Lola's is a place you need to go to. They look like they love what they are doing! They put out a great product. We had the Grilled Cheese (3 different cheeses), French onion soup and the Yardbird sandwich. We also had the homemade potato chips too. My wife said it was the best grilled cheese she has ever had! The French onion soup was perfect. The Yardbird sandwich is huge! Grilled chicken on a fresh bun with bacon, cheese, lettuce, onions and tomatoes. You will have a hard time eating it all! The waitress was kind enough to find the Texas Longhorns (Football) on the TV when I requested it. There is plenty of things to see on the walls and the place is decorated great. When you find yourself in Tyler, Texas, give those chains a break. Go to Lola's and get Full

After ordering at the counter, they make your food and bring it to you. The seating area has half booth half table and the only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because we prefer full booths. The small metal chairs are uncomfortable for us. I had the turkey avocado bacon. It was yummy and huge. My husband had the Ruben which she couldn't even finish so we're taking it home. The service was great. There was not a lot of people here this late in the afternoon. We came at 4:00. Homemade chips and specialty drinks a plus.

Eggs over Texas and a mimosa

Excellent brunch! My husband brought me here yesterday for my birthday and we loved it! They were still serving brunch so we each tried the Eggs a la Texas. It was delicious and cooked perfectly! The biscuit had the perfect crunch on the edges and those breakfast potatoes...wow! So so good!! My mimosa was really good and my husband got a Bloody Mary that he said was one of the best he's ever tasted. We can't wait til our next trip to Tyler to try out some on the sandwiches or the French onion soup

Lola's is another one of those accidental finds that turned out to be a treasure! We were looking for a brunch place and happened across Lola's while we were at Walgreens. We love trying new places so we decided to give it a try since it was right next door. What a find! They serve brunch on the weekends until 2, and they have an amazing menu for brunch and lunch - it was so hard to choose!! We ended up with a B.E.L.T. (Bacon, egg, lettuce and tomato) and the breakfast tacos. The BELT was beyond yummy - served on homemade sourdough bread that was to die for. It was so good I had to order a loaf of the bread before we left! The tacos were good, but I was disappointed in the bacon crumbles they used on the tacos, and my potatoes, while tasty, were drowning in grease. It was good, but not amazing. I will definitely be ordering something with the bread next time. You could put a shoe on that bread and it would still taste good!! The wait was long, but we had amazing live music happening while we waited and that not only made it bearable, it made it enjoyable. Ramoth Gilead has quite the talent and a set of pipes to rival one of my favorite singers, Darius Rucker. To him, I give 5 stars!! I'm a fan now! Overall we had a great experience and had it not been for the bacon and the great potatoes on what I ordered, I would have given 5 stars as well. Can't wait to come back and order something that comes with that amazing bread!

Only gave 4 stars, because the live music was too loud and annoying. The Cuban was great though. Maybe have live music only at night not at 11am?? Literally my first time here and that alone makes me leery to come back.

Lola's had a bit of it all - cool decor, quick service, friendly employees, and a variety of sandwich options. An added bonus is a bar with cocktails and a nice selection of local east Texas beers. The French dip was great but the house made chips were just alright. They could have been a little thicker and needed some salt for my tastes. Overall it's a good choice!

First off, I let the cashier pick my whole meal. I'd like to start with the sandwich. A very simple sandwich. Light refreshing pretty good. The bread was the best part. A lot of it and buttery. I would not get the chicken salad again though. It was under dressed and in need of salt. But good overall. The chips could have sat in the fryer another minute or so. This is a good spot to go to though. No real complaints. I will be back!

I would like to see a menu. Why can't I access the website?

There is a closeup of the typed menu in the pics and also a photo of the chalkboard one that is hard to read.

We don't get there often these days as we've moved further out. I know restaurants are cutting here and there to survive. When I do go I typically get the muffuletta sandwich as it is historically great there. Last time a couple of months ago it looked great but they forgot to toast it so it was cold meat to the touch. They took it back and heated it but not to the level it should be. I think They get in a hurry as they really do have a lot of folks. Today I ordered it as usual. Quartet sandwich. When I got it there was very little meat. If you know this sandwich, it's filled with meat. See pics below of menu pic, actual pic of sandwich I got. I got the manager (young guy) and showed him. He said looks like they didn't get some of the meat on it. I replied looks like they didn't get most of the meat. He said he would get me some more. Later he came back with a bowl with hot ham in it and handed it to me. I put it on the sandwich and now it was about right. It was about 75% of the meat. At nearly $12 for the managers special now, you kind of want the meat on the sandwich. At least it was hot. Just need to get back to making sure everything is as it should be when delivered. Not the customer having to do so. Everything else was good including my wife's order.
