Cool candy shop that I stopped inside of with my oldest daughter and her best friend on a recent trip to the st Mathews mall. They have almost every gummy and chocolate imaginable. The worker was very nice and helpful when it came to the bag fill up and weigh and helping my daughter and her friend getting there 1/4th of a pounds worth of candy picked out. Prices were a little high but you expect that At a candy store. My daughter and her friend had a good time and lived up to the saying of "happy as a kid in a candy store". Overall cool little shop.

Lolli & Pops is a candy shop that covers so many sweet tooth preferences. My family will always be a fan of candy you buy by the pound. Dangerous to the pocket book, yes, but it's such a treat to grab 2 of this, 3 of that, etc. If you are a person that wants to come in over and over, I suggest you make the investment in the jar to fill up for a cheaper price when you bring it back. The employees will say "fill it up to the top, press down the candy to make more space" - love that! The store has several employees ready to help you or offer samples, even at the front door as people are walking the mall. Great marketing - catches your attention and gets you wanting more! I love the level of generosity that comes across as people ask for samples. If you enjoy chocolates or caramels more, they also keep a counter of these items too, which you buy by the pound. Sodas, candy from other countries, old school candy - it's all there. For those without a sweet tooth or who would rather keep it out of their diet, don't forget about this place for gifts.

Literally a kid in a candy store!! This places puts you in a sugar high as you walk through the door. With so many options to buy candy by weight and also candies from other countries and retro Candies too! They have the candy organized by type, Spurs, my favorite, chocolates, jelly beans, etc. They also let you sample the candy! And they walk around offering other items too! They are dressed like an old candy store employees. They also have handmade chocolates in a case and specialty items too! You also can buy cotton Candy, caramel popcorn, macaroons and specialty candy bars. You would never imagine all the options. They encourage you to buy the tins and you can refill at a much cheaper price or a lifetime refills too! Crazy huh?!? The service is incredible too!

I'm absolutely in love with store. I despise the mall, I never enjoy shopping there and I feel like it's just a giant chore. We stopped in St. Matthews because we needed to buy a shirt and as we were walking to the store, I caught a glimpse of Lollipop &a Pops. I have a big sweet tooth so I had to see what it was about. Anything you are looking for is probably there. They have a large variety of foreign candy, chocolate and even a wall dedicated to gummy bears. Up at the counter, there are a variety of sweets such as chocolate and macaroons. The staff working here are fantastic. They are super friendly and i love that their uniforms are so festive. I managed to have a conversation with one of them that lasted a good 10 minutes. I decided to get a box that came with 5 macaroons. You can pick which ones you want but I let the person working pick them for me because I wanted to see what she recommend. All of the ones she picked were amazing. The macaroons came out to be 13 dollars which was to be expected since everything in that store is pricy. Like I said before, I never look forward to shopping at the mall, but luckily Lolli and Pops is here to make the experience better. If you need a sweet fix and you're stuck in the mall, you won't be disappointed with Lolli and Pops

Gummy bears galore, in flavors such as strawberry lemonade & sour peach! Free samples upon request of any of the scrumptious candies in store. Loyalty rewards program that gives you a free 1lb bag of assorted gummy bears upon sign up! Fun place to browse and purchase a treat or two to fill (hide in)your movie purse with way yummier candy than you'll find at the theater!

This candy store is phenomenal! They have tons of candy! Candy from Mexico, Asia, japan , and of course the USA. They have many old favorites as well. Their gummy section is amazing & they even have pez! I literally felt like a child while in here, due to how cute this place truly is. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted and asked if I wanted a tour of the store. I did, and my children and I loved it. Very helpful staff. Very clean and cute candy store. I hope it sticks around.

I recently visited Mall St Matthews on Friday and noticed this little gem for the first time! There's nothing like visiting a candy store especially this one! It's like taking a step back in time to an old fashioned confectionery in the mall of all places! The employees wear old fashioned dress and offer samples while you shop. There is something for everybody's candy tastes. They have chocolates from Europe etc. and gummy everything! They even have a giant gummy bear statue. If you need to buy a gift for someone this is the perfect place! There are gift jars to put various candies in. Or if you want a little something for yourself, they have a cold case with various goodies. Next time you are at the mall, please visit! You'll feel like a kid in a candy store.

"Not too worry, we are more than just straight Bourbon." Loved all the different types of art hanging on the walls, on the shelves and on the floor. It was at that point that they started to give me and my friends different sample of their homemade chocolate and bourbon balls. I read in one review that they have their own certified chocolatier who is making these things and they are good!!! The team here was so kind and helpful and I can tell you that they had everything Bourbon. A fun experience and next visit will bring back some of these items for my friends. We arrived at 7:50 PM for an 8 PM reservation. We got cocktails at the bar, a whiskey sour and a Cosmo. Truthfully, we were not really impressed with our drinks. We were then seated around 8:15 PM. I tend to be picky regarding reservation times and honoring them so I was displeased by the wait... to my surprise this restaurant walked away with a 5 star review regardless. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Provided good recommendations that I'm sure improved our overall experience. We ordered the old fashion to share, per our waitresses recommendation and it made up for the pre-dinner cocktails! Delicious! Our appetizers, the burrata and heirloom tomatoes & stracciatella, were a good start! Good flavor and light enough for the starter. However, the French onion gratinee stole the show. Presentation was beautiful and flavor was on point for a classic French onion soup. I ordered the belly-on pork tomahawk and was very pleased with the tenderness and flavor, especially when I asked it to be cooked more medium well. My husband got the 22oz dry aged ribeye, the repeal way with the crab on top. He requested it be cooked medium rare plus and that's exactly what he received. He expressed how amazing the steak was cooked and the flavor. We shared a side of whipped Yukon potatoes that weren't too hot to dig into! These were creamy/buttery and perfect side for our entrees. As you can imagine, we were too full to have dessert but took a piece of cheesecake to go and shared later. I was shocked at how much I enjoyed the cheesecake. The blueberry compote was a delicious addition but the plain cheesecake shines all on its own! If I'm ever back in Louisville. I will be back and I'm bringing my friends.

It could just be mediocre pub food, but the food here is very, very good. I don't know why, but when I'm in the south, I get the hankering for a deviled egg. So we started with the deviled eggs (Los Huevos El Diablo), which, despite the name, were not super spicy. They had just the right amount of spice. One thing to know about me is: If I see a patty melt on the menu, I will order that. So I got the Merle's Melt, which is a burger patty with cheddar and Monterey jack cheese, plus bacon and special sauce on buttered toast. It was sublimely tasty! It comes with house-made chips, which were good. They also offer tacos on the menu. One of my children got one steak taco and one chicken taco. The tacos are topped with tomato, lettuce and cojita cheese. I was told that these were very good! My kid eats like a bird, but ate one and a half tacos, so that must say something, right? The Lip Smack'n Mac & Cheese was also ordered, as well as the fried chicken, because the menu says that the fried chicken is award-winning, so how could we not? The fried chicken was super crispy and tasty, and the mac and cheese was creamy and made with large shells, which is the best kind of pasta to use for mac and cheese (in my opinion). The service was great, the lighting was great, and we were seated quickly, even though they seemed busy. It was a good place to have a family dinner in Louisville.
