The sauce was buttery smooth and the waffle was crisp yet soft, everything was delicious ! I needn't add a thing! 2nd meal: The BLT (-added smashed avocado) my daughter is the a BLT critic, she crafts them up, and orders them often! Her words : "wow this might as well be the best BLT I have ever tasted!!" 3rd meal: my son orders the chicken and waffles, the gravy was the star of this dish! His discovery was mixing the warm syrup with the seasoned gravy to add the perfect sweet savory concoction to every chicken and waffle bite! 4the meal: my husband was craving a classic omelette! He chose to do the build drone omelette, he put exactly what he wanted on it nothing more nothing less! And of course he chose the waffle to go! The donuts tasted a day old and like they are made in oil they reheat and reuse way too many times. Instead of crediting items they may have been out of, they just gave us more of something else. Grub Hub took care of the that side of things but just the small bites I took were a complete waste of calories.

We ordered the grilled cheese with tomato soup, chicken and waffles, and the strawberry and cream waffle with Biscoff spread. Before I get to the food, I want to recognize the excellent customer service. Since it was my first visit, I had quite a few questions. The employee helping us was patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. She walked us through all of the flight options, and let us know that everything was made fresh to order, so there would be a short wait. I appreciated the transparency, and when our food arrived I soon found out it was worth the wait. The standout for me was the grilled cheese waffle with tomato soup. The soup tasted homemade, with bright tomato flavor and generous chunks of tomato throughout. It was fresh, and absolutely delicious. The grilled cheese featured a flavorful muenster and provolone instead of the standard cheddar you find everywhere else, and the waffle itself was crispy on the outside with a perfect gooey cheese pull. My friend enjoyed the strawberry and cream waffle with Biscoff spread since I'm not a huge fan of Biscoff. I did try the strawberries and cream, though, and both were excellent. The strawberries were fresh, sweet, and firm, while the cream tasted rich and homemade. The chicken and waffles were outstanding. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and well seasoned, and the waffle had a wonderful texture: light and airy inside with a crisp exterior. It was served with syrup and a remoulade-style sauce. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully decorated with fun murals, word art and nods to Round Rock. For a first visit, Waffle Love made a fantastic impression. The next time I'm in Round Rock, I'll be ordering another waffle flight, probably the same 3 selections, just without the Biscoff spread.

We got an order of a cheddar biscuit, GOAT toast, and a tomato and cheese focaccia. I enjoyed the biscuit the most. Sadly we weren't too happy about the other foods. I don't know if we have to ask to warm the food up but the items were cold so it was mediocre. Also, I thought I could take out the fig on the GOAT toast, but it is already mixed in the spread. It was a bit sour for my liking. The focaccia was airy, but it was like eating a pizza that was left out for a day. Service is great but we won't be coming back for the food unfortunately.
