, the food is decent. And if you're eating in, be prepared to be thirsty all night and most likely they'll treat you as if you're a burden. Otherwise, go somewhere else. I know I'll drive further from now on. Update as I've tasted the food. The adult order of chicken was good which I gave to my nephew. His chicken tenders were larger than normal & burned on outside but slimy on the inside. First, this review is for Logans of Moody Al. My wife and I ate lunch at approximately 2 PM on 7-13-18. She ordered the soup and half club and I ordered the salad and half club. The salad was very good but everything else was terrible. Her soup had small pieces of some kind meat which she couldn't chew. The clubs had bacon which was entirely fat and cooked only about 50%. The thin slices of ham had a smell similar to beginning spoilage. I've always had good food and service at another Logans in Birmingham but this is the second problem I've had at the Moody location. I did not complain at the time because I didn't want to look like I was attempting to get a freeby. I'm writing the Moody location off. read more

Came in at 4:45pm. Many of the steaks on the menu were unavailable because they simply didn't have them. You get that, a steak restaurant with no steaks. Waitress was inattentive. Stinky experience. Really, horrible. read more

It isn't very good. I don't think I've ever come to this location without something being wrong. That being said, if you want to get really hammered for $8, order the Long Island Tea flight. It takes 20 minutes to get to your table, but after drinking about half, you'll forget all about your annoyance. read more

If it was possible to give a negative in the star category this restaurant surely deserves it. Order the Onion Brewski rare with steamed brocolli, loaded baked potato, and grilled mushrooms to go. (Note: I stay less than five minutes away from the restaurant.) Needless to say the highlight out of the entire meal was the grilled mushroom. The steak was served warm without any type of seasoning whatsoever. I had to scrape my pile of fried onions (which were soggy) to the side just to try to doctor up the steak with some salt and pepper. The brocolli had no seasoning to as well and was limp. My yeast rolls were even half cooked and felt like I was eating a pile of dough. Very dissapointed! read more

We were reluctant to go here after reading the reviews but we were staying at a hotel within walking distance and after 9 hours in the car didn't want to drive anymore. We had low expectations but actually had a good experience. The service was quick, efficient and friendly. The food was good,not great but I never expect great food at a chain restaurant. Our steaks came out quickly and were cooked as requested. The only negative was way too much dressing on the Caesar salad, I'd suggest getting the house salad with dressing on the side. read more

We've been there 3 times in the last few months. All three times we've had to wait a really long time for our food. They don't bring all of the food out at the same time. They'll bring out a couple of orders and then it could be up to ten minutes before the rest come out. So, either part of the table is eating while everyone else watches or we just sit there looking at our food and letting it get cold until everyone is served. They almost always under cook the steak and last time they left the cheese off of my nephew's CHEESEburger. We live in Leeds but I have no problem heading over to Trussville to eat somewhere else. read more

Wow, where to start! Monday night, we walked in at 5pm. Our server was the absolute worst and no excuse as place only had about 8 full tables. Placed an an order for four drafts and a kids drinks with h20 around. 16 minutes later server comes by to tell us "no draft on said beer". We order bottles, he forgets my sons drink so we went to bar. At same time he brings 4 beers, no h20. We place food order, he still forgets my salad, brings rolls after salad. We finally complain to bald guy at host station. Got served mediocre food at 5:49. No comps, no checking on us, for a $75. bill. When we arrived another customer was irate as same server had neglected to bring him the bill, which should have been a clue to walk out. Seriously Logans, ramp up your training and management. This location should be shut down! I gave it one star because zero wasn't available. I ate here last week and had a horrible experience. First off I ordered sweet tea with lemon. After my 2nd refill I felt something on my tongue thinking it was a piece if lemon. Wrong! It was a bug, not a fly or a roach, but maybe an outside bug of some kind. I was so sickened I wasn't going to eat at all but decided to take a bite of my filet. Immediately it tasted burnt and when the juices hit the back of my palate I knew it was spoiled. So horrible I spit it out. I lifted that steak up to smell it and before it reached my nose all I could smell was rotten meat! It was the most horrible smell! Like a decaying dead animal. Whoever cooked it had to of smelled it. The manager refused to come to our table because "she had already comped our meal because of the bug, what else do we want.". Service is hit or miss. Food is about what you would expect, but it's the service that gets the low rating. We went one time and waited 20 minutes without even being spoken to, while servers and managers stood around talking. We tried them again several months later, and the service was okay. Not spectacular, but average. Another trip, and we left before we were served once again. If you feel like gambling, go for it. If not, go elsewhere. read more

All rite first off I love logans, I've been too multiple locations in my travels for work. This has been bye far the worst logans I have been too. My coworker and I ordered water a beer and a cocktail and it took them 15 minutes to bring my water and then an additional 5 for our drinks. So after the drinks arrived we were there for 54 minutes before our steaks arrived. Our steaks were over cooked and our sides were cold and we reordered our drinks and it took so long we canceled the drinks because we were done eating. Really pleasantly surprised by this place. Service was excellent, atmosphere was well designed and casual. We were a group of raucous but polite guys and our server dealt with our mediocre behavior with a genuine smile and enjoyed joking with us while at the same time getting every single order correct and making sure we were without want. Food was well executed and quite tasty, about what I would expect from a casual steakhouse with pride. They even put the supercross race on multiple TV's so we could all watch it comfortably. Not one person in our party had a single issue or complaint about anything. I dunno what all these other mudslingers are talking about with their less than great reviews of this place. read more

