He was even able to add a new outlet in my kitchen where I never had one before - which will make such a huge difference. Of course I picked out annoying light fixtures that required Sean to be inventive with how he installed them, and they turned out perfect. He even helped me to select the right type of light bulbs to make sure I got the look I wanted. I was impressed with how easy it was to connect with Sean over text for scheduling, and each time he came out he was always on time and had all the supplies he needed to get the job done. And he didn't even hassle me when I wanted everything on dimmers, the way other electricians have done in the past! If you've put off projects - whether they are big or small - because you weren't sure who to hire, just contact AML. They gave me something that I desperately needed. TIME! To make a long story short, my husband and I purchased a 1930's brick bungalow 11 years ago. Being naive, it was the vintage Chambers Stove that won us over. We've had to constantly upgrade, refinish, redo, and remodel. We remodeled our kitchen 4 years ago around this vintage stove. At that time, we were willing to live without a dishwasher. I wasn't willing to sacrifice storage space in place of a dishwasher. I have never had a dishwasher in my life, it didn't seem to be a necessity. Fast forward to today. I have my own OCD foodie. He's 4 years old and refuses to use the same utensils for foods that are sweet or salty. Dishes were piling up, and I felt as if I was constantly washing dishes. Stuff didn't feel clean. After spending a few afternoons at a friend's house, playing with her dishwasher, and fearing the hoarding habits that run rampant in both of our families, the time had come. I really didn't need to have 4 junk drawers or a cabinet full of misc pans that were never used. We bought a dishwasher. Had no idea that they would not install it if there was not an old one in place. We called a friend for a quote; he promised that he would try to install it for us in a few weeks. That box sat in my kitchen for almost a month. I hate to wait. I sent inquiries through Service Magic, and called several contractors on Yelp. Maintenance Made Easy called me immediately. Bonus, they were able to come within the week. These guys are incredible. I needed to have the plumbing and electrical pulled in order to have a dishwasher. I also needed to have the cabinets and drawers removed. This was not an easy task due to the layout of our kitchen. It could not go alongside the sink as each cabinet was barely 17 inches wide. The only place that it could be put was around the corner, under the counter almost 4 feet away. I liked that Bill and his worker put thought into it, that they did not just give me what I wanted to get the job. They measured, they did their homework. They had to make sure that the discharge tube would not back up due to the distance. The job that they did was incredible. They also retrofit a small cabinet for me to slide in baking tins and cutting boards with the extra space. I am so happy and thrilled to have a dishwasher that I could scream. The time that it has given me is priceless. I will not use any other contractor other than Maintenance Made Easy. They are the best and they are fair. They are also quick, clean, and great guys to have around. P.S. Imagine having Ray Liotta and Lloyd Bridges doing work at your house. My husband didn't think that it was funny, but I got a kick out of it.

After waiting for 3 hours for the tech to arrive I got a message saying that he would be late (at least another hour). I had to run some errands, so I explained where the existing generator was to the office contact and told her that there was no need for the tech to talk to us because none of the work required inside access. The tech came when we were out (I caught him on our surveillance cameras) and inspected the location of the old generator, then left. Two days went by and there was no follow up (no contact at all) from the office about my quote. Over the next week I asked three more times and got no response. The word "Fail" in their name is appropriate - THEY FAIL TO MEET EVEN MINIMAL STANDARDS FOR RESPONSIVENESS.

He said and I quote, "I just really want you to be happy with your setup, that's the most important thing" I really impressed with Lou and Pete. On the phone, I was quoted that the work would be appx 275-300 dollars to complete. A quote was never emailed to me. On the day of the work, the lights were installed to satisfaction and I approached the technician about some quotes to troubleshoot an outdoor outlet that wasn't tripping as well as to take a look at quoting what it would cost to convert my garage from 15 to 20 AMP service. This took the technician appx. another 45 minutes to quote these issues (which he didn't have time to fix), yet when he brought in the final bill, I was charged a jaw dropping fee of $495. This is a significant departure from the $275-$300 that I was initially quoted, and does not reflect one additional hour of labor. (Even less than that, in reality- closer to 45 minutes.) The tech arrived at 12:00PM and completed all work at 2:38PM, timestamped on my Nest camera. The last 10-15 mins of the time he was at my house he was in his vehicle, presumably writing up an invoice. The bill also incurred a $45 service fee, which was never discussed with me over the phone. In addition, the fact that the technician would not have any ability or time to fix the outdoor outlet that was not grounding properly during my appointment was not discussed with me. I called Phil on the phone who was courteous, but unwilling to adjust the price. He stated that a $45 service fee was standard (and actually stated that I somehow had a 5 dollar discount on mine...) yet I am really struggling to figure out how this would have played a part in the initial quote of $275-300 for a job that was estimated to take approximately two hours of labor. He also stated that he could have charged me for additional screws and caulking supplies.... (This would have been a max of 15-20 dollars). Bottom line- I've had good experiences with Phil and Trinity in the past, and they seem to do good work. But charging me just under $500 to hang four outdoor lights and spend a bit of extra time calculating a plan/quote on how to address additional issues but not having time to address them has been extremely off putting and I can't help but feel taken. I did my best to have a courteous conversation with him over the phone, but again he was unwilling to budge. I've used Trinity in the past but I'm not sure I'll be consulting their services in the future or recommending them to coworkers unless we can address this.
