MINORITIES BEWARE!! My husband and I visited the store looking for vintage jewelry for a graduation gift for our daughter. We were in the store less then 10 minutes before we realized we were being followed. One gentlemen followed from behind, and the other in front of us. Every time we noticed them, they would abruptly stop and pretend to be shopping. Its so unfortunate because they have great stuff and I found a few items I wanted to purchase. The store racial profiled my husband and I, and made us feel like our money was not welcomed. We left the store vowing to NEVER go back again. :( read more

I was willing to drop 150 + tax on a set of California Libbey glasses from the 1960's. The asking price 160.00 + tax for the two sets, I asked the old ladies at the counter for a 9 dollar break and asked if she would call her dealer for a bundle price. The answer I got was absolutely NOT!!! To add insult to injury her words came with offensive undertones, that was the short answer... She was not having it and her cohorts became very rude and gang up on the insults, "Go find them somewhere else" one lady threw in her comment!!! I will not give them the satisfaction of what they said Verbatim... On top of that I still spent 49.00 for 2 records and a small picture. I will definitely Never patronize this place EVER again, Shame on you ladies, you are what is wrong with the antique community. I understand that a 200.00 dollar sale with today's inflated dollar is not what it used to be...But it is a 200.00+ tax dollar sale. I'll guess I'll will spend my hard earned money on Ebay, Wait....Drum roll...YES! I found the exact same glasses on Ebay with free shipping for half the price!!! My credit card audibly gasped when I walked in this place. They have a wide selection of items from various sellers and a great collection of antique gas pumps and soft drink machines outdoors. Outdoors also has a fun selection of unique things you wouldn't find anywhere else... and it's these things, if chosen wisely, can really set off a space and give all your friends & family something to talk about. Why: We both love perusing and shopping for antique/vintage paraphernalia. I first started coming to this location since I got engaged, looking for unique items for our wedding day. What makes this place different from other Antique Malls is that it looks less cluttered and doesn't smell as musty as some places can get. It could be the bigger space for each dealer, but I don't feel like I'm going to knock things over as I'm walking through. It has similar unique goods compared to other antique malls but with a simple layout, so I don't feel like I'm getting lost into some antique wormhole. But my ultimate favorite part of this location is its outdoor area. It is full of big outdoor vintage goods, like gas pumps, street signs, bicycles, game machines, gumball machines, etc. It's hard to explain, you have to see it for yourself. If you enjoy antiquing, definitely stop by this place. Even if you don't, you should pop in and browse around. The staff is super friendly, and will help you if you're looking for anything in particular. And the owner is my favorite for letting us take our photos here (I will upload as soon as we get them)! This a relatively well sorted, organized and stocked antique mall for and expansion. Although the location is funky it offers better access to parking. This place seems to have much larger variety and scale of objects to offer. There are all kinds of pre-war memorabilia, collectibles from all aras, local interest, archaic technology and furniture. THere is a good selection of pieces that are original, restored and for parts only condition of items. Prices seem on the high side for several of the items but with all of these places, price is negotiable. I enjoy this place a lot and try to make it part of the weekend rounds. read more

Absolutely love the Long Beach Antique Mall 2! I found the coolest kitchen containers; vintage, reeded glass and I use them for holding supplies in my office to give it a nice, warm vintage feel instead of the stuffy corporate office vibe. My husband and I also purchased the most amazing lamp here. We had looked everywhere for the perfect living room hanging lamp, online, every store in the Southland and finally we were introduced to the LBAM2 and found the PERFECT fit for our home. We wanted something to match our color, style and personalities and this place had it! Did I mention the folks running the show are the coolest? Super cool place. Definitely full of nostalgia and history. The staff is very nice and so their best to walk around, help, and open cases as needed. In March 2017 the store at 3100 East Pacific Coast Highway closed because the building's owner was tired of charging rent and thinks that he will turn into a field to grow strawberries on since so many strawberries from the neighborhood loiter outside the building after hours. This mean moving most of the inventory across the street to the 1851 Freeman Ave address. I was just amazed how well each of the individually rented vendor spaces were filled with combinations of every type of antique collectible that one could imagine! The staff goes out of its way to assist me with some items that were obviously locked down to prevent loss. I was able to find not only reasonably priced items in short order but priced affordable too. There is also a man there that will cover couches and furniture giving them a new feel and appearance. There is even a 1959 fire engine from Oklahoma with low miles that runs great up for sale. Gas pumps, vintage signs, clothing, pins, toys, dolls and various memorabilia all neatly placed individual spaces with wide enough aisles walk comfortably around. I even got some of my Christmas shopping done here in April already! There is ample parking right off the street so I was able to stave my energy to walk all the aisles. This antique and collectible mall rivals the flea market held each month at the Rose Bowl in terms of quality and quantity. How lucky we are in Southern California to have a store of this type so readily available and close by! read more

