The showed up when they felt like it expecting someone to be here for them, never showed up when they said they would. A 1 day shower took now over a month and that was after waiting 3 months for them to finally tell me they could start. Put up wrong items in my shower, still waiting on them to come back with correct stuff. I grossly overpaid $15,000 for a $3,000 project and now they will not even give me compensation. Ended up putting my own fence up costing me $3,300 versus the quoted $14,300. Yes you read that right! I have been receiving non-stop spam phone calls from Long Home Products for about a week now. They left a couple voicemails at first, claiming they were responding to an online inquiry submitted by "Samantha" (not my name) about window replacement. I have never contacted this business in any manner, and I don't know how they got a hold of my phone number. Even though I block their number every time a call comes through, they switch to a different number and call again. To be clear, I have never purchased anything from this company (I don't even live in their service area). However, I think that it is important for anyone considering doing business with them to be aware of what they may do with your contact information. read more

She called from a spoofed Leesburg, VA phone number (can't call it back, instant disconnect). I never inquired about roof replacement or other services from this company. My number is on the Do Not Call List and I'm really tired of unsolicited calls like this. I won't do business with companies that telemarket and disregard the Do Not Call List. Replaced Roof The Sales Representative was very knowledgeable & courteous. The process was done in two days and the workers were supervised & the work was inspected. They cleaned up throughout the process and I was given pictures of the work done. I am happy with the finished product & materials that were use. This company has done us wrong from the beginning and still is. I'm not going to get into the details because its going to become a legal matter. Very poor communication, very rude over the phone, caught in several lies, installed glass incorrectly, but grab bars in wrong places so now the doors need to be replaced cause of that along with part of my wall. We placed many calls with never a return call. The financial company calls to remind me of payments, I'm disabled physically and mentally and they were told that from the beginning and took advantage of that I believe. There ratings are so fake after reading tons of complaints. I'm definitely going to the better business bureau..will find out how that goes for now read more

I signed up with Long Home Bath to get a new shower installed in Nov '23. And since then there have been several delays and missteps with getting the shower finished. 1. After the first day of install, the installers were supposed to finish the shower walls and base (without the glass) but had to come back the next day, work that I was told was going to take only 1 day. 2. After returning the next day of install, the installers couldn't finish the base because the base broke. They had to order a new base and it wasn't installed for another week later. At this point, the installers have come to my house 3 times to put in the shower walls/base. 3. The next step was to get the glass door measured and installed. We were able to get the door measurements scheduled and done within a reasonable time and the glass ordered via Priority. Though once the glass came in from the manufacturer, it was broken which delayed the timeframe once again. 4. The new glass was ordered but then got caught up in the holiday delivery delays. It is now Jan '24 and I'm still waiting on my shower to be finished. 5. I've tried over several weeks to get in contact with Wayne Chapin, the manager, of my account. He took so long to return my calls that my customer rep was trying to help me get in contact with him as well. Once I finally got him on the phone, he did not listen to what I was saying. He tried to make excuses and turn it around, and blame me for the delays. It was extremely poor customer service and a disappointing conversation. 6. At the end of the phone call, Wayne said he was going to call me back within the hour to give me a response on how he could help. And it's now been several days and I still haven't heard back from him. What I didn't sign up for was all the broken parts resulting in months delays and on top of that ... bad customer service from a manager. I'm frustrated and not happy to say the least with this experience, especially after spending so much money for the shower, being told I'm to blame as a paying customer and reassured from the sales rep that this would be an easy process. Ray Witte and his team informed me throughout the day of the water damage they found and the progress they were making. They minimized the disruption and thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. The price and financing were terrific, too. Flat roofs require special expertise to install so I am relieved that they did such a professional job and guaranteed their work. We were initially very impressed by the estimator; however, it went downhill when we got to the cost. We very clearly told him that we would like to get other estimates and he proceeded to gradually take $10,000 off of the initial estimate (the number left was still very high for a small roof). We kept insisting that we would not make a decision that same day and he was just not understanding. I understand the industry and I rarely complain about a service - much less leave a review. However, after a few days to think about it, I am upset with the behavior from the estimator. He clearly mentioned that he was not going to pressure us on making a decision. When he kept insisting, I mentioned that I was feeling pressure from him. He quickly responded by saying that what I was feeling was something that I must have been internalizing and it was not directly related to him. My partner and I both felt the same way about the decision, but I was the one that told him "no". He then began asking my partner about his thoughts on it. He clearly did not read the room and he stayed for almost 3 hours! I very politely told him that we had somewhere to be, but he did not take the hint. Finally, he initially told us that our conversation was being recorded for quality assurance. At one point he allowed us a moment of privacy to talk about the decision amongst ourselves. It was obviously a ploy because he so happened to leave all his electronic devices on the table in front of us. That did not sit well with me. If you are looking for a quick free estimate and would like to look around for a few different options, I do not recommend making an appointment. read more

