Just had dinner with my fiance at this Logan's Roadhouse restaurant in Spanish fort Alabama. The server Steven was unprofessional, wasn't focused on his customer, look like he was sleepwalking. We order grilled shrimp and salmon over a bed of rice. The rice was cold and hard! Cold, hard, and old! We drove here from Pensacola Florida. Logan's was one of our favorite restaurants in pensacola. On Dec 31, 2025 I ordered dinner for two with a coupon for ten dollars off I had from using Instacart. My son ordered a hamburger with loaded baked potato and I got a small steak that came with two sides, I selected sweet potato casserole and French onion soup. The meal was just over 60.00 even with the ten dollars off discount. The steak was tiny and tuff as shoe leather, in fact I considered repairing my boot sole with it. The French onion soup was ( I measured, 3 ounces lol) that's not even 1/2 cup. It was ok because it was not tasty and although I basically live across the road from the restaurant it was cold and I threw it out, it lacked any characteristics of the classic dish. FYI a normal individual serving of soup is 8 to 10 ounces. The sweet potato casserole was pure sugar, I have to admit it tasted ok, but I wouldn't have intentionally ordered dessert for dindin. Now for my son's burger, the bun was hard as a brick! We threw it out and I put his meal on a brioche bun I had at home. The " loaded baked potato wasn't very well baked and certainly not loaded but I was left wondering if maybe the kitchen staff were baked and loaded. Overall, this experience was good. Came here to have dinner with a family of five. Restrooms were nice and clean and the restaurant wasn't too busy. Sadly, when our food arrived, the giant entree salad was missing the dressing ... any dressing. We called Logan's and, after a brief wait, spoke with the manager. JD explained the process for getting a correction through DoorDash, then paused and said, "you're right across the street?" Yes. "I will bring you the dressing." And he did! I ordered via Door Dash from Ember's Smokehouse which is a ghost kitchen for Logan's. I ordered one pound of Shack Baby Backs with Smokehouse Corn and Baked Beans. The baby backs were fall off the bone delicious. The smokehouse corn was delicious as well. But the baked beans were alright at best. They need to add some onion, garlic, and some pulled pork to them to take em up several notches. Why minus two stars? I'm so glad you asked. Minus one star for the blah baked beans. Minus one star because I'm in a hotel, I ordered via Door Dash, and Logan's didn't include any utensils or napkins. Come on Man !!! Having to eat beans and corn with your fingers isn't right !!! However, I'm not gonna eat any of them because they are rubbery. They are not fully cooked. The dough is very stiff And dry. My second visit here. A solid steakhouse, family friendly, easy going atmosphere. Not a high end romantic place but just a good steakhouse. Ranch dressing is good too. In fact I thought several times our server's shift ended or she quit because. of how long she would disappear for... I'm not just saying that - that is really true! Poof! Gone! Timewarped into another dimension or the Bermuda Triangle got her or something! We were held hostage to terrible service and for her to bring the bill, take our card, bring it back - and they WERN'T BUSY! Just a lot of WAITING for no good reason!
