Great place for the kids... Cleanliness: Place seems very clean and even smells clean. Bins for toppings were neat and tidy. The rims around the refrigerated items where wiped down and clean. Seating area: (Outside and Inside) Plenty of seating for families and large groups of people. Table and chairs and couches on the inside with typical outdoor seating with tables outside. Toppings: Lots of toppings to choose from including candy bars, bobba, fresh fruit, cookies, sprinkles, candy of all sorts, and all he basic yogurt toppings. Service: The service is perfect. I was impressed that when I asked for an ingredients sheet in the frozen yogurt the young lady was quick to pull it out of a notebook and assist me with finding something for my daughter! AWESOME! We stopped here at Lily's yogurt for the first time on Saturday, Nov. 28 at 8:50PM. We did see the hours on the door which stated they closed at 9pm. We were a party of four, and we were passing through on our way back down to Los Angeles. So, first of all...the yogurt. The variety of flavors was above average and the taste was delicious. The selection of toppings was awesome. Second, and the reason for the drastic reduction in stars was the service. So, I am incredibly respectful of service employees and being cautious about allowing them to do there job to the best of there ability; however, it works both ways. You also need to be respectful to your customers. We got our yogurt and we sat down at a small table that was sitting alone near the front window. We figured that the employee likely wanted to probably do some cleaning, so we decided to stay clear of the main seating area. We were going to stay until we finished eating which would had probably been 9:20PM or until we thought we would have been in the way of her closing. Well at 9:10PM we were told to leave. That was kind of uncalled for. She said "You will have to leave, as I have to clean the restaurant". The interesting thing is that she had a whole restaurant that could have been cleaned before she got to our little tiny area; however, she wanted us out before she even started at all. She didn't even bother to empty the trash before she kicked us out. I would have expected a bit more hospitality, and certainly with the wide variety of frozen yogurt places out there, I wouldn't return here again. read more

Love their original Tart yogurt. It's sour and refreshing. There's just a hint of sweetness in it that balances off the sour taste. I also like the idea of self-serve yogurt. They have a variety of toppings to choose from: fruits, bobba poppers, chocolate, sprinkles, syrup, etc. Name it and, most likely, they have it. The buy 1 get 1 at 50% off is such a good deal! The Thai iced tea tasted cery authentic. We were expecting the bobba to be more 'al dente' but it was still good. The Taro smoothie tasted good. You can really taste the taro flavor. Went there with my family, my kids loved the frozen yogurt flavors, we like how they change it to meet the season, now they are serving pumpkin yummmmmmy ! We tried the Acai bowl they added recently to their menu and it is to die for, ALL Fruits blended in NO ICE included in the ingredients, the flavor is pure and make it your own way with different choices and it is only $8.99. The worst boba I've had in my entire life. The milk tea boba was not flavorful at all and the boba was hard. On top of that I have seen ownership be rude to their employees and also to their guests with animals. I have a service animal and they still gave me a hard time--second time I came in the employee was a little nicer and stated that they only allow service animals inside which I replied with a yes he is a service animal. However they might want to take note on how other businesses in the area operate. When I go to Spearhead Coffee with my service dog they kindly greet us, let us make an order and then kindly let us know of their pet policy and to please wait outside if we fall under that guideline. Turing away guests simply because they have an animal with them just doesn't seem very guest service or business friendly to me--and it's definitely not very Paso either. Most business around here are very animal friendly regardless of that animal's relationship to their owner. read more

Not sure where to start. There's a reason why there were lines out the door for the nearby Cold Stone Creamery and Negranti Creamery and no one in this place. My immediate reaction upon opening the door of LOL Yogurt was that Satan's breath had entered. It was a nice 85-ish degree evening with a pleasant breeze outside, but as soon as we opened the door to this business, we were first hit with a wall of heat and then the smell.. the odor. What is that? It had to be at least 90 degrees inside. No exaggeration. I Immediately did not want to get any frozen treat from a place that smelled of rotten dairy. I couldn't deprive my 5 year old of the treat we'd promised him especially as he'd already grabbed a cup, from right next to where the employee stood dumping the trash, while simultaneously restocking the frozen yogurt cups. Two of the yogurt flavors were out of order, but what was more unappealing was the black plastic trash bad that was hastily wrapped over the machine telling the user to steer clear. The toppings... These must be a violation against any public health/OSHA standard. The "fresh" fruit was not on any ice or refrigerated in any way. The dry toppings were mostly sprinkled all over the counter and the containers were open for any little hands to reach right into. The two young ladies who were working tonight looked barely old enough to be employed legally, neither of which were wearing a mask or gloves (I get it, masks are optional at this point, but when you're handling edibles for the public, isn't there an unsaid rule?). To top it off, the girl who rung our order up wiped sweat from her brow and ran her hands through her hair, before taking my credit card. She actually used tongs to pick up our to go spoon, so there's that. read more

What a wonderful surprise in downtown Paso Robles. We stopped here at the Downtown park on the way to Santa Barbara. We stop in Paso Robles every now and then, and always crave icecream or yogurt. there is Powell's Sweet Shoppe which has wonderful gelato, but this place is all about yogurt. You pay per oz, I think it's 43c per oz. They have lots of flavors and the yogurt is yummy and fresh. not too sweet and doesn't have an artificial flavor. I would say it's even better than Yogurtland. very unique flavors too, not the typical vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. They also gave me a 10% for the next time. read more

Finally - a place that has good boba in Paso Robles!! They have the usual flavored, pre-sweetened tea mixes that you can order with boba (which I tend to avoid because they seem so sweet to me - but I haven't tried any here yet, so I'll have to at least try one next time). But they also have plain, unsweetened brewed green or black tea that you can get with boba. Perfect! And the boba has that perfect soft, chewy texture - not grainy or hard like some of the other places end up with. The lady behind the counter was really nice too - she made sure I knew that the green tea could seem a little bitter if I didn't put any sweetener in it, which I appreciated. But it was fairly smooth and tasted just fine to me. She also recommended that I might want to try the green tea with boba with just a little of their passion fruit flavor added next time. Passed by this place and had a hankering for Boba tea, which I got in a watermelon green base. It was awful, sickly syrupy sweet with an artificial watermelon flavor, and the boba were not especially impressive either--the consistency weird. Though I got a large size, I ended up throwing it away, it truly was undrinkable. I did, though, get samples of their frozen yogurt, specifically the banana flavor, and it rocked, creamy and fresh tasting. I didn't get the yogurt because I wouldn't have been able to digest it (lactose issues), and my husband also liked his pistachio sample. The verdict: awesome frozen yogurt but awful Boba. As me and my bf drove by it caught my eye because I was wanting a smoothie. We go in and the place looks decent for the prices they advertise on their menu. I ordered a simple strawberry smoothie and was looking forward to my fruity deliciousness. When I saw it, it was all a pink color. Ok? What did I order? So I tasted it and it tastes exactly like Nestles Nesquik strawberry flavored milk in a slushy form. Did I order Nesquik? I could have done this at home and added crushed ice. My bf ordered a mango blueberry smoothie and it was not drinkable, it taste like a disaster. I had high hopes for this place just by the looks of it, but I was wrong. The smoothies are not made with real fruit, just flavored syrups. Prices are not matching with the quality of their products. The only thing that is fancy is their cup sealer. They now serve Le Waf! A uniquely made waffle that we thought we would only ever get when we go to NYC. Guys, these are some serious waffles.