It took them four months to complete a four day roof job. The first crew didn't tarp it properly and our living room literally flooded during a rain storm. Four days later the same exact thing happened in our master bedroom. Ceilings, walls, insulation and hardwood floors all needed to be replaced. This set up a four month indoor construction project that we had to endure. We had out of pocket expenses including but not limited to paint, packing and unpacking our home, and repair of our shorted out security system. $3100 they now refuse to reimburse after agreeing to it. Further more the contract clearly states bronze drip edge, and we have white on cedar trim! I only wish I could post pictures. Nightmare in NH. Think twice. Get a quote from Home Depot or Lowe's. They will be less expensive and I guarantee better support and customer service. read more

I was to have a shower installed. The sales pitch meeting was to be about 1 hour. After 51/2 hours it was finally done. Also gave us a discount offer for giving a great review. Shower to be installed in 4 to 12 weeks. At 12 weeks i called. They set up an appointment for sunday. They forgot the heat for that room had to be moved and wanted to add substantial $ to the already very expensive price. Nothing went well. Representatives were beyond arrogant. I was given an option to cancel which I gladly took. Got a quote from another company for a ridiculous amount less. Buyer beware and shop around. This was the WORST experience I have had. Worked all day. Good. Finished at 9pm. Awesome. Cleaned up in the dark. Not good. They didn't clean up my backyard when finished. I did. So 2 days later I got a nail in my tire. SEE PIC. I haven't really used my attic ( I just moved in my house). They didn't clean that up either SEE PIC. When I called and asked what they could do, they told me I was out of luck and it wasn't there problem. I spent $6000 on a roof and had to clean up my yard, attic, am still pulling nails out of my front yard a month later and spent an extra $160 to patch and then replace my tire. 9 Months later Roof is leaking. Chad is still a douche. Was called by Bill Kassakatis the Vice President of Production for asking to schedule a 5pm appointment. Came back after a lot and I mean a lot of back and forth. LHP brochure claims-quality products, excellent communication and unparallel craftmanship. I am still waiting for all of the above to happen. We met with LHP - Product Specialist, took pictures of our order materials in April. Our bathroom install was set for June 8, 2024. I was very excited and eagerly awaited the new upgrades. The crew came and set up and started their work. Communication was an issue due to a language barrier but we push through until I noticed that the acrylic walls on my bath was not what I had ordered. Let just say everything went down from that point. I texted and called and finally the PM responded and it took LHP 4 days to make a decision. In the meantime, my bathroom is unfinished, the communication is poor. If I didn't text or call LHP, I would still be waiting for a solution. It's now July 2, 2024, the countertop with the sink does not fit the vanity that was ordered. I texted the Project Manager and I will have to wait another 10 business days. In the meantime, my full bath cannot be used and I have guess coming to my home for July 4th holiday. This has been a stressful process with many inconveniences for me and my family, There is no urgency or empathy for what my family and I are going thru with this upgrade. BUYER Beware! read more

