After watching a hockey game yesterday, my friend and I ate at 619 Spirits North Park, which was still decorated with Christmas lights inside and out. It was my friend's first visit at 619 Spirits. 619 Spirits has a relaxed vibe! Our server Jake was excellent. Jake checked on us often, even though we only ordered the free steak dinner for two. We got chimichurri-style New York steaks cooked medium rare, with an unexpected side of fries. The food was flavorful, though the chimichurri sauce grew increasingly salty with each bite. Overall, my friend and I had a wonderful time together. Thankful for the gifted meal! ** Fun fact- 619 Spirits is San Diego's 1st urban craft distillery.

Love their happy hour (6.19 draft cocktails) and appreciate their truffle fries! They have some unique and well made cocktails, games, and indoor/outdoor space. It's always a chill place to catch up with friends or for a date.

Found this place walking around North Park. Service is fast, and they have a great selection of vodka, especially the different infused flavors. Drinks come out quick and taste great. Chill vibe and perfect for a casual Sunday afternoon out. Will definitely be back.

The service here was terrible. They were so slow to serve us and we waited an hour to get our food. I got the wagyu burger with egg and a side of tater tots, which I enjoyed. The green apple boozy smoothie was good and strong. There was a nice outdoor place to sit down that felt homey. Parking, of course, was terrible in North Park

We've come here for a handful of different reasons. Happy to say that each experience gets better. Initially had this review at a 3 in my drafts from last year, but from my time here recently, bumped it to a 4. The service is a bit confusing. You can order at the bar which creates a huge line. Or if you sit down, you can waive over someone to get your order taken. When we've gone, no one knows what to do. There isn't a sign so the confusion is understandable because it's not clear on how to get service. When it's not busy, everything is fine. They have a great happy hour. Love that it goes a little past 6pm as it ends at 6:19. Gives you a little bit more grace. I'm not a fan of their draft cocktails which I find too sweet but I do know others that enjoy them. For a brunch drink, highly recommend the Spritz & Slam! Their HH food is great for the deal. Wings, cauliflower, and truffle fries always hit. Their steak night special was ok. Wouldn't come back for that. Despite the service being confusing when they're packed & busy, their servers are always so nice. If you're a Wave fan, they've been hosting watch parties. The vibes are immaculate. You have to get there early though.

Wow! This place is such a low key spot, partnered with Walkabout, I found this restaurant. They have great happy hour specials, steak and fries Wednesday specials. Their steak was tender, their fries were crispy, they could have used a bit of salt, but overall a great meal. The servers are first class, they know how to hustle with the few people they have. They have outdoor and indoor so it's an inviting space!

This was a cute little spot. I loved their back patio seating, super cute. The service was good, but we did end up moving closer inside as the sun n flys were getting a bit intense. The hummus platter we ordered was delicious and I loved my drink. They have a really good happy hour and I will definitely be back if I'm in the area.

We went for happy hour. They have limited happy hour food and drink options. Freddy our waiter was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the 619 scorpion pepper buffalo and lemon pepper wings. The 619 scorpion pepper buffalo tasted like red hots Buffalo sauce; they were just okay. I would rate 6 out of 10. The lemon pepper was our favorite, I asked for it to be extra crispy. I would rate 10 out of 10. They come with carrots, celery and ranch on the side. The happy hour drinks were a bit too sweet for me. I ended up going with a few shots. Overall, open airy bar with plenty of tables and chairs. Clean bar/restaurant with cute plants. They have board games if you want to play with them.

Heard about the happy hour and that they make their own vodka so had to check it out. They have good happy hour deals and got a flight. Tried the pickle flavored drink and it's ... Interesting. I feel there some type of dill flavor that threw off the pickle flavor for me (and I love pickles!). I wish I could say I liked it, but this pickle drink is not for me. but the SoCal Saddle drink was good!

