Visited here for a private event! It's a small building tucked away in a Mission Hills neighborhood, there are a few restaurants in the area that was quite lively on a Saturday evening. Prepare for street parking all around. I was super impressed with their cocktails! I LOVED the Golden Hour (earl grey infused vodka, peach, and lemon) and the Spicy Slice (mango, jalapeño topped with takin - actually quite spicy!). It had the perfect balance of sweet heat, juicy mango upfront with a little kick at the end. Dangerous in the best way. The espresso martini? Smooth, bold, and not overly sweet exactly how it should be. And the Golf Simulator was such a fun surprise. The atmosphere is what really makes it though. The place was spacious and I decided to get the cosmo's! It even had a golf simulator which was insanely fun! I was fortunate enough to attend this grand opening with my mentor Alton as he introduced me to the owner of this place, Danny! He was so kind, and I absolutely loved what he did to this place! The place also had some amazing merch, from shirts, hoodies, and beanies. They have a selection of cocktails, beers, and even food. Nobody answered when I called during their operating hours, so that was disappointing right off the bat. I then showed up to learn they only have one golf simulator (figured there'd be a lot more), and it was booked! So definitely try to book as far in advance as possible. If you're just going on a whim, you'll probably be out of luck. We just played some pool and darts on the one table and board they have (seems to be a theme - one of everything). Fun, though! Mostly indoor with a small front patio. Very modern and clean feel. Friendly bartender. Small selection of drinks, but fairly priced and tasty! I had both a seltzer and a cocktail. Odd that in order to use the restroom, you have to walk outside, and go down the walkway. Decent amount of TVs and high top tables with barstools. A couple couches as well. read more

Had a 50th birthday party at Longball and it was nothing short of AMAZING! Had to find a location last minute because our original venue flaked out, and I'm SO glad they did! Daniel responded to my inquiry immediately and invited me to the bar to talk and try out some of the amazing cocktails. He worked with me and suggested everything from decorations to food vendors. It's so hard to find an open, honest, CARING establishment these days, but Daniel, Caroline and Demetri are just that! We had around 50 people at the party, but we easily could have had 100 and be completely comfortable. The bar seating is great. The tables inside are great, the Leather furniture and all the televisions are great. The outdoor patio is great. And the simulator... you guessed it, GREAT! Everyone was SO accommodating from the get go. After I confirmed that we wanted to book with Daniel, Caroline was immediately in touch to iron out the details, choosing the cocktails to offer, time frames for set up/tear down, food options, decorations and my favorite part, the customized drink menus. So cool! We had everything finalized within 3 days. Everyone at the party LOVED the venue. The sound level was perfect, Demetri and Caroline behind the bar were amazing, and Daniel spent a lot of time walking around talking to everyone, making sure everyone was happy and even taking orders and delivering cocktails for those high maintenance friends Bottom line, everyone had SUCH a fun time, and were talking about it all week afterwards. 2 friends even like it so much that they are most likely going to book their kids' graduation parties there in the Spring! I could go on for days, but I'm just going to leave it at this: if you're having a party, you need to do it at Longball. Period. read more

Checked this new spot out as it's kind of hard to find a bar with a golf simulator. You have to either go up north to RB area or deep into downtown. This place is much more central. Whether you golf or not though, this is a really great spot to get a drink. The atmosphere is really nice, comfortable bar seats. Plenty of TVs for games, some 4 tops if you're bringing a group, and a couch area. Staff was really friendly and drinks are great. Place looks clean and is kept up well. Loved this venue! It's in a great area and so easy to get to. From the very beginning, Daniel helped us bring our vision to life for our 40th high school reunion--everything from the greeting table to food, decorations, music, and dancing. Once the event started, Caroline ran point and was professional, responsive, and made sure everything flowed perfectly. Communication is lacking tremendously Came in for the SECOND time today after the first time they gave our reservation away that we booked a whole week in advance and was asking if we could come back in two hours. I tried calling SIX TIMES today to make sure this wouldn't happen again and it went straight to voicemail. What an exciting new spot to hang with family & friends! Now I'm not much on doing reviews, but with a place like this, I really felt the need to share our experience. This past weekend, we visited the Longball Cocktail Club located in the Mission Hills / Hillcrest area, and to our very pleasant surprise, were so impressed!! As we entered, the owner was quick to greet us. He went on to explain about the facility, the products, and the origin of Longball. We all loved this very welcoming & personal approach, especially me, as I'm a huge fan of small businesses that give 110% to make their dreams come alive. It is clear the Longball Team is completely dedicated to that effort! The Longball Cocktail Club is an amazing place, with open and smart spaces, outfitted with TV's in every direction, and stylish & comfy seating throughout the Club. All kinds of options: (1) the classic long bartop with tall chairs and hidden hooks to hang your belongings, (2) low and tall tables seating 4-6 people each (easily moved together for larger groups), and (3) a super cozy lounge area that feels more like you're sitting in your own living room than at a bar. This area has a super comfortable sofa, 2 lounge chairs, coffee table, & area rug, anchored by a Giant 100" TV on the wall right in front of you. It is so impressive, and for our group, made the decision very easy for our hangout spot that day! But I can't fail to mention the amazing Golf Simulator, located in it's own private room, and of course furnished with more comfy sofa seating. Just when I thought it couldn't get much better, the owner invited us to take some swings on the Golf Simulator (but for me, it's more like 'hacking'). He was so kind to let our group try it out, golfers and non-golfers alike...it just didn't matter. Everyone enjoyed playing a few holes at beautiful Torrey Pines that day!! Longball even had a full set of golf clubs for us to use...they have literally thought of everything with this place!! Easy to see why our group had a wonderful time at Longball, especially when combining the classy amenities with their delicious & refreshing cocktails. If you like watching sports, playing golf, and having a few drinks, this is the place for you. The ambiance is great! It's like an elevated sports bar. Plenty of TV's including an 100inch TV. There is a couch area that is very comfy. The Longball drinks are really good. We tasted them all, and the original ice tea with lemon flavor is my favorite! Oh... and the best part, there is a golf simulator! The golf simulator is in its own side room so you don't hear it while in the bar (great touch). Service was great too.
