My beverage was very decently priced. This is one of the main reasons I returned to sunroom. - In addition, the staff was very accommodating. Such an interesting concept for a coffee shop, as it's attached to a church and everyone working here is a volunteer, with the exception of the two managers. The inside is wonderfully decorated, with a very bohemian and relaxing vibe. It's a nice big open space with plenty of indoor seating and an adorable high top bar area. Their menu has lots of great coffee, tea, boba and smoothie options! I ordered the peanut butter, chocolate protein smoothie and oh my gosh was it absolutely delicious! Probably one of the best smoothies I've ever had from a coffee shop or restaurant. It was creamy and the consistency was just perfect, not too thin or watery. I highly, highly recommend this smoothie! The young woman that took my order is one of the managers and was so pleasant and lovely! This is my favorite coffee shop in north county and I love that it's a nonprofit. I haven't tried the December holiday drinks yet, but the holiday scones are AMAZING. The sunroom cider was also delicious during Thanksgiving. They offer gluten-free scones too that are melt in your mouth good. A lot of the staff are volunteers and they are truly welcoming, friendly, and kind. I also love how big the space is! Lots of space to study, bring a coffee date, or meet friends. The Christmas decor is cute right now too. They are near the high school and cater to students, so some drinks are too sweet for me. Just noting this for people like me :) Take this into consideration when ordering and talk to the barista first because there are plenty of less sweet options. There is an unsweetened, organic matcha offered that is delicious. Also, the coffee is brewed locally and is so tasty. Lattes, espresso, and Americanos are also good for those like me who prefer less sweet drinks. Or I'll get the mocha with an add shot when I am in the mood for the sweeter drink (their mochas are the BEST in town). read more

I love Sunroom Coffee! It's a great place to go when you are having a meeting. It's very spacious inside and the décor is adorable. I love that they have a special spot where they retail secondhand items. I enjoy their matcha latte because it tastes like Lucky Charms. They also have pastries available for purchase. What a bright, spacious, lovely new addition to Atascadero! From the friendly faces at the register, the positive attitude of the baristas, to the kick of the velvety espresso beverages, I'm a huge fan! The vibe is so fun and chill. This place is an absolute GEM. I own a business so I'm always searching for a great spot to sit and answer a few emails while I sip some coffee. But like, the coffee has to be GOOD and the internet has to be GOOD and the vibes have to be GOOOOOOD. Well, Sunroom has it all. The staff is always really friendly and cheerful. The space and ambiance are clean, pleasant, and serene. I love how light and fresh it always feels inside. The coffee is fabulous - and I've tried lots of their different options. They offer the alternative milks and flavorings I like and their espresso is perfectly processed. They have Taste Test Thursdays, where you can try a sampling of one of their new drinks (and they're always innovating and creating). I've never ever had an issue with slow internet and I can always find a good seat because they have plenty of tables. It's easy to get to off the highway (both north and south) AND they have a tonnnn of parking! A++ experience. This may not apply if you're just looking for a good coffee shop, but Sunroom also hosts unique workshops and music events. I've attended a couple with my kids and the staff is always fantastic and we always learn/make something cool! We've done a skateboard workshop, a music workshop, and a seaglass jewelry workshop so far. read more
