The garlic tray is good portion for the price. The service is good because they get you in and out. I've never had an issue with anyone being rude but it does help to know what you want. For my entree I had a shrimp po'boy with a side of the bacon collards again they were really good. My only issue is that for my po'boy the bread was not a roll but it was still satisfying. My husband had the fish platter with grouper and trigger fish with fries and coleslaw. We absolutely loved the grouper it reminded me of red snapper. I believe in honest food reviews so here is my take. When I come to Florida my go-to is the fried seafood platter. When I was looking for seafood restaurants near me I came across this place with great reviews and decided to check their menu. $22.99 for a seafood platter that included all my favorites. I knew for that price I had to check it out. When we pulled up, I realized this is the same place we had eaten at about 11 years ago but could not find again since it is not very close to the place we stay usually and is off the main road so not easy to locate. I am happy to say everything I remembered about the place was still the same. The food was good, the service was good, and we liked the atmosphere. Our server's name was Amy and she was very pleasant and friendly and did a great job. Thank you amy! I will go a little more detailed about the food. Don't get me wrong, you aren't going to get the quality of a fish camp where the fish and chips are 30 plus dollars. However I am not made of money and don't want to spend over $40 for a seafood platter. Everything on the platter was really good and for $22.99 you can't beat it! It came with three or four pieces of fish, plenty of shrimp, oysters, scallops, clam strips, and a crab cake. I like the fact that the fried fish on the platter was either flounder or cod, your choice, which is much better than some places that only give you tilapia. The platter also comes with two side items which I got French fries that were really good and crispy, and cheese grits which were also really good. Both side items I will definitely be getting again. For dessert, you can't go wrong with the key lime pie. Overall, this place is a Hidden Gem in my opinion. The prices are great for the quality of food that you get and somewhere I look forward to returning year after year. In fact we are here for another 5 days and there is a good chance I will be back before we leave!
