From the outside, the Long Beach Antique Mall II is pretty unassuming, but once you enter the doors, you know you've found something spectacular, especially if you like old stuff. It can definitely be overwhelming as it's stacked from the floor to the ceiling with a variety of things to gawk at, but take your time, cause you don't know what you might miss. Like a lot of antique stores, it houses a bunch of people's different little shops, so the offerings and prices are all over the place. They have plenty of staff walking around to help you open display cases or to get things off high shelves/walls if you want a closer inspection. We went on a cooler day, so it was definitely chilly inside. I'm sure it's quite the opposite during the summer months, so going early is probably a better bet, especially if you want a more comfortable experience. Everyone was super nice that worked there. There's street parking as well as a small lot out front, so it's not really an issue. read more

Absolute the best around Long Beach and greater Long Beach area by far. If you love antiques and consignment shops and that sort of thing you'll love this place. It's nice and LARGE, chuck full of wonderful eclectic antiques from all decades, all types of collectibles things and large objects as well like signs and antique gas pumps and vending machines to Lighting fixtures handles and knobs and everything collectible in between from sellers renting their space and selling their items throughout the store! read more

I love this place. My friend & I went here a couple weeks ago & we really enjoyed it! I found some great items. I got a lot of help from the employees with finding certain items & navigating the store. One of them was nice enough to take a photo of us & post it on Instagram. Some things are expensive but most are at a reasonable price. I'll come again soon! read more

They have some cool items but the prices here are a bit on the expensive side for some of the more worn items with chips and nicks. It is not accessible if you have any mobility considerations and could be dangerous if you have small children who like to touch things. The aisles are very tight and there are a lot of breakable items at all levels and heights. I would NOT recommend visiting if either of those conditions apply to you. This is a fun place to wander through if you have the time. The items seem very vaguely grouped together in clumps but there wasn't any obvious organization so you kind of have to look in every nook and cranny. You'll never know what you will find, which can be part of the charm, but also frustrating if you have a specific idea of what you're looking for or have a time limit. The people working there were pretty nice, a little brusque, and sometimes, like a specific item in the shop, hard to find. read more

The Long Beach Antique Mall is by far one of my favorite places to visit. It's easy to get lost looking through all of the cool items, so plan on staying for a few hours. As you enter the mall you are greeted by friendly employees and the smell of fresh popped popcorn. Grab a bag to enjoy while browsing. Once you're done looking through the entire mall, don't forget to browse through the booths outside, you never know what you might find. Fantastic. I spent a lot of time wandering and checking out every nook and cranny of this mall. There were so many cool things and prices seemed fair. I was on vacation so my ability to take things home was limited. I ran across an album I hadn't seen before but loved the cover. It was a little (lot) more than I usually pay for old vinyl. I figured I'd look for it when I got home. Here we are 3 months later and no luck. I did find one copy online that with shipping was nearly double the asking price at the antique mall. Realizing my chances were slim I called and asked. Linda was great, she even knew the album I was talking about and found it very quickly. I even got a bit of a discount. She shipped it out the same day she received payment, insured, with signature confirmation. Seems that the customer service here is as antiquated as the wares and thank goodness for that. This is one of my favorite antique stores of all time! It's a mall where a lot of different dealers have your own little space. I noticed at this particular store than the dealers are very aggressive and they're constantly breathing in fresh inventory just about every single day. Hidden jewel right off PCH in Signal Hill. Be forewarned- this is not a quick trip in and out- you will be lost for hours looking over all the hidden nooks. Absolutely loved the selection- not a lot of junk! New items every weekend/ definitely worth the visit. read more

You see the drool from the better halfs face, we found a place off of PCH, just north of the LBC, bakelite galore with so much more. If you're into nostalgia, this is the place to go! I love everything about this place. It's a huge warehouse that's a blast from the past. Items like records, old Disney memorabilia, furniture, pinball machines, photographs, and random knick knacks. You're going to spend more than an hour here in order to see everything. There's also a fire truck in the other section of the store past the juke boxes. This is a cute place for an antiquing date. I definitely recommend a visit here! read more

