We ordered one waffle cone, one Snowstorm, and one milkshake. Total: $30.50. Thirty dollars and fifty cents for ice cream. At that price I expected at least one topping to be sprinkled with gold dust or blessed by a dairy priest. I paid with tap to pay after the cashier specifically asked if I wanted to tap. Cool. Fine. No receipt given. We step aside waiting for our order when I notice the giant sign saying if you don't receive a receipt at the time of order, your order is free. Well well well. The plot thickens. So I politely go back and explain I never got a receipt. Cashier suddenly develops selective amnesia and says she'll just print one now. That's not how this works, babe. Then enters Margie, shift manager and defender of the treasury. Margie immediately starts throwing excuses around like confetti at a parade. First she claims the cashier asked if I wanted a receipt and I said no. False. Then she says they can't refund me because I paid with a card. I told her cash works just fine for me, I'm flexible. At this point Margie actually pulls the cash from the register, but instead of handing it over she disappears into the back to hold what I can only assume was an emergency Supreme Court hearing with the cashier. She returns and suddenly the story changes again. Now apparently the cashier asked "the man" if he wanted a receipt and he said no. Girrrrrllll. My nephew is a child. Also she never spoke to him. The lies were getting so creative I was waiting for them to blame the waffle cone itself. Eventually Margie gives the refund, but instead of handing me the money like a normal human being, she tosses it onto the counter like she was paying off a poker debt in a smoky back room casino. I said, "Next time, Margie, put my money in my hand." This woman looks me dead in my face and says, "Next time, MISSY, put your hand out if you want it in your hand." Honestly, the ice cream was good, but the customer service had all the warmth of a tax audit. 10/10 entertainment though. I came for dessert and accidentally got dinner theater.

The ice cream was so good, we went back last weekend and I tried the Butter Pecan in a waffle cone. By the way, the waffle cones are super fresh and are just as good. The Butter Pecan had huge chunks of pecans and was super satisfying. We Scream offers a multitude of flavors that you can choose from. They even offer pup cups which is great!. We ordered Butter Pecan and Chocolate cookie dough with brownie. We ordered a small cup of both. We also ordered a pup cup which was a scoop of vanilla ice cream with whipped cream. My dog absolutely loved it. The ice cream was delightful and delicious. You can't go wrong. Their prices are really low as well compared to Ben n Jerry's we literally paid $10 for all the items we ordered. We had a great experience. It has been on my list to try since December 2024! I ordered a modified (I'm lactose intolerant ) @stormyblue Raz-Berry. The Raz-Berry is part of a fundraiser for @socialbutterfliesfoundation. May is Lupus Awareness Month. Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease in which the immune system attacks healthy tissue, affecting the skin, joints, and organs. It impacts an estimated 1.5 million Americans, and millions more worldwide. The Social Butterflies Foundation is the only nonprofit in Hampton Roads dedicated specifically to supporting those with Lupus and Fibromyalgia. They've helped over 2,500 people locally, and their work continues through community support and donations. $1 from each Stormy Blue Raz-Berry will be donated to the foundation.
