We were in the North Park area and chose to eat dinner at 619 Spirits. Parking as per usual is not convenient in the area but it is what it is. We got our obligatory Old Fashioneds and sadly they were not good. Wife and I thought it might have been the ice cube that gave it a funky flavor. As far as the food we had not complaints as each of the items we ordered were delicious. We started with perfectly fried brussel sprouts. The only thing missing in them is a protein like bacon or pancetta or chorizo otherwise they were yummy. My chicken sandwich was perfectly fried and the aioli and pickles brought the sandwich together. Wife's carnitas tacos also were delish. Except for the cocktails, we enjoyed our time at 618 Spirits.

Absolutely loved it. The drinks were a delight and so well made. Happy hour was a dream. The tater tots were so crispy. Street parking, however north park has a structure not far in walking distance. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good vibes, even though was World Cup season, very enjoyable ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Scarlet was our server and she was amazing!! Freddie too! Loved the team!

After watching a hockey game yesterday, my friend and I ate at 619 Spirits North Park, which was still decorated with Christmas lights inside and out. It was my friend's first visit at 619 Spirits. [[HIGHLIGHT]]619 Spirits has a relaxed vibe![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server Jake was excellent. Jake checked on us often, even though we only ordered the free steak dinner for two. We got chimichurri-style New York steaks cooked medium rare, with an unexpected side of fries. The food was flavorful, though the chimichurri sauce grew increasingly salty with each bite. Overall, my friend and I had a wonderful time together. Thankful for the gifted meal! ** Fun fact- 619 Spirits is San Diego's 1st urban craft distillery.

Nothing like celebrating a free steak meal for two! Came here with one of my gfs and had an enjoyable night. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The aura of this bar was very welcoming, open and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thank you Jake for being an attentive and a great service to us, you knew we came for our free voucher and didn't belittle us nor lack your service. And comps to the chef because when you think of steaks at bars, it's typically a 50/50 experience. You don't assume top quality and cooked to perfection meals right off the bat; but at 619 spirits, I have no complaints. Well in honesty though, the chimichurri was strong in sodium after a few bites, but it still tasted great and had every drip of it lol and the steak was cooked as requested! And that's rare! And that's how I love my steaks- medium rare! It was top tier to my tastebuds! Cheers!

Love their happy hour (6.19 draft cocktails) and appreciate their truffle fries! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have some unique and well made cocktails, games, and indoor/outdoor space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's always a chill place to catch up with friends or for a date.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Found this place walking around North Park. Service is fast, and they have a great selection of vodka, especially the different infused flavors. Drinks come out quick and taste great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Chill vibe and perfect for a casual Sunday afternoon out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will definitely be back.

We've come here for a handful of different reasons. Happy to say that each experience gets better. Initially had this review at a 3 in my drafts from last year, but from my time here recently, bumped it to a 4. The service is a bit confusing. You can order at the bar which creates a huge line. Or if you sit down, you can waive over someone to get your order taken. When we've gone, no one knows what to do. There isn't a sign so the confusion is understandable because it's not clear on how to get service. When it's not busy, everything is fine. They have a great happy hour. Love that it goes a little past 6pm as it ends at 6:19. Gives you a little bit more grace. I'm not a fan of their draft cocktails which I find too sweet but I do know others that enjoy them. For a brunch drink, highly recommend the Spritz & Slam! Their HH food is great for the deal. Wings, cauliflower, and truffle fries always hit. Their steak night special was ok. Wouldn't come back for that. Despite the service being confusing when they're packed & busy, their servers are always so nice. If you're a Wave fan, they've been hosting watch parties. The vibes are immaculate. You have to get there early though.

The service here was terrible. They were so slow to serve us and we waited an hour to get our food. I got the wagyu burger with egg and a side of tater tots, which I enjoyed. The green apple boozy smoothie was good and strong. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was a nice outdoor place to sit down that felt homey.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking, of course, was terrible in North Park

Wow! This place is such a low key spot, partnered with Walkabout, I found this restaurant. They have great happy hour specials, steak and fries Wednesday specials. Their steak was tender, their fries were crispy, they could have used a bit of salt, but overall a great meal. The servers are first class, they know how to hustle with the few people they have. They have outdoor and indoor so it's an inviting space!

This was a cute little spot. I loved their back patio seating, super cute. The service was good, but we did end up moving closer inside as the sun n flys were getting a bit intense. The hummus platter we ordered was delicious and I loved my drink. They have a really good happy hour and I will definitely be back if I'm in the area.

We went for happy hour. They have limited happy hour food and drink options. Freddy our waiter was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the 619 scorpion pepper buffalo and lemon pepper wings. The 619 scorpion pepper buffalo tasted like red hots Buffalo sauce; they were just okay. I would rate 6 out of 10. The lemon pepper was our favorite, I asked for it to be extra crispy. I would rate 10 out of 10. They come with carrots, celery and ranch on the side. The happy hour drinks were a bit too sweet for me. I ended up going with a few shots. Overall, open airy bar with plenty of tables and chairs. Clean bar/restaurant with cute plants. They have board games if you want to play with them.

