I was not looking for alignment, my Prius's hood latch was broken and the smog check operator recommended them. Price was reasonable and as to time line I ordered the needed part and came in the next day for installation, this lessened my time without a car. I trusted them with my truck and all they did was a horrible job, I paid over $1,300 to them NOT including parts for them to assemble and install an engine. And even at the end I still have problems with my truck and I keep having to take it back so they can correct there mistakes. I had to correct a hose that they half assed that was NOT the correct one and wasn't letting my intake breathe correctly. Took it back the owner didn't even apologize for his half assed job! Also had to fix head gaskets because they were not properly sealed...with that being said,oil got into multiple ignition coils that I had to fix somewhere else. If I can give this place a negative star totally will do it, don't waste your time and money here. I can totally keep going with the list of mistakes they have done but, what's done is done and can't go back. Brought my truck & my own parts here to find out what the cost would be to replace the upper ball joints since I knew that was the problem with my suspension. A guy walked out to test drive it then he came back and gives me an expensive quote. I told him I would think about it and he charges me $60 to tell me that the ""problem were my upper ball joints"" WTH. I never came in to have my truck inspected for suspension issues. Spent more than one and a half hour for the alignment which is they're doing it manually. They dont have the machine to align the wheel and they put too much pressure on my brand new tires. Brought my vehicle here for alignment because steering was pulling to right. First warning sign.. no credit cards, not functioning sign. Sign has spider webs on it.. I guess they only want cash to avoid taxes... Warning sign 2, he has no computer alignment machine. How do you align my wheels without a computer laser machine?! He (the owner, Arturo, alfredo or something)didn't even ask me which way my car was pulling to, just took the keys and begins to tinker under my car. 30 minutes later he decided to put my car on this ramp (I don't know why). The ramp was in a wrong angle and my car scraped and busts loose a part (which I found out after I got home). 15 minutes later after he took it for a drive, he said it was done. With my fingers crossed, I paid and left. Immediately I notice that he DID NOT fix my steering issue. I took it back, and he tweaked it for 5 minutes and he drove off again to test it. This time, HE ONLY TIGHTENED THE STEERING WHEEL!!! It was so tight that after you complete your turn, the steering wheel stayed stuck in the same position. (Usually the steering wheel comes back after you complete the turn.) I shook my head and knew that he didn't know what he was doing, took it back and told him to at least loosen the steering wheel a little. He finished in 2 minutes and just handed me the keys without even testing it. I left in disgust as I knew I just lost my hard earned cash. NEVER COME HERE! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. read more

I took my truck in for an alignment at a different shop and they're saying I couldn't because of my rack and pinion bushings are shot. My friend recommended Long Beach Alignment and they were able to perform the alignment without a problem. I'll be going back Monday to get bushings done. Very fast and rapid with service. Alignments are fast and quick, my cars usually cost $40. I have been bringing my car there for the past 2 years. No place to rest except on benches outside so you will be a part of the element, and if your from long beach you know anahiem st is very industrial and just a hop and skip away from all the refinaries. Great advantage if you speak spanish fluently, but the owner does speak english well. Will go the extra mile at times for you. Prices for other services are really competitive. If you can put up with the grime and grit, of course its an auto shop in an industrial area with lots of trucks you may get a good deal here for your auto repair. read more

This place almost killed me ! I'll explain what happened. I brought my Toyota Tacoma here because I had been experiencing the following symptoms: tight steering, my steering would not recenter automatically, and it was very wobbly steering on the freeway. The owner or someone I assume is the owner, put it up on the rack and it sat there for about 40 minutes. Finally I saw him start to look at it. After about another 30 minutes of his distracted inspection he came back and said everything is good now. He explained to me that the tie rod had become bent a little bit somehow so he decided to "loosen it up a bit" he asked me if I wanted him to do an alignment so I said yes because I just had new tires put on as well. Once I drove the car away I realized the same problem persisted, it seemed a little better but I couldn't tell the difference that much and if they did an alignment I would never have known because it still was pulling a little. Today I was backing my truck out of a parking stall and the ball joint broke sending my truck crashing to the ground. If I had been driving on the freeway it's very likely I could've had a bad accident including the loss of my life. I had the ball joint repaired and the truck drives just like the first day I bought it. In fact the steering problem is completely gone which is why I brought it to this business in the first place. 0/10 would not recommend this place. read more

This place is really small but nice. I got an alignment here a few months ago and it was a straight as an line. A straight one. I like the fact that Arturo was very friendly and professional. He took me on a test drive with him since my check engine light was on and told me the possibilities of why it would be on. He instructed on some of the things he can do to try and fix it. He even reset the Check Engine light to check and see if it might be the gas cap leak. I liked the fact that he was really honest. The next day he called my cellphone to follow up on the vehicle, I thought this was very courteous. I enjoyed working with him and luckily my car hasn't been giving me any mechanical problems but I know if It did I would show up here. read more

It was a busy place. I'm a little leary while waiting since the work is very fast, nashcar pit mechanic will be proud. It is cheap (cash only). Now the bad is the work is not quality. I came here since my driver front tire is wearing excessively in the outer tire. Now after a month, the wear became accelarated and also the right tire starting to wear excessively on the outside, will need new tires. Before the work being done, I explained this to the mechanic and that the car run straight other than the 1 front tire wear. I don't have any confidence that any re-work will be done properly. Save your money and go to a more reputable business. I tried to save a few bucks and it's just not worth it, with time loss and double work. Arturo was attentive. I've been to many shops and stood at the door looking for eye contact so someone would tend to me. I left my car for brakes and rotors turned on all four wheels and my alignment was off. Work was done the same day. I received a call to approve quote. Today I'm rolling happy. My Tundra hasn't ran this good for months. Heres the trick...get there early or else you may wait long. Dont go to this place. Zero customer service, work is never done on the time it was promised, and there is only one person who can give out prices (the owner). They will give you one price then when the worl is done they will give you another price. Employees their are not that experienced they left alot of loose screwe on my car when i went it for a full tune up. Bottom line this place is shady, stay away! Very helpful owner/staff and I was surprised how clean it was for an old school shop. You can sit inside (tv with movie playing) or wait in the large outside patio area or even catch some sun on the benches placed for that reason. I'm not exactly sure if they are quick they are, as I dropped my car off and came back later to pick up. They offered a local ride but I had someone picking me up. When I picked up my car (2008 BMW 328) the owner of the shop came over reviewed some things I could do to make it better and offered to realign it if I replaced to those upgraded parts.
