We're visiting from Glendale/Peoria, AZ and we were looking for something quick and easy. If you're looking for a place just like that, this would be a it. My boyfriend and I both ordered burgers. He ordered bone out wings for his appetizer. He said they were decent. I ordered fried zucchini and they were a bit over done. The burgers were juicy/greasy and they're big. Beautiful location, friendly staff; not sure what went wrong. We waited for over an hour to get our food, only for it to be lukewarm and for one meal to have been completely forgotten. Maybe they were short staffed, I don't know, but paying over $80+ for three cold sandwiches, an appetizer plate, and one decent burger after waiting for over an hour was beyond frustrating. Fortunately they comped the meal that was never put on the order. I wish I had a better review, I only gave two stars because of how friendly the staff was whenever they came out. read more

Four of us came here for a late lunch. Waitress was nice, but service was slow, only 1 other table with customers. I ordered the bbq pork sandwich and it was just ok, my husband ordered a cheeseburger and it was so overcooked he only ate about half of it. The rest of the table ordered wings and they liked them. The Love Shack Bar @ Long Wong's!!! Highly recommend. The back patio is pup friendly, bar help very friendly! So it's Long-Wong's food with an outdoor dining experience (with ur pup). We made happy hour, 3 26oz beer mugs, and we shared the green chili burger, Salt & pepper warm chicharrones & jalapeños poppers. We are all stuffed and under $40!! Just moved to the area so trying out the restaurants. Went in on a Friday and I a. m a fish fry fanatic. Love a cod or pollock lightly batters with some good tarter sauce. Good wings for fairly cheap.... I'd say great except the creamy Parmesan and teriyaki pineapple were saturated in sauce. The spicy honey and spicy BBQ were 5 stars!!! The beer flights were cheap and delicious. $1 draft beers were one of the specials, unfortunately they were out of Coors Light but I'm sure I'll live. Wow! What a pleasant surprise to find in the white mountains! My husband and I were excited to try it (since we've heard all the raves about the Two Hippies restaurants in the Phoenix area) and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was fun, laidback, and totally comfortable. There was a game room in the back, but we had so much fun talking about all the funky decor that we never even played games. Our server was great! She was very friendly, and stayed on top of all our needs. The drink menu was impressive too. It's hard to find places that serve great craft beers in the area, but this place had a great selection. Our food was ready quickly too. My husband and I got burgers, and they were fantastic! They were huge and so juicy and flavorful. He got fries (homestyle, with the skins on, loved them), and I upgraded to the onions rings (I HIGHLY recommend them). Our kids enjoyed classic kids' options on the kids' menu. They ate way more than they usually do at restaurants. (Yay!) We all had leftover food, even though we ate till we were stuffed. I was shocked that our bill was only $32! We felt like we got a lot of really good food for our money. We'll definitely be back! Had pizza, wings and sandwiches for an employee party. Wings were a bit over cooked but still delicious! Sandwiches were so good we ended up ordering extra for take home. Pizza was good but not Chicago or New York class.. Awesome bottled beer selection id recommend a designated driver.. Went there with friends, it took 15 minutes for our drink and food order to be taken. Everyone else got their food and we waited, and waited, and waited. 30 minutes later I asked for the bill for our drinks and was told that our order just came to the window. Two Hippies sums up the atmosphere and available number of staff, the atmosphere is amazing, from the open seating at the bar, to the patio area. If only the food and service matched the ambience. Decent selection of beers on tap and bottle, and ice cold. Inside decor is interesting and fun. Wings were pretty darn good, but their sandwiches are really, really good with HUGE portions. I'm a big guy and still had to take 1/2 home with me! Staff has always been pleasant and attentive. Kid friendly with a game room. Visited on 7/7/13- bland pancakes and waffles. Food took a while and waitress got order wrong but did comp the wrong meal on the bill. Found green pepper and mushrooms in my pancakes and onions in my eggs. Fruit bowl was 15 green grapes and canned pineapple. Two Hippies is a fun place with decent food for a good price. The portions are huge!! My husband loved the honey hot wings and I thought the fish tacos were amazing--I could only eat half of one of the two tacos they give you--that's how big they are! Decided to try this new restaurant. Once seated realized there was a wasp flying around because windows were open with no screens. Told Manager and he just shooed the wasp away to another window. Wasp came back again making me very uncomfortable so a customer got up and killed it. Waited 25 minutes for one burger and an order of chicken wings. Wings were cooked to our specifications, burger was underdone, very raw. Took hamburger back up and manager was somewhat smart exclaiming to cooking staff that apparently I need a burger well-done. Staff did not take the burger even though I kept trying to give it back. I waited again nearly 20 minutes while all customers after me were served even though I already had my other food. My position allowed me to observe the kitchen staff, though adults they acted like nine year olds. Laughing, giggling, running after each other, one put something in another's hair...very unprofessional. Manager did nothing. Second burger finally came out and surprisingly it was very good. I do not know if I will return with the unprofessional attitudes these employees and management displayed. read more

Hippy kind of decor, had eaten at long wongs in Tempe years ago. Saturday afternoon, no busy, three or four tables going. Our party of three ordered, a cheese burger, a grilled cheese sandwhich, and a dozen wings. Buger was good, grilled cheese was blah, and the wings, my god the wings! Where god awful. Old cold greasy nasty. I've had really great wings, and just so so, but these were an abomination to wings. How had is it to fry chicken wings and coat in hot sauce. These looked and tasted like they had been cooked a while ago, and then recooked, maybe several times to the the texture I got. OH, and it tool an hour to get our food. read more

We had such a good time, after enjoying the grassy area with picnic benches for and hour and a half, we order a pizza. Tasty with the right amount of toppings.