Completely unprofessional from start to finish. Long Roof installed a new roof on our home in 2015. During the heavy rains and ice that we had In February, the roof leaked and water poured through our ceiling. First "inspector" who came out to our house to see the problem, arrived in an unmarked truck. He told us part of the problem was from a hole created by a fallen branch but that Long Roof would fix inside and outside because of the warranty; we would have to pay for the area damaged by the stick. We never received a contract or an invoice. A "customer service" rep called me and said it would be $1400! I asked repeatedly to speak to a manager (they are all in a meeting - unusual given Covid). I asked for a breakdown, a contract, an explanation, anything. This went on for about 2 weeks. Then suddenly, they offered to do the job for $1100. Ok, I still want to see the breakdown and what part of the initial roof they would honor. Another week passed. Finally a repairman shows up (again in an unmarked truck) and starts fixing the wrong side of the roof. He went on to do many repairs that day & then banged on our front door demanding a check. Completely unprofessional and Long Roof maintains that the 2 men, inspector and repairman, are "contractors" and they are not responsible for what they said. Hmm...then how are they responsible for Long Roof getting paid? Interesting. There are more complaints but I can't waste another minute on them. Do not use Long Roof. read more

Our $17000 long bath experience. We have just moved into our new home August 2021. One shower needed to be redone immediately. I am the caretaker to a 78 year old man with dementia and this is his bathroom. We decided to go with Long Baths. A couple of weeks after our order, we get a call that they no longer make the shelves in the pattern that we chose. We had to choose another pattern. From the beginning didn't get what we wanted. Christmas eve installation only took a couple of hours.   After install I started receiving emails and a phone call at least once a week for the next couple of months asking me to do a review on their product.   Beginning of March  2022 I went to be sure it was clean for guests. I found the shower door off its track, the wheel at the top of the door was broken. Then I noticed that there was a ring around the drain because it was not draining properly. This is a slip hazard for Dennis who has not that great of balance or muscle strength. I starting cleaning and the shower hose was not working, only the stationary head was working (putting out low water pressure). I called and a manager came out within a couple of days and fixed the door. He said he would have to order a new basin and there would be a plumber to come fix the hose. In April I got a email saying the part was ordered. After repeated calls over several months I finally got a plumber to come out and fix the hose. The first plumber was here about an hour and said they sent the wrong plumber. Later two guys came and were here for a few hours. They said "The plumbing was not done right the first time and had to completely redo it." The hose now works but the water pressure is awful. The water trickles out of the hose and softly drops down from the head no pressure in either. This bathroom is on the second floor. I have a shower in the attic with great pressure. They put the cheapest shower head on possible. It has no adjustments to it, one setting.   I called and called and called. One operator that I spoke to told me that that email confirmation I got back in April was just a courtesy emailI and meant nothing, that the part was not ordered. I finally got to speak to a manager named Wayne about the problem. Then a couple of days later I get another call from an operator who said that Wayne had spoken to me and we decided to have someone come out and try to fix the problem with caulk. I said no I did not speak to Wayne about that. The part was supposed to be ordered and replaced, not try to fix it. Wayne called me and in our conversation I told Wayne that "I am writing all of this down and going to submit it to their Shareholders and CEO." He said "go ahead." I said "Thank you for the permission. I am going to." He ended the phone call and the following day two men showed up to my surprise. It was never confirmed that they were coming nor a time since our call was ended so abruptly. They determined the same thing the first manager determined, that the part was made wrong and needed to be remade. I never spoke to Wayne again and now it has been over 9 months since the they were here and over a year since the beginning installation and we still don't have a proper shower with water pressure eve. On Sunday January 15th 2023 I accidentally called long offices While checking numbers and dates. I received a call back later that evening from an operator. I explained my situation to him. He said that he sees Wayne from time to time and would let him know. I still have not spoken to Wayne.    On January 28th I received a call from a man in the officers at long products. He said that my file has come across his desk and he saw that things are not going well. He wanted to call and let me know that my new bathroom is in and would like to schedule an appointment. I said I would like your products removed and a refund. I have gone through so much over the last year. He said let's make this right. I said where is my compensation for everything I have gone through?  He asked what I thought would be fair compensation. I replied with let's let the company showed me how bad they really feel. He said it's Saturday let me talk to the bosses on Monday. It is now been 2 weeks I've heard nothing.  Every single person I have talked to at Long products has fed me the same line of bull "we are a really sorry let's make this right." My next step is filing a claim against their bond with the Maryland licensing board. Then an attorney to get my money back read more

