Legit ADORES her and jumps into his harness when she arrives (and he's suspicious of everybody) I also sincerely appreciated that Lori and co. followed up with me afterwards and even called to ask about my trip (so sorry I never returned that voicemail - it was a good time though :)) which was above and beyond in my opinion. Deku has been through a previous board and train, but I feel like that board and train mainly tackled his obedience, not his behavior issues. I let Ian know about all of this prior to boarding Deku and he made sure to explain his process with me. He also made me write down goals for Deku so that he can focus on them and make sure he tackled through them. I boarded Deku with Ian for 3 weeks and Ian made sure to send over progress pictures/videos every single day! I appreciated the content of Deku because that is basically my baby lol. There was a mid session where Ian taught me how to properly use the ecollar and showcasing what Deku has been up to the time he was with Ian. Deku was pretty much a different dog by the mid session, so it excited me to have him back after the 3rd week. The day I got Deku back, Ian showed me all of the progress and work Deku did and he was completely different. Deku stopped reacting towards people/other dogs and he was very obedient with following all commands! It's been almost a week now and Ian has checked in on Deku while he's been at home for the week and I also have follow-up sessions included in my service! I have been so happy with Deku is at! Before, I would be too scared to bring Deku out in public due to his reactivity/behavior, but I truly believe he is a completely different dog now, for the better! Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend Ian to EVERYONE. He is the real deal. I do feel like Ian knows how to connect with these dogs and emphasizes about how important relationships + communicating with your dog. Ian id the BEST!

Every time, they responded quickly, communicated clearly, and made the entire process easy and stress-free. On one occasion, they were even able to accommodate us on very short notice when a family member was unexpectedly unable to care for our pup. We've always had a great experience with London Ridge. We love receiving pictures of our dog while we're away, and it's clear he enjoys the socialization and interaction with the other dogs. I will never use them again after my TERRIBLE experience. Initially used this service for a short business trip with success so tried again for a longer trip to see family between Christmas and NYE. The company sent a sitter I had never met who incorrectly used the pill injector on my sick, elderly cat and forced her to swallow the over inch-long applicator tip. Resulted in $3,000 emergency vet surgery to remove that I had to manage from out of town. So deeply stressful for me but mainly my poor elderly asthmatic cat!! They handled it but SO unnecessary and only happened bc of their bizarre business model where they pick whichever of their employees are available, not someone who knows your house/pet. So if you get one who knows what they're doing you don't necessarily get them again - it's totally random from the customer's perspective. Instead of enjoying my family I had to spend the time managing the emergency they created from afar, stressed and fuming that I trusted this company to send someone competent to care for my sweet older cat. After the first disastrous pill delivery issue they sent the **same person** again a day later who clearly doesn't know how to give a cat medication and she, again, incorrectly gave my cat her medication!!! My cat gets ill if she misses just one day, the medication is a high-dose steroid for her asthma. The employee did not know how to give her the pill, but still marked the medication as administered on their form (I only figured out it didn't happen when I read the notes) and instead of giving her the pill rubbed it on her gums -?!? I am FURIOUS for my poor cat and at the incompetence of this employee they continue to use, along with the management that assured me they know how to give cats medication and yet still sent this individual out after it was proved that they cannot give a cat medication effectively. The other employees seemed to be ok but I had no choice over who they sent over, meaning every visit was a gamble. If you need anything beyond the most basic service, avoid avoid avoid!!!

But this recent time December 2024 - was by far the worst. During the session, they cut his skin, causing an injury. The apology I got did not feel sincere and said it's because he was squirming around that this happened & he should be okay. They charged me less than what I normally pay upon arrival only because he kept whining when I got him and I told the lady that he's telling me about his experience and he must be in pain. Had I not said that I probably would have had to pay over $100. This level of carelessness is unacceptable. My dog was in pain, and I had to deal with the stress of ensuring he was okay. I trusted them to handle my pet with care, but this incident is something I cannot forgive. I strongly urge other pet owners to avoid this shop unless they improve their practices. Your pet's safety deserves better than this. I gave them 3/5 stars because I never had a BIG issue like this in the past only for this to happen in December 2024. I'm saddened by this and really hope they do better.

It's a bit further out from home but all the in-town options were littered with bad reviews so we knew that we'd have to head out a little bit to get something we could trust. Our odd couple duo love it here and know the route so well they'll start whining even a mile or two out. They get loved on and have never come back with any issues. The onboarding process is extremely thorough (including the meet + greet/tour) and I'd recommend this location to anyone looking for a boarding option for their fur babies. Our extended circle (as well as the siblings of our husky) all go here as well - so if you ever catch the derp parade on the grass, those are probably ours!
