We enjoyed Sandbaggers after a round of golf on a Sunday morning. All the staff were friendly and the dining room was clean. Half the tables were taken out of commission and there was sanitizer available on each table. The food was good but not fancy or pretentious. The prices seemed very low for what you get. You can watch golfers finish on 18 while you eat. All in all its an enjoyable place to have lunch and a beer while enjoying a Northern AZ day. read more

Excellence food, excellent service. Came here for the first time. Was greeted by a very friendly dog that was very mellow. We had the burger and club sandwich with some kiltlifter beers. Beautiful view of the lake which had some ducks. read more

My Husband and I recently relocated to Show Low from Tucson. We're currently renting in the White Mountain Lake area. As I'm sure you're all aware of the options for dining out are limited in the area unless we wish to travel for 20 minutes. I had saved this restaurant before we moved up here and couldn't wait to try it. I'm shocked doesn't have more reviews and a more positive star rating. We've been there about 3 to 4 times and ordered takeout once or twice. Each time the food has been incredible and the service outstanding. You also cannot beat the view, who doesn't love looking at a beautiful golf course and a blue lake? My Husband loves the Rueben and gets it every time. I've tried the chicken tenders, hot dog as well as the quesadilla. All have been fresh and delicious, and made by Greg! Did I mention our Server Rose who always assisted us makes some KILLER drinks?! She does such a fantastic job all around. Ask for a spicy Bloody Mary or Long Island, you will not leave disappointed! read more

My family and I have been coming here a couple times every summer when we visit my grandparents and just love it here. The food is great bar style food and they have a full bar. This is the restaurant on the golf course so there is an amazing view from every seat inside and you can even sit on the deck over the water for an even prettier view. Sandbaggers/Silver Creek Golf Course: Over the last 7 years, no matter what changes have occurred, this place has served great White Russians and very good food. My family and I have always been satisfied with the service and food. Highly suggested if you're looking for an easy going, good food and drink establishment. Went for lunch on a Saturday. Only 2 tables were seated Service was horrible, as I had to ask for water 3 times. Another table that came in after us got there food before we did. When we did finally get our good it looked like it had been sitting a while. The food tasted awful and she didn't bring it all out together. The food is amazing and the wait staff is super friendly and helpful. We got there at a quarter to 3 without knowing that they close at 3, but we were still seated and served. I got the burger and onion rings and it was fabulous! The burger is served with sautéed onions and all the trimmings and the onion rings were cooked to perfection. It's making my mouth water just writing this review! One of the best features is that the dining room overlooks the golf course and the lake and the view is beautiful. They even have an outdoor dining patio area. This was our first visit there and it definitely will not be our last! read more

Went to the Easter buffet. It was about 10:30 after church. Awful! There was four of us. There was maybe 6 other folks, we ordered the buffet. No eggs, a few potatoes, 2 sausage links, a few slices of limp, greasy bacon, 3 biscuits, gravy ,2 pancakes, maybe 6 slices of cold French toast, no fruit and one container with hot water, don' know what that was for. Some guy comes out and says he will bring eggs out. Great. 10 minutes later he brings at a scoop, maybe a cup and a half. Did not go far. My husband got tired of waiting and ordered off the menu. For 10.99 awful. The drink was not even included. Will not be back. We are year around residents and have always supported them, but no more. Service was ok but not steller. read more