We DO NOT recommend this Company. It was high pressure sales from the time Jonathan showed (June 2023) up and 4 hours later I should have known better. We had an awful experince with the roof installation. The Crew was very disrespectful to our home and property and left a huge mess inside and out. They damaged a custom made headboard and did not communicate with us with regards to the skylight installation. Only one person on the crew of 8 or could speak english and that was not very well. We were promised some compensation for the trouble and we had to rewrite a company review for them. I just wrote an honest evaluation of the stuff that happened and Long Home Products did not like it. It's been well over 2 months since I had to rewrite the review and we have not received the compensation they promised and they are ghosting us. They promised the job would be completed in 6 weeks. Middle of August rolls around we have not heard a peep from them. I called and lo and behold they need to special order 2 more new skylights, where originally they only needed one. We have 5 skylights and they needed to order more because of the flashing. They came out (Aug 2023) and measured the skylights and left me with the impression of which ones were going to be replaced. Well it wasn't until Thanksgiving they said they finally had all the materials and thats not even true because the day they showed up (Dec 5th) they decided they needed 2 more skylights. And because of that the foreman was not around watching these clowns ripping off the skylights over the bedrooms where they allowed all the roofing debris to fall into the house and on the bed and headboard creating one hell of a mess and damage to the custom headboard. And they were ripping these skylights off even though they didn't have the new skylights to replace them, the foreman had to run out to get them and came back over 4 hours later. Lucky for us he was able to find them. On top of all this the crew threw the skylights off the roof onto the driveway where they smashed and created a serious mess. We are still picking up glass that is in the grass. Overall it was a FIASCO. On the bright side of this mess, one person stood out and was very helpful and that was the foreman Jason. With the amount of money we paid for the installation of a new shower in our master bath room, we expected at least "fair" service. Service has been poor. On their first attempt at a proper installation, the top (ceiling) part of the shower was not installed, as it should have been, and as promised. A second installation appointment had to be set up. Two strips were installed on the floor next to the shower. One was cut too short, so the installer glued in a small piece to finish it. It looked pretty bad, necessitating a third installation appointment A metal part was the wrong color in the shower. This was eventually fixed after a few calls. Now, since the shower is usable (kind of), we discovered that the glass door leaks (a lot) onto the bathroom floor. It doesn't reach down far enough to stop water. The opening is 2 ft long and 1/2 inch tall (I just now measured the gap for this report). We have made four appointments to repair this particular problem & have stayed home for hours waiting for the repair person. As of today, April 20, 2023, the problem remains. As with the three other Long Home promises, today's appointment was not kept. To make matters worse, there has never been a call to us on any of these appointments saying that the appointment would not take place. This nightmare started Saturday, January 14th, with a visit from a Long Bath sales person who made lots of promises. We are still not satisfied and Long Bath seems not to care. I don't recommend long roofing because, once they finished installing my roof, another roofing company informed me, long Roofing did not change 2 pipe boots. The pipe boots go along with roof changes because if they are not changed, water can seek through and go into attic, etc. Also, I noticed one chimney cap came up missing. I ask them about the misapplied, I wanted to be reimbursed but, they never did. read more

We received an estimate to replace roof - $60,000. We did not have Long do the work, but opted for a reputable roofer who charged $23,000. The problem is that I am now receiving annoying marketing calls on my cell phone several times a day. I keep blocking the caller but they use several different numbers. I would avoid them. read more