Are reservations required? I'm planning on coming on a friday evening!

    Nope! See you Friday!

Is this a bar or restaurant? I wanted to know if it was kid friendly.?

Kid friendly for lunch and dinner but loud.

I came once and got the Scorpions Kiss. It's not on the menu anymore. Does anyone know what was in it?

Let me see if I can find the old recipe.

Is Happy Hour still 4-7? Friday

    It's 4 to 6 now.

    Is there happy hour currently?

Yes. 4 to 7 every day. It should be listed in the menu on our website?

    Do u sell hand sanitizer?

I'm sorry, we don't. Try Liberty Call in Bario Logan.

Do they show NFL games here and is there sound?

Yes, and if you sit at the bar, you can ask them to turn up the sound.

The SERVICE 4/5 stars. Our server was truly amazing. She deserved the 5/5. Great recommendations, super genuine and fun, had the best energy and was CONSTANTLY checking in on us; however, a couple of the other workers could have been a little bit more open with communication. We were sitting against the window at the high top wraparound bar tables (feels like an extension of the bar), so the bar is easy to order from and was our go to as soon as we arrived. The bartender took our order, but was standoffish as if we were doing something foreign or a big "no no". Finally the server in charge of our area told us that the bartenders are in charge of the bar and there are other servers for all the other tables/zones. If we were told that from the beginning, we would have made sure to follow the order of the place and order from the correct server. A few of us truly felt bad, but now we know when we go in next time what to expect. Barleymash is always a great time, so we always want to make sure we are doing it right! I truly recommend sitting anywhere else but that window/wall on a packed night, but sometimes you have to deal with what you are lucky enough to get!

When I entered the restaurant around 7:00 PM, I was stopped and questioned extensively by security regarding my service animal. Rather than being asked the limited ADA-compliant questions permitted by law, the interaction became prolonged and uncomfortable while staff repeatedly attempted to determine whether my dog was a "real" service animal or simply an emotional support animal. I remained waiting at the entrance while this was repeatedly discussed back and forth. What made the situation especially humiliating was that another patron openly laughed at me during the interaction while walking outside for a cigarette. I later realized this same patron had her own dog inside the establishment in a stroller the entire time. Staff members appeared very familiar and comfortable with her, and multiple employees, including my waitress- referred to her as a "regular." Although her dog was eventually moved to the patio area, the contrast in how the situations were handled made me feel singled out, embarrassed, and unfairly scrutinized. I later spoke with management in hopes of resolving the matter respectfully. During that conversation, I was surprised and concerned to hear that neither management nor staff were familiar with psychiatric service animals or their protections under the ADA. Psychiatric service animals are legally recognized service animals when trained to perform disability-related tasks, and this lack of awareness was deeply concerning, especially in a city like San Diego with a large disabled and veteran community. I fully understand that businesses are allowed to ask limited ADA-compliant questions regarding service animals, and I also understand that many establishments have dealt with individuals falsely claiming pets as service animals. However, there is a significant difference between appropriately verifying a service animal and making a disabled customer feel publicly interrogated and humiliated. The overall handling of this interaction lacked professionalism, sensitivity, and basic understanding of ADA service animal protections. No customer should feel mocked, scrutinized, or publicly embarrassed simply for entering a restaurant with a legitimate service animal. I sincerely hope this situation can serve as an opportunity for additional ADA education and proper service animal training for staff moving forward so that other disabled guests do not experience similar treatment. I would appreciate being informed of any steps the restaurant intends to take regarding ADA compliance and staff training before I determine how I would like to proceed further. Thank you for your time and attention.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by an uplifting open-air environment, truly a breath of fresh air that felt like stepping onto the observation deck of the USS Enterprise. The amazing views of the bay were nothing short of spectacular, bringing a serene beauty that rivals the finest star systems. Over the years, my wife, her girlfriend, and I have become frequent travelers to this culinary haven, beaming back for nearly 15 years--a testament to its enduring allure. The selection of IPAs and mixed drinks is impressive, catering to even the most discerning palates in the galaxy. The choices are vast enough to satisfy anyone embarking on this flavor exploration, whether you prefer a refreshing drink to toast a successful mission or something bolder, like a phaser on stun! The menu features a delightful array of options, including fresh salads, tantalizing finger foods, and, of course, their famed burgers. My wife's enthusiasm for the offerings has always been infectious, and during this visit, she and her girlfriend were on a culinary adventure of their own, indulging in the flavors that have made Nicky Rottens a local favorite. The burgers are truly out of this world--juicy, flavorful, and expertly crafted to ensure a warp-speed experience with every bite. You'll find that each dish is prepared with precision, as if overseen by a skilled chef with the abilities of a Vulcan and the passion of a true culinary Starfleet officer. In conclusion, Nicky Rottens is a prime destination for anyone seeking a vibrant atmosphere, stunning views, and a solid meal. I can confidently say that if you ever find yourself in Coronado, this establishment is a must-visit. After all, it's just one small step for man, and one giant leap into deliciousness!
