    They got their own hops!

Lombard House is an actual house, with a backyard and due to Covid-19, you pretty much just have the backyard to go to. The space inside is very tiny and if you want any sort of food, the St. John's Beer Porch is right across the street. My reason for making my way up to NOPO was because there is a small group of a Philadelphia Eagles fan club (North Portland Bird Watchers Society) that watches games here. It helps that the owner is an Eagles fan as well. The bar has a small selection of beers on tap, but there were a couple of fresh hop brews when I visited. The backyard is actually larger than the inside and a few years back some folks planted different varieties of hops that have been used in ciders by Rev. Nat's. It's a nice neighborhood spot. Please support local. Enjoy.

It's a nice little tap house with some good beers on tap. I've been here a couple times before and I can tell they have a bit of trouble keeping mega cold in the summer. But the bartender is always nice and the service is always fast not much to complain about

I was visiting my cousin in Portland for the weekend, and as die-hard Phillies fans, we needed a place to watch games 1 & 2 of the World Series. We could not have asked for a more warm and welcome setting. The owner Brian made us feel like he was welcoming us into his own home. Excellent beer selection and clearly a neighborhood vibe. I will be sure to come back for a 6ers, Eagles, Phillies, Flyers game the next time I'm in town, or just for a drink and some good conversation. Go Phils!

Fun little beer house (literally a house) with a really nice (and short) tap list. Had a Fremont Dark Star and Rainier and enjoyed the cozy vibe and the cool folks. A great spot to swing into!

Great beer bar with an awesome patio. $6 craft beers, friendly service, and funny bathroom stickers.. what more do you want?

Lovely little place with the friendliest staff and customers! We, and our pups, loved it!! Will definitely be making this our summer hangout!

I live a mile down the road from Lombard House. It is one of the most welcoming bars I have ever been to. Strong Philly sports culture. Brian the owner is a great dude and takes the time to get to know you. Great beer on tap and reasonable prices. All around great spot to kick it.

Best place to grab a unique and local brew in St John's Brian, the owner is amazing and loves to get to know his patrons. He has great connections around town for some great taps and keeps it consistent.

The owner rocks. Such a nice guy. First beer free for Veterans. Space indoor and out is adorable. Nice selection. Great prices.

This place is cozy and fun. The owner treats you like royalty, food trucks deliver hot food of your choice and old school movies on the tv. Couples were playing board games while people chatted and ate dinner. Serving up beer, cider and wine, I think I found my new "Cheers". I believe there is patio seating as well but I was toasty inside!

Lombard House transforms beautifully into a wedding reception!

When our original wedding reception venue cancelled three days before the wedding, Brian, owner of Lombard House, offered my future son in law, a friend and frequent Lombard House patron to host it. Wow! It turned out to be the better/best venue and everyone, old and young loved celebrating here! We can't thank Brian enough or say enough great things about Brian and this place - great local place to relax, chat, drink and even celebrate a wedding!

Great dog friendly atmosphere. I had a fantastic THC/CBD seltzer. We were greeted instantly and brought our dog some treats.

Minors (in the form of a baby) allowed?

Molly, I was only there once and I didn't see any minors there. However, I also didn't see any "no minors" signage posted anywhere. That said, the folks running the place are super nice and the vibe here is very very laid back and inclusive. I'd say… Read more

Intentionally set earlier in the day understanding the significance of the day. (Been together over 20 years.) When we arrived my husband kindly requested a window table with view of the water. The woman taking the reservation info advised that she would try, but "so busy" etc. We were sat at a half circular booth that was facing water but set back from water. I just want to note there were 7 tables open at window seating. 3 of which were 2 tops. We did have 3, so essentially for us, 4 EMPTY tables could have accommodated our request. 2 remained empty the entirety of our meal. So I just can't understand why this request wouldn't be granted. Waitress we were assigned was amazing. On top of things, refills etc. We got the wing appetizer, cheese curds, and the wedge salad as appetizers. They were all good. The wings I would get with no sauce. The sauce on them was very ketchup reminiscent. For the entrees we both did the steak frites. Fries were amazing. The steak was sooooo tough. Medium rare didn't save them. Our child got the half pizza and demolished. For dessert we got the cookie with ice cream and the valentines special cheesecake. Both were delicious. Overall 3.5. Could use some help at front. If you don't realize you have that many free tables and could easily accommodate a paying customer the table they prefer, it just simply doesn't make sense. At the end, I did ask manager why we wouldn't be able to sit where we requested and there really was just no good reason. It was just a shrug like it was a busy day. Like I guess maybe saving for make believe guests?? LOL unreal. It's not often I would question things. But this was just absurd. Again, I need to say, our waitress was amazing. Food was fine. Just a very weird experience as far as seating. Like who are you saving those seats for?? Anywho. Enjoy!
