First time here. The location of this truck is in a sketchy and a bit dangerous area. When I…read morevisited, there were people who appear to abusing substances standing next to the truck. The food was pretty good as far as flavor and quality of meat goes. You could taste the bbq flavor on the meat which really added to each bite. The price was a bit on the higher end for the portion sizes you get. I would love to return, given that the area is safe because it's hard to find a decent taco truck.

First off, I really love that they use charcoal to cook their meat. That smoky flavor is something you just can't replicate with other cooking methods, and it definitely stands out. They also give a generous amount of sides and avocado with every taco, which I really appreciated. I ordered the tripe, chorizo, and carne asada tacos. The carne asada was good--nice flavor overall, though it could use just a touch more salt. Still very enjoyable and easy to overlook. I'd give the asada a 8/10. The tripe taco was where I struggled a bit. I usually like tripe with a bit of bite and crunch, but this one was way too crunchy. At one point I genuinely wondered if I was going to crack a tooth . It also needed more salt.If they cooked this a little less honestly this would be much higher on my rating. I'd rate the tripe a 5.5/10. The chorizo was well cooked and flavorful. Like many places now, the seasoning was lighter so you can adjust it yourself, which I don't mind at all. I'd give the chorizo a 7/10. Overall, this is a decent taco truck with some solid flavors and good portions. Worth checking out, especially if you appreciate charcoal-grilled meat.

Their birria pizza is incredibly juicy, packed with flavor, and huge enough to easily feed 2-3 people with just one pizza. And the consomé? So good. Rich, flavorful, and perfect for dipping every slice. If you're a birria fan, this place is definitely worth checking out. No question, I'll keep making the drive for this one!

The Raza box ($25) and monster box ($35) are my usual go to menu items, as they have an assortment of tacos and quesadilla. The taco is made with one corn tortilla that seems to have been dipped in consome beforehand and have a good amount of cheese and birria ratio. The quesadilla is packed with birria meat and the consome is the perfect pairing for all the items. I've seen specials occasionally on Instagram so it's worth to follow their page to get updates on their food truck status. Their location recently changed and it's in a not so convenient part of the business park, but the food is still great and their communication with customers should help with any new updates. I also recommend the green salsa, it has a slight kick and great flavor!

I initially was super pumped to try out this food truck. One, I love Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food. Two, they have good reviews on Yelp. Three, how can you say no to a name like Kabobaholic. Unfortunately, Kabobaholic underwhelmed a bit. Ambiance (N/A): Since it's a food truck, ambiance is not part of the experience. Service (4/5): Serving a lot of hungry people at a music festival isn't easy. People don't want to wait long, yet they also want their food to be tasty. They had a little table set out in front of the food truck where I placed your order. You were then given a slip with your number that they would call out when your food was ready. I waited a reasonable amount of time for my order. Drinks (N/A): I didn't order any beverages. Food (3/5): I'm a sucker for loaded fries. So when I saw their gyro fries (which are halal by the way) on the menu, it was a no brainer. Fries, gyro meat, pickles, tomatoes, and tzatziki sauce. Sounds like a winner to me. And it was a winner in the sense that it was a generous portion. Which is part of what I was looking for. I wanted a filling dinner to last me for a long night out. Mission accomplished there. The gyro meat was sliced thin and flavorful, the veggies were fresh, and you can't ever go wrong with tzatziki sauce. The problem? The thick-cut fries were undercooked. Given that they were the main part of the meal, it took away from the entire experience significantly. It's hard to deliver at a busy festival. At a small event, or where they regularly post up, perhaps the execution is better.

I had been wanting to try Kabobaholic for a while, and finally got my shot at Angel Stadium during the Savannah Bananas game. I went with the falafel bowl, my gal ordered the chicken bowl, and of course we had to get the feta fries (more on those in a second). The falafel was the standout for me. Too often, falafel just tastes like... fried. You don't really get the depth--the cumin, coriander, garlic, all the things that are supposed to make it pop. This was the opposite. Super flavorful, well-seasoned, and actually distinct. Add in the sauces and fresh salad, and it made for a perfect ballpark dinner. And then the fries... next level. Let's be honest, fries are usually just filler. Not here. These were packed with flavor, and the feta gave it that extra bite that made you keep going back for more. Really, really good. Didn't grab a pic of the bowl (was too busy eating), but snapped one of the truck. If you see Kabobaholic, do yourself a favor and stop.
