All I wanted was the $95 Diagnostic check . Then without asking me , took apart my older plugs & coils making the check engine light come on ( for the 1st and only time in 4 years ) . They said I need an engine & now the car will not pass emissions without big $ . They were rude when I went in and asked about the extra unauthorized work they did . NEVER go there ! IMO Their Arrow Exterminator contract should keep them busy without making my car where it has to be worked on . Sad indeed read more

I highly recommend Long Tire. I am a former mechanic so I mainly work on my cars at home but take them to Long Tire for things I cannot do such as tire mounting and alignments. Their prices are reasonable and I have always gotten an alignment spec sheet. It's nice to have a shop so close to home that I can trust. read more

This place is an ABSOLUTE JOKE. This place let my husband drive off with NO BRAKES!!! Said they were at 70% life and risked his life. The truck was shuddering after they touched it we had to go to another placed for them to tell us that all breakes were totally gone and the rotors needed replacing. We brought it back here for them to not apologize but admitted they didn't tell him. They said they would get everything done in 45 minutes and 4 hours later these A holes are not working on the thing but standing there with hands in their pockets complaining about the customers in their waiting room. We confronted them and they told us they put on the wrong seals and the rotor is stuck. NO APOLOGIES, NO SESNSE OF URGENY NOT A CARE IN THE WORLD. The manager/ owner never offered even a discount. I have never written a bad review for a company but this is something else. Absolutely despicable people. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE, YOU ARE NOT SAFE. And for the people that work there, this will be reported to the CFPB. read more

Jim and Will are the best. I have been going there for over 25 years. A place that will not "find something wrong " just to make a buck. I've sent my daughters to have their vehicles worked on and never worried they would be taken advantage of and overcharged. Again, the best! read more

Don't "brake" for this place. Just drive on by. Why? Their customer service is as flat as a busted tire. I called them upon a recommendation by my mechanic to check my vehicle's alignment. I was told that there was one alignment underway and that they could help me after that one in about 45 minutes. I looked at the clock and asked, "How about 3:30?" which was an hour away. He answered "Yes!" I was there at 3:29 and the guy at the counter told me a very different story. They had three alignments ahead of me and they do not ever make appointments. When I explained the phone call conversation, he was not phased and had no response. I asked him to let the person who answers their phones know that they should stop taking appointments. He shrugged and didn't say anything. Just from this poor counter service, it's my conclusion that they do not value their customers. A place such as this that shows you upfront and right away how little they care about you being inconvenienced is not a place I want tinkering with my only ride to and from work. Needed new tires for my Highlander. Called Long Tire at 7:30 a.m., dropped off at 8:00 a.m. the same day and work was completed by 10:30 a.m. Cost was reasonable, staff was friendly and work was high quality. This is definitely my new place for tires and brakes!! :) read more

Rip off artists. I took my car in for front brakes, get it back and it shakes when you stop, like the rotors are not right. Call them and the tell me that is the transmission and unless I replace it this is the best it will do. Drive around for a year with it. Take it to them for rear brakes and tell them to have s different tech church it out. Turns out the rotors are bad and the charge me to fix it. This is one of those places you hear about. As for total satisfaction, I was disappointed, no one explained to me my alignment results and my light sensors are on ( you would think someone one recommend or would have mentioned it).I know TPMS are a pain but while you have the tire off it should have been addressed ( I think ) but I am no expert read more

I have purchased tires and have had service work done by them for years. I like the fact that they explain (and will show you) the issue of why you need something done. They are not on commission like other shops. I don't like how you bring a car in for an oil change at other shops and they push you to do other stuff. You don't get that sales BS at Long. They do more than just tires. They do great repair work. This is the most honest shop I've ever been to. I had a problem with my steering system making noise. I thought I needed a new power steering pump. I expected to get an estimate for hundreds of dollars. They said the power steering fluid was low and causing the problem. They topped off the fluid and the problem was gone. They didn't even charge me! read more

I was excited about my aftermarket upgrade work that Long & Tire originally said they could perform. The experience did not live to those emotions. I stopped by on a Friday and asked the acting manager and tech about installing some after market parts. After the manufacturer instructions were provided, I was told install could be had in 2 hours and tech would be in bright and early Monday for install. I arrived Monday 7:30 Monday and there was a different manager there. It was fine, I explained who I saw on Friday and that I was told they would be there Monday for the early appointment. After about 40min of waiting, there was no movement on my vehicle and tech and manager I spoke to on Friday were not there. I asked the current manager if I could reschedule and he said he would call me when tech arrived for a new time. Ok, I left. After about an hour and a half later I had not received a call, so I called Long/Tire back. They had forgot to call me. Again, I was ok with that. Things get hectic sometimes. I was told to come in later that week at same time and techs were good on install and didn't need manufactures instructions. I came in Thursday and saw the first manager I spoke with. There was some explanation that word was not passed down that someone else was supposed to do the work instead of the original tech. Still, I was not concerned about Monday. I just was excited to have work complete. My vehicle was brought in and after about 30 minutes in the shop, I was told that the work would take double the time originally estimated to complete. They needed to do extra work to get to the area. I just could not accept this difference in price. Especially when I was originally told 2 hours and not 4 hours, and techs saw instructions before the work and even didn't need them in one case. Even though this upgrade is not something that is done everyday, I did explain that across parts of the country, shops are getting it done in about 2 hours without having to go through the relocation. I left again, this time more disappointed then the first. However, I called back the next day to see if I could work with the shop by providing the shop with a 15 min video example of the install without the extra relocation work. Again, I was excited that as they said they would look and give me a call back. But not 3 minutes later the call back was not what I was expecting. I was told they would pass on the work due to some miscommunication or misinformation. So this veteran is disappointed and I am not sure if I was being implicated in misinformation! I showed manufactures instructions and was told from the Long's professional installers it could be done in 2 hours. I had a couple of early mornings scheduled that both went south. I give higher than 1 stars because there are a couple of people there who are great to talk to.. But disappointing experience overall. read more