Came out with some friends for few drinks. After walking a few blocks and getting turned off with how packed and loud a lot of the other places in the area were, we stumbled into 619 and boy were we pleased. With a sigh of relief we were finally able be seated and not have to listen to screaming fans yelling at the tv as the padres game went on. Servers were very friendly and even allowed my friend to vent about her ex boyfriend to her and seemed genuinely interested. So A+ to her for having the time to listen drinks were incredible! And at a great price point! Of course I couldn't decide so I got the cocktail sampler where you can choose 3 of their cocktails. They'll be seeing me again

We went on a double date during restaurant week to try out the food. But we did order the draft cocktails. My husband liked his whiskey drink but my gin drink - The Saturn - was SO sweet. The dinner menu for restaurant week was $45 and included one draft cocktail, app, main and dessert. Sorry everyone. The food was just not good. I wanted to like it. Who doesn't love a distillery? But let's start with the sprouts. They were DRENCHED in honey. You couldn't even taste the sprouts for all the honey. Then the pasta. The shrimp were okay. Fresh. But the vodka sauce was completely flavorless. And the dessert - goodness. The "whipped cream" tasted like whipped lard with sugar in it and arrived at the table melted. I don't know what else to say. The place was loud but that's okay for this type of bar with the football game on. The service was decent. Kept our water full and plates cleared. I was excited about this menu but it was not tasty!

When I made the reservation, it was noted that there is a 1.5 hour limit on the table. Thankfully, Botanica isn't incredibly stringent about this rule as it gave us more time to eat, drink and be merry. My friend and I split the bill and I paid $87.49 with tip included. Here's what we had: Blistered shishito peppers - mild spice but flavorful New York strip yakitori - ordered two of these because they were that good! The steak was tender and the sauce rendered an umami flavor Botanika roll - tasted fine, but it ate one note. You can taste the citrusy parts but not much else. Mochi dessert - you can only get dessert if you order the pre fixe chef menu, but since our waitress didn't know this, she put the order in and gave it to us! We were incredibly grateful because it was the perfect end to a good meal For cocktails we ordered Spirited Away, Dragon of the West, Kyoko Sakura & Heads will Roll. All of the cocktails were beautifully presented and quite tasty.

I made a reservation (just in case) because on a weekend you never know. Luckily, though, we arrived and there was plenty of available seating. My husband and I had our 10 and 5 year old with us and they easily accommodated us. It's a straightforward, but lovely menu that has a little bit for everyone. We enjoyed sharing a few plates and fresh oysters on the half shell. They do not have a kids menu, which was alright with us. Our daughter, who loves a good steak at 5 years old, enjoyed their pub steak and fries and shared a Mexican Coke with her brother. For my husband and I, we enjoyed sharing their beef tartare and to finish it off, a banana split. What we found so whimsical about Finca is their presentation. Being a sober girlie, I've heard about this place for years and was thrilled to finally try it so we had to order a few drinks. There's nothing quite like being able to look at a drink menu and know you can order anything from it because it's all sober friendly. They have a CBD infused drink part of the menu, a kava section and a mocktail drink section along with a food menu. The food looked delicious but we came here for a night cap after eating dinner nearby. We snagged 3 drinks- I need to check my notes on which ones we got but they were all so good. This is the type of place you can come here for a first date, date night worh your partner or co-work with your laptop. I saw all varieties of people who were doing their thang and it felt comfortable. The theme is inspired by Mac Miller and the decor is intentional and classic. Word on the street is that the 2 female owners had some disagreements with their investor so there's somewhat bad blood and that's always a bummer to hear people especially those in the sober community not be able to resolve their differences after they've made such an incredibly safe haven for us to enjoy. I get it though, some business partners are bad choices but y'all have made a beautiful experience here and I'm so grateful for it. I really like the growing NA trend, and even though I drink, it's great to have an alternative, safer-feeling, and more inclusive nightlife option. I came with a couple friends on a Sunday night, about a week ago. We all drink alcohol, but we've all been drinking less lately. The place was almost empty around 8pm, which we found concerning for its prospective longevity. We also thought the prices were pretty steep -- maybe I'm biased as someone who drinks alcohol, but if I'm getting a mocktail or other NA drink, I'd like to pay less than $15+ for it. Still, I ordered the Ave Maria and thought it was one of the best mocktails I've ever had. One of my friends got the Malibu (he liked it but did complain about the price), and I don't remember what my other friend got. We sat for a while and played Connect4 using the fanciest set I'd ever seen. Some more people came in, so it didn't feel nearly as empty by the time I left. I'd probably come back, but only if I was with someone who doesn't drink and/or really wanted to try this bar. I hope they make it!
