Londi's Super Beef and small Onion Rings
    Dave M.

My favorite sandwich at the moment is the Super Beef. At $4.70 for the sandwich, $5.30 for the large sub, this is an incredible value, as well as being downright delicious. There is about a pound of beef in one of these sandwiches. It is damn near impossible to drive and eat one of these at the same time. My standard is to have it topped with mayo, cheese, salt and pepper. My second choice is sauce (the standard James River brand BBQ sauce used by most RB places) and cheese. Pizza is $1 a slice, and great, with an emphasis on cheese. The onion rings are thin and crispy, just how I like em. Kabob salads are another favorite, filling and complete with feta cheese and pita. One of my all time favorite places, and I am often there about 3 to 4 times a month.

Awesome food. Clean restaurant. Amazing staff. They go above and beyond to please the customer. The grilled chicken sub with grilled peppers and mushrooms is always my first choice. Salads are always made with fresh vegetables.

The buffalo chicken fingers were bad and the roast beef was undeserving of the "famous" title.

Service, pizza and delivery was all excellent. It's nice to order a pizza and have it delivered and it's still piping hot!

So I get a large Chip's Tip sub and a few pastries for snacks. The bill was steep for what I got but I thought it would be worth it for my son to try the sub. After getting it, we split the sub and ate it in the car. Let me tell you that this was not the same steak tip I remembered. It was so bad, we tossed it in the garbage at the gas station next door. The steak was very tough and hard to chew - almost like the tips had been cooked earlier and then reheated for my order. Everything just seemed greasy. We also did not enjoy the raspberry turnover or yellow cream cannoli's we got for dessert. Maybe it was us or maybe it was the food but I will never go there again. We are not food snobs by any stretch of the imagination, and I rarely will say anything bad about a restaurant experience but we ended up going to Augusta's which is just a little bit down the road, for chicken just to erase this experience from our mouths. I know a lot of people will swear by their steak tip subs and that is great but it's just not for me anymore.

We walked into a comfortable space with a relaxed vibe that never feels generic, the kind of spot where you can settle in for a meal or grab something quickly without the atmosphere working against you. The Vietnamese bowl is the order that brings everything together well. We tried it and the flavors were bright and balanced, leaning into the fresh herb and citrus notes that make Vietnamese inspired food work when the kitchen takes it seriously. The bowl format here gives you enough going on across the components that each bite shifts slightly, which kept the meal interesting from start to finish in a way that a simpler dish would not. The broader menu is worth exploring beyond a single visit. The shakshuka and acai bowl are both good, the smash burger salad is a surprisingly strong order for anyone who wants something more indulgent, and the vegan options are extensive and genuinely well executed rather than feeling like an afterthought. The smoothies are popular for good reason and the coffee holds up as well. Pricing runs on the higher side and the menu does not always list prices upfront on site, which is worth being aware of before you commit to a larger order. Service is generally attentive and fast, though it can vary by location and shift.

The corned beef is large chunks, not small diced pieces found in most commercial and canned hash. The potatoes, peppers, and onions gave a nice texture and flavor. I had it topped with two over medium eggs which were perfectly cooked. As I was eyeing the French toast, he gave me a single piece which included their fruit infused whipped cream and was really, really good! That might be my entree next time. My friend got the crepes and her face was doing happy expressions while she was eating. My new best friend Maria kept my coffee mug full-she visited the table frequently to make sure my mug never got low nor cold. She also took care to clean the table promptly as plates were finished. Now if my kids could learn that... oh wait, this is a diner review. The ambiance is cute and chic. There was easy access to accommodate wheel chairs and they have their menu clearly marked for gluten free available and vegan options (most of the menu). The menu is on the fancier side; they will prepare whatever someone wants (e.g. if someone just wants 2 eggs and bacon, they can easily do that). The location is on Main St. so parking is hit or miss. If you are nearby and want something good, this is a good option!

Stopped in at Burlington in between medical appointments and a great, quick, delicious brunch. My husband scarfed down his Rice, Rice Baby entree (Rice, black beans, fire roasted poblano corn, grilled chicken, pico de gallo, avocado crema, pickled onion, cotija, sliced avocado, Nacho Cheese Doritos® & cilantro.) It looked really good; I'm going to have to ask if they'd make a vegetarian version. The husband wondered if it could be made into a burrito. I experienced the delectable Cookie Monster Pancakes (Oreo® cookie infused pancakes stuffed with chocolate cream - topped with Oreo® cookie butter & powdered sugar.) I ate half and brought the other half home. Washed it down with some quality Peet's iced coffee. Staff was courteous and dependable. It was a little loud, as are most Toasts, because of music and chatter. Entrance is handicapped accessible, though a push-button automated door would be excellent. Staff held the door for me when I entered and exited with my mobility aid.
