This place is trash. The restaurant is dirty and dirty water on the floor leaking from god knows where that you had to walk thru to get to the table. They put us in a room with no other customers away from the main restaurant area. The customer service was pathetic. We waited a hour and a half for our entrees. The pasta was cold with shrimp you couldn't chew. The sides were old and hard. The steak was a gray green color that had to be rotten. The so called manager was a rude pos. You know, I have to give this place some serious credit. Go ahead and enjoy the peanuts on the table and throw the shells on the floor. (That's part of the schtick.) Once you actually dig into this menu, you'll find that the food here is pretty good. I mean, sure, it's a national chain. Sure, it's plagued with marketing scripts and over-arching corporate control. But get your mind off that, and you'll realize that these folks serve up some decent meat. Vegetarians beware. They serve all the major meat groups, here: steak, burgers, ribs, chicken, and the occasional seafood. Crowd-pleasers as far as they eye can see. And the yeast rolls are a complete and total exercise in decadence. You're going to love them. Service was relatively quick and unobtrusive. This was my first visit and was not impressed at all. I had the fried cheese burger with bacon, medium rare. I was very surprised to get a giant round hunk of fried "yellow cheese"? Not a problem as I removed my error and moved on. The burger was nothing special but with the description, I was expecting something much better. Medium rare came out well and dry. The server was very good, but the food, not worth a return trip. I usually take pictures if my food to post but the plate was not worthily of a picture. We have been to this location a number of times. Tonight, we were going to head to Texas Roadhouse instead, but we were refused service there because of our family of 8. Texas Roadhouse said we would have to make 2 separate reservations and no guarantee we would be seated together. So we took our family that is too large for Texas Roadhouse in McDonough to handle to Logan's instead. This location has some of the best servers we have ever experienced! Coupons are widely available ($3 off, etc.) which helps a little, though prices aren't bad; lots of choices at $8-$16 range. Can be very busy at dinner time. THERE'S AN UP CHARGE FOR TAKEOUT!!! I was shocked to see a material up charge when I walked into the restaurant to place a TO GO order. If my guest and I had taken a seat in the restaurant and ordered dinner, we would have saved about $10-$15!!! It was late, so we went ahead and accepted the order. I would not have noticed this if I had not picked up a regular menu to review while we were waiting!! I happened to hear the total given to my guest and I said, that charge is not correct. The employee said, "there's a different price for takeout" (OMG!!!). Who Else is doing that??!!! Needless to say, that will be my last takeout or visit to LOGAN'S. Soooo Mathew was our waiter and he did a really good job. The drinks were good,the rolls well hot and fresh. The reason for the 3 stars is because it seems as if the steak was frozen and reheated. Something has happened here. It used to be the best steak house around. Tonight we went there and I ordered a fillet mignon . I asked for it to be well done. It came to the table with the well tag and bleeding all over my plate. I sent it back and asked for it to be well done. Again it came to the table med rare. Again I told them well done please. 3rd time it came out it was still very pink. I finally just gave up. My family had already finished their meal. So I just told the waitress never mind.she said the manager was coming. But no manager ever came. Guess losing another customer is not important to the managers at Mcdonagh Georgia Logans. I was so upset when we left. I would have loved to eat dinner with the family. But came home and ate left overs. Next time we are going to one of the other steak houses. The parking lot will be crowded. Do not be fooled. The food was pretty sub-par. I had grilled chicken and broccoli. Chicken was rubbery, broccoli was somehow rubbery as well. Tasted like frozen and then roasted. My 12-year-old had the 8-oz sirloin. She loves steak and is not picky. She said it was like warm beef jerky. We eat here about once a month. We really like the American Roadhouse Specialty meal deal. Last night, I got my chopped steak with a very nice salad (always crisp and fresh) and very cheesy Mac and cheese. My husband got the open-face roast beef that was heaped with roast beef and gravy. He said it was so good. As was mine. Service was great. We were seated immediately and our server was right there to get our drink orders and bring us fresh, hot buttered rolls. Our meals came out within a few minutes. The server came back several times to check on us. And the manager even stopped to see if everything was OK. We were talking about how we don't think we've ever had a bad experience at our Logan's. Now, that's rare. read more

1/5/20 My family and I reserved the Garage for 42 people, Brittany was our server and she did an excellent job. We were concerned when she said she was the only server for the group. Brittany was an excellent server as a matter of fact everyone in our group was served in a timely manner and no one had any issues with their meals. Our beverages were constantly refilled before we could ask. My husband and I usually ask for Brittany and knew she is an excellent server but she totally exceeded our expectations. I should've taken a queue that things were not going to be good when received our food so fast.
