I've frequented the Lolly's Creamery near the Oceanfront many times, but this was my first time trying this location and it did not disappoint. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the amazing smell of freshly made waffles and the wonderful staff. The sweet aroma was very inviting and immediately put us in the mood for ice cream. Since it was so many different flavors to choose from, my friend and I wanted to sample a few and the staff were very patient, letting us sample whichever flavors we wanted. They had such an impressive selection to choose from such as Coffee & Biscoff, Bomb Pop, Mint Chocolate Chip, Coffee, Cookie Monster, Chocolate Peanut Butter and more. They also have vegan options as well. After trying a few flavors, I decided on a waffle cone with Vanilla and Cookie Monster, which has Oreos and house-made chocolate chips mixed in. It was the perfect summer treat; rich, creamy, and so satisfying. They even offer pup cups, which is simply whipped cream, which is a nice dog-friendly treat. Friendly staff. Strawberry sorbet hit the spot. Raspberry chocolate truffle scoop was good. This has a lot of large chocolate chunks. We also tried this raspberry chocolate truffle flavor in a shake, which was good. The chocolate chunks do not blend up, fyi. This was creamy and soft. Bad news is they only have fat boba straws that are not needed in my opinion. Don't recommend for couple of reasons. The cherry rocky road was not what I expected. Didn't like. Another of ours was a waffle cone the cone had a hole in the bottom and leaked all over the place had to throw it away. Then my total bill came to $56 and when I looked at my bank account, the bill was $67 and my receipt so they on tip and nowhere wasn't mentioned that a tip was gonna be added to my bill after I paid for it read more

The shop is cute inside and the two ladies there today were very friendly and nice; they greeted us as we came, asked how we were doing today, and even gave me a compliment on my outfit :) I ordered a regular size cup (2 big scoops) of mermaid flavor ice cream and my friend ordered a small cone (2 small scoops) of strawberry ice cream. Lolly's is debatably one of the best ice cream shops in VB. Their social media will keep you updated on their flavors, but their regular flavors include Cookie Monster, which is one of the best versions of the blue sweet cream ice cream stuffed with Oreos and cookie dough. The servers behind the counter are quick, friendly, and knowledgeable (as expected from an ice cream shop tbh). The interior is small but you might as well buy a quart of ice cream to take home. It's actually not even busy inside if you wanted to grab a small ice cream and catch up with friends, but luckily, the outside has a covering so you can enjoy the ice cream outdoors rain or shine. Every weekend I come home, I definitely browse their Instagram for whatever featured flavor for that weekend. I love that there is another location. Their ice cream is so good!!! I enjoyed a nice large chocolate milkshake this time around. My husband raved about the coffee ice cream he got. I loved it as well, and it is not my normal go to flavor. He loves that there is ground up coffee grounds in the coffee ice cream. So unique! I think the coffee is also locally sourced. The chocolate ice cream is so decadent! The 2 employees working Sunday were so nice! We all laughed and had a good time when we were there. They made sure we were taking care of. I live at the Oceanfront so I'm still loser to that Lolly's Location, but I'm still so thrilled that Lolly's has opened this second location on the Blvd. I think I'll be especially thrilled next summer when I don't have to battle the tourist traffic to meet a friend for ice cream. When I lived closer to town center I was always in this section of the Blvd so having a Lolly's here would have been a DREAM! I haven't found a flavor that I don't like. They come up with some pretty wacky stuff- like their cookie monster which is a *blue* cookies & cream + cookie dough combination. I'm still kicking myself for not going to their old location when they had a black velvet ice cream for Halloween. My favorite unique flavor that I have tried is their limited release lemon blueberry. They had chunks of lemon bar mixed in with some actual blueberries ... perfection! They do have your classic flavors too if you aren't really looking to try something new. I adore the strawberry and I'm excited that mint chocolate chip is on the permanent menu now! Their website says "Each week we will typically feature, two original craft ice cream flavors, chocolate, vanilla, two Lolly's Classic Flavors, and a non-dairy sorbet." That should cover just about everyone looking for a sweet treat! I like this location more so than I like the oceanfront location. Obviously it's personal preference. One it is a lot closer to me and has a bathroom. It is also located near a few restaurants, so it's a bonus if you eat dinner and have a hankering for their ice cream. They have a lot less seating at this one but I don't mind. They added a few indoor tables and they have maybe 2 or 3 benches outside their store front. It's a clean indoor location and the staff is very nice. I'm a creature of habit and I almost always go for their mermaid or Cookie Monster flavors. It's what makes them stand out from the other competitors along with its creaminess. I do love ube and I think it was a great collaboration with Jack Eats. But, once again my personal preference- I thought the ube flavor was a bit underwhelming. I was hyped up for a week to try some and it was okay. I have had Jack Eats products also and I love it! But this ube flavor didn't do much for my tastebuds. Although, I heard this flavor was doing well at the oceanfront. I do love Lolly's. I think their blue colored ice cream does look a bit toxic but it also makes me feel happy inside because, I do have an affinity for the color blue. ;-) But those two flavors are their heavy hitters for me! I've only visited their Euclid Rd location (on 4/25/19 and 8/17/19), but their ice cream is amazing. I ordered the cookie monster during both visits so I can vouch that that flavor is amazing. Lolly's owner, Joey, is super nice - they were actually closed during my first visit. At the time, they only had the Euclid location and they were simply making ice cream that day. When I walked in, Joey kindly informed me they were closed but went ahead and had one of his employees take my order anyways. He didn't have to do that but I appreciate it enough to still remember this kind act (this was back on April 25, 2019, the same day Avengers: Endgame opened... yeah, I'm a film geek) - they went above and beyond to satisfy this customer. I tried the pumpkin and vegan peanut butter and chocolate on two separate trips. The pumpkin was so similar to pumpkin pie that I wish they put some pie crust in it as well. They were very helpful in explaining the flavors and also offered us free sampling. I got the Cookie Monster ice cream which is a blue ice cream made with Oreos and cookie dough. It was soo good. My kids got the coffee (decaffeinated) and mint chip. They loved it. My husband got the peach sorbet since he's lactose intolerant. He ate his in 5 minutes (that says a lot!) LOL. Overall the atmosphere was very welcoming. You can tell they were a popular spot because so many people came in after us. Downside is that they had only 2 tables. What a lovely treat this place was! My family and I stopped by for ice cream as we celebrated for Mother's Day. The decor here is super cute-- very clean and bright. The menu is neat and easy to understand. They had a variety of flavors but the Cookie Monster caught my eye first. I tried a sample of it and fell in love!!