I absolutely love coming here. I could spend hours looking at all the different antiques this place holds. It's a huge warehouse filled with antiq. I've been here once before and just stopped by not too long ago. The first time I stopped by I didn't remember this place being so hot. I picked up a complimentary fan to help with the heat inside but it was unbearable. Sadly, I left with just looking at 1/4 of this place. I think if I do return it will be during the winter when it's a lot cooler. For now, I'll avoid the summer heat because this place is not summer friendly. The workers here are super nice. They even offer us popcorn when they're making it. It's a lot of fun to just wander maybe you'll find something you might want. This is hands down the best antique mall in Long Beach. read more

Was in here earlier this week and can confirm what another reviewer said - they sell Nazi memorabilia. As a Jew, I can't patronize a store that profits off the genocide of my people. Such a shame because the place seemed really cool otherwise and there were other things I wanted to buy before I saw some items that appeal to "German military history enthusiasts." As much as I wanted to enjoy this place I couldn't. Not only are you welcomed by racist antiques they have no problem promoting or selling, but my partner and I felt like we were followed and kept an eye on more than the other customers. Not only that but I was asked to have my items held at the counter every time I picked something out even though I saw other customers hold their items. Basically it felt off being in there as a poc, and I rather search for antiques somewhere else. Where to start? This is by far the best Antique Mall I've been to in a long while. Wide diverse collection in all categories. Lots of smalls and unique pieces. Americana, art, jewelry (some amazing one of a kind pieces), porcelains, not much sterling though, ephemera, dishes, a bit of crystal, not a lot of furniture... which is fine with me, and the list goes on and on. A very friendly and helpful staff and Public restrooms. The shop is quite large with three buildings full of dealers specializing all across the board. Prices are very reasonable to moderate. Some rare items had higher prices but still well worth the asking price. I found bargains hiding through the place. A lot to look through... could spend an hour or the entire day. I went on a Tuesday afternoon with a friend. The great thing about this antique mall is that it's open until 7pm! The staff were very warm and welcoming; we even stopped and talked to one of them about her booth. The best part of the antique mall has to be the outdoor area, it's filled with gems such as a Ronald McDonald statue, a section dedicated to bar signs, a few road signs, old pinball machines, and even a couple of old telephone booths. I've been here a handful of times. Antiques is not for everyone just those with great imagination to make something work or blend with some modern piece. Great for accent pieces. The workers are super nice. I spend a lot of time just watching to see what calls me. Don't be a jerk grab something even if it's small besides they transported you to the past. This is probably my favorite spot on my regular Long Beach rotation for vintage treasures. Set up in an old, huge warehouse, this sprawling facility offers numerous nooks and grannies to lose yourself in and spent hours hunting. This mall is so large and each area has its own feel and vibe to it. I have found many a cool thing here, including my latest prized possession, a 1905 Craftsman Slag Glass and Oak lamp! MINORITIES BEWARE!! My husband and I visited the store looking for vintage jewelry for a graduation gift for our daughter. We were in the store less then 10 minutes before we realized we were being followed. One gentlemen followed from behind, and the other in front of us. Every time we noticed them, they would abruptly stop and pretend to be shopping. Its so unfortunate because they have great stuff and I found a few items I wanted to purchase. The store racial profiled my husband and I, and made us feel like our money was not welcomed. We left the store vowing to NEVER go back again. :( read more

I was willing to drop 150 + tax on a set of California Libbey glasses from the 1960's. The asking price 160.00 + tax for the two sets, I asked the old ladies at the counter for a 9 dollar break and asked if she would call her dealer for a bundle price. The answer I got was absolutely NOT!!! To add insult to injury her words came with offensive undertones, that was the short answer... She was not having it and her cohorts became very rude and gang up on the insults, "Go find them somewhere else" one lady threw in her comment!!! I will not give them the satisfaction of what they said Verbatim... On top of that I still spent 49.00 for 2 records and a small picture. I will definitely Never patronize this place EVER again, Shame on you ladies, you are what is wrong with the antique community. I understand that a 200.00 dollar sale with today's inflated dollar is not what it used to be...But it is a 200.00+ tax dollar sale. I'll guess I'll will spend my hard earned money on Ebay, Wait....Drum roll...YES! I found the exact same glasses on Ebay with free shipping for half the price!!! My credit card audibly gasped when I walked in this place. They have a wide selection of items from various sellers and a great collection of antique gas pumps and soft drink machines outdoors. Outdoors also has a fun selection of unique things you wouldn't find anywhere else... and it's these things, if chosen wisely, can really set off a space and give all your friends & family something to talk about.