We just ate at this Logan's after a grueling drive from Tampa through the snow. Server was ok, if a bit slow. Both our meals were barely lukewarm, but, oh, well. I asked for a glass of red wine that wasn't there by the time I finished, so I asked her to take it off the bill. It was ready, so I took it and said ok. Not being one to ever turn down a glass of wine, let me say it was bad, so I sent it back. You know how red wine tastes when it starts to go bad? That was it. We've been to this Logan's twice in the past few months mainly because there aren't any other steak places (Outback, Texas Roadhouse, etc) less than 10-15 miles away (Trussville). The food is OK but not stellar. Service is about the same. While their servers are friendly, if the Logan's corporate people would stage a training day with the employees on customer service, up-selling, and just general upbeat attitudes, it would be a good investment for them. Plenty of TVs around if you want to sit around and watch the game. Haven't tried any of their cocktails so I can't comment on their bartenders. Just a few "tweaks" to food and service and this place could easily earn another star or two. read more

I was contacted by the Manager at Logan's steakhouse here in Moody. We have had problems getting our orders done correctly the last two or three times we were there. So they invited us to come back at their expense and have dinner. The experience we had this time was absolutely phenomenal. I had ribeye steak and it was one of the best I've ever eaten. Logan went over and above to make sure we were satisfied. I will be returning to this Logan in the future. Thank you Logan's for going extra mile. read more

I'll give a two. I've been here several times. And only had two problems but they were bad ones. One time I went and it took forever to get the food and it was like ice. When my previous co-workers and I get together we go to Logan's. My husband and I also have our date nights here. It's a little pricey but it's definitely worth it! The service is always exceptional, the food is fresh and delicious. I would definitely prefer this location to other locations. read more

Have eaten here twice before. Good restaurant/bar food. One complaint- they have a terrible host. He does not greet customers. Takes off with menus without talking with customers. I thought it was s one off, but saw him behave this way with several people. He the went in the back and brought out a roll and drink to work on while standing at the host booth. I normally wouldn't care about this, but the behavior was ridiculous. Management should check into this. Not a good example of customer service, and it is the first impression. When we walked in there was so much chaos going on that we completely missed the hostess. So we stood at the podium for a few minutes before someone realized we were waiting. Got seated and got our drinks. Then we waited for almost 10 minutes to order our food. Our daughter asked for peanuts and our waitress said she would bring some. Another 10 minutes passed and we had to flag her down for refills and for my wife's salad and asked for bread. She then brings out two salads when we only ordered one and still NO peanuts. Our daughter finally got up and got us some off of the bar. My wife was barely finished with her salad and our food came out....with NO bread. My wife then cuts into her steak (which she asked for medium) and its almost well done. At this point a manager comes by and asked how things were. We told her the steak was over cooked and we were still waiting on bread. She offered us a coupon and said she would be right back with our bread. She brought it to us and apologized. The waitress then came up and apologized as well. We finished our food and she brought us our ticket. Not once did she ask if we wanted desert...even though my wife was looking at the desert menu when she set the ticket down. They never gave us a coupon but they did take $5.00 off of our ticket. Every time we come here we have horrible service and the food is always wrong in some fashion. We keep hoping for the best since we dont go there all that often. Food is pretty good considering it to be a "chain". Service is usually good. Beware arriving after around 7:30 p.m. as they will begin to sweep and turn chairs upside down while you are trying to eat your meal and stir dust up (remember the peanut shells - some still end up on the floor) in an effort for the employees to leave ASAP upon closing. Very inconsiderate - especially since you don't get a discounted meal after 7:30 - so shouldn't your dining experience be the same as any other time. read more

Not very satisfied at all with the food or service. The service was terrible and the filet mignon I had was charred badly and we had to remind our waiter three times about drinks/refills. Please teach them the proper way to grill a steak and when there's only 3 tables in your waiters area at 10:30 pm I'd expect service to be the least of the problem. read more

I've visited this restaurant a couple times in recent years after spending a day at Barber Motorsports. This recent visit was the worse one yet. Not only were 4 out of the 5 steaks ordered by our group overcooked we also had a friendly visit by a 2" roach. It climbed the wall right behind out table and after alerting the staff they came out with a broom to knock it down. Unfortunately the roach was faster than the staff and after a few minutes managed to scurry up the wall to the ceiling. The food didn't come together, an extra filet was delivered to our table in error, fries were not delivered until the end of the meal. Given past experience and this recent visit we will not be going back. The server did a decent job handling her other tables as well as our 9 person table. Although we never saw the manager he apparently discounted a couple of the tickets for the overcooked steaks. Disappointing as I've had much better experience at other Logan's before. read more
