I am sharing my experience with Blossom Bariatrics so others can make an informed decision…read more I canceled my surgery during my pre op consultation after a thoughtful discussion with Dr. Apel. We agreed that my strong response to GLP medication was worth continuing and that surgery might not be necessary. I genuinely believe Dr. Apel had my best interests at heart, and I appreciated his honesty and guidance in that moment. I fully understood that I would lose my $500 fee to hold my surgery date. What I did not expect was to later receive a bill for over $10,000 labeled as pre op charges. We were told at the time of cancellation that any additional fee would be nominal. When we attempted to get clarification, Nick was consistently rude, dismissive, and unwilling to help. He refused to provide any itemized breakdown explaining how the $10,000 amount was calculated. This made the situation even more frustrating and difficult to navigate. Dr. Matt himself stated that the fee was unreasonable and told us he would strongly advocate on my behalf. He later confirmed that he had done so. Despite this, when we followed up with Nick again, he would not budge on the amount or offer any transparency regarding itemization. At this point, we are being forced to pursue legal action to resolve this matter. This has been incredibly stressful and disappointing, especially after initially having such a positive clinical experience with the physician. I would advise anyone considering Blossom to ask very direct questions in writing about all possible financial obligations before proceeding. Note: they also disabled their google reviews. :(

Immediately I was welcomed with such great service by Sam and felt a very calm vibe when walking in. I was taken care of by the wonderful Geneva and had the most relaxing facial I've ever had! My husband also tagged along and got a b12 and supplement IV drip by Dr. Irene that he absolutely loved and needed. She took the best care of him and helped to comfort him as he is afraid of needles and got a little scared and sweaty once the needle went in. A fan was brought to him as well as a crisp sparkling water that calmed him leaving him to enjoy all the hydration of the IV drip.