Wow is all I can say!! I had family from out of town and they love antiques like we do so we got a map of shops in the area. I was so impressed with the variety this shop has. It's super big so be sure to take at least half a day to brose. Both of my parents found a couple treasures to add to their collections, which is hard since they are so darn picky. They want to make it to California more often now yeah! We were told they even ship so I guess I will do my Christmas shopping there from now on. We were staying at a nearby hotel and I saw this was within walking distance and still open on a Sunday late afternoon so we took a walk over and had some fun walking around this place looking at all the old/odd things. They have a bog outdoor area with some big items like a big life-sized bear and a few cows, gas pumps, tools and automotive items. The inside had stall after stall of antiques and little goodies including clothing, accessories, jewelry, furniture, memorabilia, art and much much more. If you have some time to kill, are looking for something specific or just want to stroll down memory lane you won't be disappointed coming in here. The lady at the front counter was very helpful and seemed to know where everything was or if they even had something. Amazing selection! Not only did I find the most amazing bookshelf for my apartment but I was able to grab a ton of adorable vintage tins for my wedding centerpieces. There is such an amazing selection that it is almost impossible to leave empty handed. I also feel that the prices were fair and everyone who works there is super approachable, friendly and helpful as well. Great antique mall... Variety. Lots of guy stuff. Mid century abounds. Free popcorn. Several dealers have victorian. One dealer even has a whole booth of hard to find lamp parts!!!! The jewelry dealer has amazing items too-lots of sterling and artesian jewelry! Really a fun place to go just to browse or if your looking for a gift for yourself or a friend. I've been all over this country and across the big pond many times, and I'd be hard pressed to think of another antique store that has a larger variety of items. When I walked in the first time, it was what I call the wow moment, you'll see when you go for your first time. Each booth is rented out by a "seller", some of the items being sold is WAY overpriced. Really have to look hard to find a great deal. I went into both locations of the mall with very specific ideas about what I was looking for, often an unwise choice when it comes to buying used, but all the members of their staff who helped me, and several freely and kindly volunteered, did their utmost to accommodate me. They did it, what's more. They listened to everything I said, thought about it, and led me to things that fit my perimeters perfectly. Things I hadn't thought of and exceeded the vision I had already. It was a wonderful time, taking to my helpers and getting exactly what I wanted. I can't think of a single way it could have been improved and let me say, I'm usually pretty good at that. My mom and I both truly felt like Valued Customers. If I wasn't moving across the country in a couple days, I would make it my priority to go there as often as I found myself lacking a thing and excellent service. Thank you, everyone I spoke to. This is a very large antique mall that offers all sorts of different finds. This store is very big and very warm inside but they offer you hand held fans to use and have big fans all over their store. They have candy and popcorn for kids and the owners are very friendly. Went to the original Antique Mall and left disappointed. We saw the sign for this one across the street and figured we might as well try it out while we're here -- and I'm so happy we did! This store is larger, cleaner, and has an overall better selection of antique goods than the original. They have clothing, furniture, kitchenware, old soda machines, you name it they got it! I even saw a working firetruck sitting outside in the outdoor part of the store. Prices were not "cheap" but still fairly reasonable. I came here in hopes of purchasing antique flatware and left with a set of two spoons and forks for $10. I was so tempted to buy a vintage crate that people carried coca-cola bottles in but it was selling for $45! I checked online and people were selling the same product for that price (not counting shipping of course). This was my first time antique shopping and I loved having to search through everything. It made finding what you're looking for so much more rewarding. read more

I enjoyed my first visit here. Great variety, and a large selection of mid century which is what I was after. I could have easily spent another hour in this place, but I had my 2 year old in tow. It was well organized, and easy to navigate. I wish more of the vendors offered discounts because some booths were very expensive. The 25 cent popcorn was an awesome bonus at the end. This place is huge, but for as big as it is their stuff is mostly run of the mill average. A lot of their artworks are reproductions of originals so be wary of what you are buying. Be prepared to be followed around the store by a gang of key stone cops. They pretend to be customers shopping, but show up around every corner. It was more amusing watching them watch me and the other customers in the store. It would have been better to engage me in conversation about what I might be looking for than to assume I was going to steal something. I won't go back. read more

In my honest opinion this is not the place to go for antiques. If you're looking for 60-70's thrift items/furniture, old gas pumps, old soda machines, empty soda bottles, old coin operated game machines then by all means stop by. I would give this "Antique" mall one star if it wasn't for presence of the refurbished soda machines & gas pumps at the front of the store, which I can see someone being very interested in. After exploring the rest of the "mall" all I saw was old junky items, rusted & very dirty... I guess one man's trash is another man's trash? And honestly, their items are the most OVER PRICED that I've seen in SoCal and not even worth buying. One example, I was looking at some vintage 1980's (not antique) mugs that I've seen at other Antique stores in Orange Circle and they were priced at $35.00 for ONE mug. That same mug I spied at Orange Circle for roughly $5-$6 dollars. The jewelry is also a let down. Newer jewelry that looks antique but is definitely not but still carries a hefty price tag. The place itself is dirty, smelly and HOT. They had a few fans but it was boiling inside..... and I went on a somewhat cooler day. Had I not I'd have probably fainted within 10 minutes inside. Their location across the street isn't great either (which is a different review altogether). Sum it up, not worth the trip unless you are seeking the before mentioned items..... read more
