I recently decided to make a switch from Chase to a credit union. I researched a couple of credit unions that I had been a member of years ago as well as a few in my area. I was looking for a credit union that great rates and excellent customer service. Yesterday I decided to join one of my old credit unions. It was more of a go with what you know situation. Fortunately I spoke to a friend before I did so who suggested that I check out Logix. I am glad that she did. I researched Logix beforehand and was impressed by the ease of their website, their hours of operations, their rates and the number of excellent reviews here on yelp. I went to the Pasadena location and was pleased by the free reserved bank parking (parking in Pasadena can be a pain) and the overall look inside the branch it. I was greeted by Anne, who came around from her desk to shake my hand and introduce herself. Once I told her why I was there she introduced me to Natalie Worsham who would help set up my account. Natalie was wonderful and really sweet. She made signing up easy and fun. I walked out with temporary checks and a debit card within an hour. One of my main reasons for joining the credit union was to take advantage of their low loan rates and consolidate credit card debt. Natalie quickly pulled my credit report and began discussing options that would be beneficial for me. Unfortunately she had an appointment waiting (I was a walk-in) but I was able to schedule an appointment first thing Monday morning. I was also able to utilize the coupon on their yelp page to get extra cash in my account ($150 in $50 increments for doing certain steps...the first $50 is already in my account!). I am very excited about becoming a member at Logix and can't wait to utilize their products and services. read more

Honestly, I have never received such attentive, considerate service from a bank in my entire life! After moving from the UK I had a long period of waiting around for the necessary documents & permits etc in order to open a bank account. After a brief misunderstanding regarding the documents I had, I was unable to open an account the first time I tried so I left disappointed. As a gesture of goodwill & by way of an apology for the misunderstanding, Logix credited my husband's account with $25 on my behalf. When I had the documents I needed, I went back & they opened my account right away, helped me with all of the questions I had & sent me on my way happy & confident that I had chosen the right bank for me. A couple of days later, I received a handwritten note from Chris, the gentleman who assisted me both times, thanking me for choosing Logix & congratulating me on my move to the USA & wishing me well, which I really appreciated. This treatment really went a very long way in assuring me that the staff at the Pasadena branch of Logix really care about their customers. What a pleasant surprise! read more

Yesterday afternoon (8/20/16), I went to the Pasadena branch looking to withdraw four rolls of quarters from my account. My teller, Jason Teng kindly shared that many people had come in to withdraw quarters and that he was unsure of your supply; but that he would have someone check to see if there were any in your vault. While waiting, Jason said to me "If we don't have quarters, I'll be happy to take your money to the Wells Fargo up the street to get you quarters." Standing in disbelief as I contemplated generous offer, I heard another teller state that the branch was in fact out of quarters. Jason again extended his offer which I gladly accepted. He processed my withdrawal, then he and I stepped outside and walked the city block to Wells Fargo. Along the way, he shared that he is a new grad and his aspiration for a career in finance. Once in Wells Fargo, he kindly withdrew the quarters and we made our way back to the bank where I again thanked him and congratulated him for his kind gesture. I'm writing this in hopes it reaches his manager Drew Barrett (sp?) to highlight not only a superb example of customer service, but a true gesture of human kindness. I rarely leave Yelp reviews, but I was so blown away by the service my husband and I received today at Logix that I felt absolutely compelled. I first noticed all of the 5 star reviews for Logix over a year ago, but finally decided to visit a branch for the first time today. Chris was amazing and he helped us open 2 new accounts, as well as refinance our car at an incredibly low interest rate, saving us a significant sum of money each month. I have been with Logix for almost 20 years, and have always loved it. But, today I got a taste of what I have been avoiding since I started using using credit unions, the cold indifferent bank type of treatment. My son turned 14 and I thought it would be a great experience for him to go to his credit union (he has had a savings since he was a baby) and open his first checking account. He has a little pt job. We drove to the Pasadena branch, that is the closest to where we live, we live about 15 miles east. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the receptionist. She was very nice. I told her why we were there and she said great, unfortunately we have some appointments coming in. But, we can fit him in at 3pm, it was 1pm! I explained that we didn't live in the immediate area and it wouldn't be convenient to wait 2 hours. By the way, there was one other customer in the branch. She said I could do it online. I told her that I read their website and for a teen account we have to come in. She made a couple of phone calls and then confirmed what I said. She offered to schedule an appointment for us on a different day. I let her know that he was starting school and sports, so this was the best day for us. She said she was sorry. I said well that's too bad. I guess we will have to look at a different credit union. She ok, sorry. Now this was upsetting on multiple levels. 1st: This was my sons first impression of a credit union...his credit union! 2nd: you have an empty office and can't open 1 small account?! 3rd: members are the reason credit unions stay in business. Are you so big that you can turn away a new account? 4th: when I say I will have to look at other credit unions your first response should not be "sorry"! I worked for credit unions for over 15 years. Before my son was born. This would never have been tolerated. Credit unions sell customer service, service to their owners (us the member), loyalty, exclusivity. At least that's what Lockheed Federal Credit Union was! Sadly, that is not what Logix is for us today. read more

Recently switched to Logix and must say that their customer service is outstanding. I couldn't be happier leaving the Logix branch after opening an account with Liliana. She helped me with everything I could ask for, even things I didn't even think of myself. Opening the account was quick and easy as can be and not to mention the follow ups afterwards. I have been with this credit union for over twenty-five years, and they just keep getting better. They have good rates and low service charges, but what is amazing is the customer service. The Pasadena branch of Logix is by far the best credit union in the area. The staff is always friendly and professional. A couple of employees (who shall remain nameless!) always go out of their way to engage in friendly conversation. While banking can be a real drag it is always a pleasant experience when I go to Logix. I don't have a lot of money on deposit, but they always treat me like I do!!! read more
