I definitely needed to get this fixed ASAP. Did a bit of research on good 'ol Yelp for a local mobile auto glass shop and LBMAG was one that caught my eyes with a decent number of reviews. I waited till they opened at 8 am, asked for a quote, and came out to less than $300. They were able to fit me in for 10 am - 12 pm same day. The guy came pretty close to 10 am and was done in about 20-30 minutes. Made sure the broken glass that was inside my car was all vacuumed as well. Last night someone broke one of the passenger vent window on my wife's car. Since we street park, it had to be fixed right away. First I called my insurance, they said it wasn't covered, but referred me to the company they go through, with a discount. Called them, and they quoted $350.00 plus tax and fees, and the next available time was in two weeks. So onto Yelp I went, and found Long Beach Mobile. First they got my car info, and made sure they had the window glass need for the repair. Then they gave me a quote, $199.00 cash, or $220.00 card. Then they said they could fix it today. I said yes please and scheduled a time when my wife would be back with the car. Their repair man was there on time, fixed the broken window, cleaned the broken glass in the back seat, and even tried to repair some damaged to the door that was done when the person broke the window. In all it took about 30 minutes. The repairs were down correctly, and the transaction was very easy and professional. If I can give this business zero stars I would. Sept. 9th I received service by these folks. Everything went well in the beginning. They quoted me a price for 2 windows and even charged me $99 for a deposit. I agreed. However, when they came, the guy who was super rude and unprofessional, installed 1 glass which i originally made the deal 2 glass for a standard price. Not only did they steal from me, but i got scammed. They ended up charging me $250 for 1 door glass when it was suppose to be for 2 AND they also took the deposit. So at the end i paid $349 for a freaking door glass. They didnt keep their end of the deal and that was very unfortunately. Thankfully, I did find an auto glass in long beach which were amazing. I regret using these folks to do any business. If you can stay away, that is great! read more

After the heavy winds, many palm fronds from the street landed and created a massive radial crack in the middle of my windshield that I'd been putting off replacing. I was dreading comparing prices and wasting a whole day waiting around. BUT when I called Long Beach Auto Glass (LBAG), the phone representative was professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly, despite my being unavailable for the initial time that he proposed (I needed an afternoon time). Although most repair services give a really wide range of time, LBAG gave me a 2 hour window so I did not have to commit your entire day/afternoon waiting around. I received a call from LBAG at 2:50pm letting me know that their technician was going to arrive in 10 minutes. The technician arrived promptly, was polite and professional, and finished the replacement in about 30 minutes. I paid, was given an email receipt, and we went on with ours days. Quick response and got to my house fast. Called them to fix a chip in my windshield. Right after they finished it looked good. But an hour or so later, I went to drive somewhere and the chip looked exactly the same as before they came. So the chip wasn't actually fixed it seems. Overall, waste of money. My car window had been smashed in and I had cleaned all the broken glass so that I could cardboard it closed for the time being. I had used this service to replace my windshield before and they had done a good job, so I called them to replace this one. The technician came and replaced it and the job he did was fine. The issue I have is that he left the broken glass that was still in the window frame all over my driveway and didn't say anything about it. I didn't notice it at first because I was focused on the window when he finished the job but I went out to my driveway a while later and noticed all the broken glass left strewn all over my driveway. I live in a back house and we have three dogs and the front house neighbors have a toddler who all play on our driveway and I'm lucky that none of them have glass shards in their paws/feet as I definitely got cut by shards when cleaning it the first time. It would've been so easy for the tech to have put down a drop cloth to catch any glass or at the very least to have SAID SOMETHING so that I would have known. Getting ready for work this morning, my neighbor told me some scumbag had smashed my rear passenger window and stolen my backpack. Sh!t! After calling my insurance company, they referred me to a place in Pico Rivera that would cost nearly $400. I didn't want to drive to Pico Rivera in traffic, and $400 was pretty steep, so based on Yelp reviews I called Long Beach Mobile Glass. I didn't want to leave my car on the street overnight with the busted out window, and Tony said he could come by around 6:00, his last appointment of the day. He showed up and promptly broke out a generator and a vacuum, and cleaned up the thousands of glass fragments. The repair itself, which he said would take around 40 minutes, took almost two hours because of complications--he had to remove the window track and repair the track and the actuator. After finishing the installation, he carefully cleaned the new glass, the surrounding areas, and gave the car floor a final vacuum. Despite the length of the repair, he still stuck to the price he quoted me--which was hundreds less that the shop my insurance company referred me to. We needed this thing fixed, and now! So I thought of, if I started looking local, just maybe I might HIT GOLD. Well I did, with Long Beach windshield repair. I called and the young lady who helped me checked the inventory and BINGO, it was in stock, now I was a little skeptical cause that chain account that I GAMBLED with, well they already brought out the wrong one, and failed us. So again, when I called Long Beach Winshield around 4:00 p.m. they wanted to come out and take care of the van right then, and were willing to come out to the location now! Unfortunately that's not allowed for our employees, or this thing would have been fix in a couple of hours. Too bad that couldn't happen. Well I can't say more about this place but, they are great at what they do. A lot of the reviews here say their car was taken care of within a few hours. Its true they do have some pretty fast service. So please give em a call, let them help you. The rear passenger window of my car exploded while I was driving (?) and Geico couldn't get me an appointment with Safelite until a week later. I couldn't drive around in the rain with a missing window, nor could I park it anywhere safely except for my home parking building. This would require renting a car in order to get to work. After calling several glass places, LB Mobile came to my home same day, did a gorgeous job, charged less than all the other quotes, and now I have a warranty on the window for the life of the car.
