    Cóctel de Camarón con Pulpo

Had a craving for a cóctel and I found this gem on Yelp. Drove up and there was plenty of parking. I was briefly welcomed by the ladies in the truck. I asked for a cóctel with camarón and pulpo... WOW! Let me tell you, I'm pretty picky when it comes to seafood and unfortunately, in OC it's hard to find a solid spot! This place did NOT disappoint! The seafood was fresh and so tasty! They also took their time to make sure the presentation was on point. You usually don't get this from a food truck. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

By far the best mariscos in Orange County. I typically order the Empanadas and Coctel 911. My partner and I have been coming here for years and were thrilled to see they reopened. Excellent customer service, delicious food and the baby pink food truck is a huge plus! We will be coming back very soon!

Shrimp tostada for 1 person. I plated this at home. $7, May 2025

Random food truck kinda on an industrial street with a couple other trucks. Seems sketchy to order seafood from a truck, but i took my chances. It was so good! I don't speak spanish so i asked a lot of questions. The man serving me was very friendly and patient with me. I had to ask for prices since nothing is marked. You could accidentally order something that's $25. I got one plain shrimp tostada for $7. Will return again someday. Only thing i would suggest is maybe describing the dish and list the prices on a website. They did have a QR menu but said it no longer works. Other than that, seems like a small family run business w great service and a cute pink truck

El 911 y tacos de pescado

Best mariscos truck in Santa Ana ! Los tacos estan a todo dar y los cocteles so delicious! Recommend to anyone !

Black aguachile. Tangy and sweet, delicious!

Super friendly service! Always with a smile. Food is amazing! Super fresh seafood. I got the green aguachile and the black aguachile. The green was the spicier of both. Tangy and refreshing spicy enough but still enjoyable. The black aguachile was on the sweeter side. Still as good as the green. Onions are sliced super thin and cucumbers are fresh and crispy. Portions are big. I had left over for my lunch the next day. Definitely coming back to try the fish tacos.

Had high hopes about this place but it's just ok. Purchased aguachiles and something tasted off... for two orders of aguachiles we had to wait 20 minutes. Might come back and try other items but not 100% sure.

    Ceviche de camaron

I love this place the mariscos are fresh and good in flavor, we love the costumer service, and they give you your order quick, we would definitely come back soon

Food is to die for. The recommendations were on point. I came not sure what to buy. However Ashley's recommendations were fire. I loved the ambiance too. I will definitely be post this on my insta and inviting my family and friends.

#16 Botona Pueblo Culichi. Comes with cooked shrimp, raw shrimp, and octopus, over salsa negra. But I just got more cooked shrimps than raw shrimps. High quality food. Great flavor. Expect to wait. Had a look at other customer's food and it looks top notch. Will come back again to try other items off the menu.

Ceviche needs to be tangier, but lots of fish

Would be 3 stars (pricing), but the quality of the soup and service brought it to 4. $38 for 16oz? Fish ceviche ($12), a governador-esque thing (?), and mixed seafood soup ($12-14) Fish ceviche ($12/16oz) It is ok, but could be better. I prefer my ceviche to be tangier. I liked how the fish was tender and quite plentiful, but they are smaller pieces if you're ok with that. I had to add some lime and green sauce to make the flavor pop a bit more. Might pass on this one next time. Mixed seafood soup ($12-14 idr) I've never had a Mexican seafood soup before. Bf and I liked this, they don't skimp on the seafood. There was one large shrimp with a shell, and a lot of smaller ones. The fish comes with skin, and the octopus was still tender. This is comforting and easy to eat. Quite a large container for $12-14 Tacos El chiunfo This is similar to taco El governador. It's a shrimp, octopus, and fish taco with a hefty amount of cheese and tortilla. Pretty much very fried and served with pico de Gallo and cabbage to make you feel not so bad. Eaten with the creamy chipotle sauce is very good. 3 large pieces in one order for $12 probably Ivan, the person taking my order was very nice. I utilized what broken Spanish I recall from highschool and managed to have a short chat with him lol Will come back for the chiunfo + seafood stew!

Best ceviche, worth the drive. I always order the #16 at 2-3 times a month. If you like it spicy, ask them to make it extra spicy.

The sauce has too much lime juice for my taste, and I prefer my shrimp to be fully cooked.

The photos caught our eye, but they don't even do justice to the actual experience. The modest facade completely hides the gem buried within; the moment you step through the doors, you are transported into a beautiful, vibrant atmosphere. Despite arriving just before 7:00 PM on a busy Saturday night, we were seated incredibly fast. We had the absolute pleasure of being served by Karla (with a 'K'). Her enthusiasm, attentiveness, and deep knowledge of the menu were top-notch--truly a model for how the entire service industry should operate. As for the food? Out of this world. From the presentation to the flavor, the attention to detail is flawless. It is completely clear that Rosa Madera was created by someone with immense vision and heart, and they've managed to find a staff that shares that exact same passion. We are so hooked that we will absolutely be making the trip back from San Diego with the sole purpose of eating here again. In the meantime, my friends and family are going to get sick of me over the next few days, because I refuse to shut up about this place!

Thanks to Restaurant Week, we stumbled upon this gem, and we are so grateful. The hospitality alone would earn five stars. But then came the food. The tacos? Absolutely exceptional. The steak was tender and flavorful in a way that reminded me of eating throughout Mexico, you could actually taste the meat. A light, gentle pickle of vegetables on top, minimal cheese, nothing heavy or greasy. These are not the American-style tacos drowning in a pound of melted cheese. These are the real thing. The beans were lovely, the rice was solid, and my passion fruit winearita drink was genuinely a treat. Restaurant Week gave us the perfect low-pressure reason to try somewhere new, and we walked out with a new favorite. We'll be back for lunch. We'll be back for dinner. And yes, Taco Tuesday, we'll absolutely be back for that.

Honestly, I have no idea how this restaurant has nearly 5 stars…read more We arrived around 6 PM with a party of 6 adults and 3 toddlers, and we didn't receive our food until almost 8 PM. To make matters worse, one of our meals was completely forgotten. The service was extremely slow throughout the entire visit. Every time we needed something, whether it was a refill, an update, or assistance, the wait felt excessive. The restaurant may have potential because the food itself was flavorful, but it seemed like they were either understaffed or unprepared for the number of customers they had. Another disappointment was the drink selection. We were told they don't have a liquor license, so hard alcohol isn't available. Their sodas were canned, and when we asked for juice for the kids, they told us they were completely out. As for the atmosphere, the restaurant is on the smaller side and felt more like a converted house than a traditional restaurant, complete with a fireplace and television in the dining area. The food had good flavor, which is the only reason I'm giving more than one star. Unfortunately, the long wait times, missing meal, lack of drink options, and poor service made the overall experience disappointing.
