I walked in to this very cool and comfortable shop and congratulated them that they have the only person from New York who does not drink Bourbon in their shop which gave everyone a smile but they said... "Not too worry, we are more than just straight Bourbon." Loved all the different types of art hanging on the walls, on the shelves and on the floor. It was at that point that they started to give me and my friends different sample of their homemade chocolate and bourbon balls. I read in one review that they have their own certified chocolatier who is making these things and they are good!!! The team here was so kind and helpful and I can tell you that they had everything Bourbon. A fun experience and next visit will bring back some of these items for my friends. There was some kind of gutter work going on in this part of the street so parking was limited. Unfortunately, when we came by for ice cream next door on our first day in Louisville the candy shop was already closed for the day. The shop is a small, family-owned business operating since 1921. Inside are displays of handmade candies, delectable treats like Old Fashion Kentucky Bourbons and Muth's Modjeskas as well as unique novelty treats like horseshoe shaped chocolates. I was the first customer and I already knew what I wanted. The chocolates were already pre-packaged, I chose a bag each of the milk peanut clusters and milk chocolate raisin clusters... they were fresh and so delicious!
