Went to celebrate my brother's birthday last Saturday. We did have to wait a little bit because our party was kind of large. We had six people in our party, but decided to go early to miss the dinner rush. Took a little bit for our server to get our water out, but she had four other tables that evening so it was quite understandable. Dominique was quite friendly and nice. The manager Chyna was very very nice and she came to check on us at the end of our meal. We started off with the Texas Tonion which was pretty good. All of us ordered steak if course. My steak was quite tasty. It melted in my mouth. I asked for the steak to be cooked rare. That was very nice as many places won't cook steak rare. We walk in and immediately we noticed how extremely HOT it is inside the restaurant. The staff makes apologies for the heat. The family is seated fast because the restaurant is relatively empty. So, there is no reason for it to be so hot in this restaurant. We sit down and order our drinks and food. I asked for sparkling water my sister wanted a ginger ale. The restaurant had neither, not even in the bar. So we settle for plain water and sprite. We order our food, but no bread came before. I ordered a salad with steak. It was ok. The steak was cold. The others had missing items from their food orders or burned sweet potatoes. But the the bill comes and we try to get the bill correct and it s a comedy of errors. We split the check and two times it was not done correctly, we gave up. This was very disappointing for a a Longhorn. They are usually consistent no matter the state/location. Came in at about 9:45 last night and got refused service because the kitchen was closed .I know it was a hour and 15 before close but it's crazy for the excuse they made to not serve use .I work in the restaurant industry and people get fired for things like this .i would have been happy if they let us place a Togo order but nothing at all at 9:45 and y'all close at 11 in crazy .I hope yall fix this ! read more

If I could give them a 0 I would. My time at Longhorn was incredibly disappointing and unfortunate. I did not receive any fair customer service, which was disheartening. Despite being with a very large party, I expected to be acknowledged and served, but that was not the case. It seemed the company was short-staffed that night, and it would have been considerate if they had informed us, so we would have known to expect a longer wait time while sitting at the table. We waited for over 30 minutes without any acknowledgment or update from the server. We tried to get the attention of the server serving our large party and informed her we were part of it, but we had to sit at a booth because management only allowed a party of 12 or 14 at the tables. My mother, niece, daughter, sister, and I stayed at a booth. We asked for water, and she said okay, but as time went on, we never received it. She never returned to apologize or inform us she was busy and unable to get water. She promised to get our server, but the server never showed up. We waited endlessly, and no one ever came back. We saw people who looked like servers walk past our table, but no one acknowledged us or mentioned they were short-staffed or would help us soon. We ended up leaving without receiving anything, simply giving our birthday person her gifts and departing. It was so disappointing not to be acknowledged or served, especially since the large party had three available chairs. I figured that we could still be served while sitting at the booth right next to our large party. It was very disheartening to experience this. I love Longhorn as a franchise and the food was great. In their defense, we showed up at 9:30 for a store that closed at 11 pm. That required us to sit at the bar because tables were not open. Our server did a great job managing all the parties at the bar and took great care of us. We have enjoyed many Longhorn locations and this one did a good job. The salads were fresh. I went to this business today because I wanted some baby back ribs with a baked potato fully loaded. When I placed my order she stated they are out of baby back ribs . I settled for baked salmon and broccoli ( what a big difference ). The service was great from the time I stepped through the door and requested to do takeout. I called them 3 times to let them know I was outside ready for my curbside order. They kept saying okay we're coming? So weird. And I went at 3 before it even got super busy. The staff could had been better. The host in front claimed it was 45 minute wait, but didn't even think about the bar being open especially for one person. One waitress touched me to feel on my jacket instead of just saying excuse me I like your jacket. I would look wrong for going off on her for violating my personal space. Ate my salad and bread and then waited 30 mins for my steak and potatoe. People that got here after me were already eating before I even got mine. Then of course it was half raw not med well. I visited this location twice this year, so I wanted to give an update on my experience. I must say, our service was great. The waitress was very attentive and would check on us often to make sure we were satisfied and had everything we needed. I had my usual on this visit...the parmesan crusted chicken, loaded baked potato, firecracker wraps and potato soup ( for the appetizer). I believe this was my first time having the soup and it was delicious. I also want to add that on the visit previous to this one I had their seasonal lamb chops. We got there before the rush with a large group and took our time to enjoy our celebrations, drinks, then ordered and only half our our food came out and we had to wait 20 more minutes for the rest of the food to come out. The tea was over sweet, the asparagus over cooked. The steaks were good and the waitress did her best given the circumstances. Received drinks and bread in a reasonable amount of time. I ordered the Flo's filet, medium. Wife ordered the filet, medium well. Salads came quickly. Mine had ice chips in it. The entrees took about a half hour to show up. When they did they were both cooked rare, red center, "blood" on the plate. After the long wait, we decided not to send it back. Unsatisfied Customer! I purchased via curbside at Longhorn, Houston Levee, Collierville location the ribs and Parmesan chicken meal with salad and baked potato. The ribs were burnt and tasted like they had lighter fluid on them with a gross taste. The chicken breast did not taste like a chicken breast but more like some type of processed meat. The salad was about the best thing. It's been 1.5-2.0 years since I visited any Longhorn location and now I know why. The wait for seating was short, at less than 5 minutes. The salmon was cooked and seasoned to perfection; you could tell it was fresh too. The grilled shrimp dipped in butter added an extra layer of flavor that it needed. For my side, I had the cheesy mac and house salad, which made everything come together perfectly. Mother's Day weekend outing after leaving the theater. Service was a little slow but to be expected. The wait-list moved a little quickly. Despite several staff, it took a minute for someone to visit our table for drink orders. There are few items on drink special that are heavily discounted. I really liked the wild West shrimp. A much larger portion than expected. The fire grilled corn was okay. The salmon was absolutely delicious paired with the Brussels sprouts. I called to be placed on the waitlist for a party of 8 and was told we would have to come into the restaurant to speak to a manager. We arrived at 7:20 on Monday and was told the wait would be 1 hr. 1 hr and 15 mins later we asked how much longer it might be. They said, " I don't know, maybe 15-20 mins. My manager didn't tell me where you're going." A large table of about 10 had left 30 mins ago and the table stayed dirty. There were open tables everywhere. My wife & I ate there yesterday. Yes, I know it was Valentines Day. Arrived @ 3:30, was told an hour wait, seat d pretty close to that time. 15+ minutes before even greeted by waitress. Didn't get our drinks (water) for another 10 minutes. Ordered appetizer along with our steaks. Next thing we know, salads show up. While eating salads, it dawned on me that waitress hadn't asked for how we wanted steaks cooked, Flagged her down, advised of how we wanted steaks cooked, she said "no problem, can still get that handled as we were way down the prep order in kitchen". Literally 3-4 minutes later here come our steaks. I explained to waiter that brought them that we haven't even gotten our appetizer yet & sent the steaks back. Approx 10 minutes, appetizer showed up. We were only a couple bites into appetizer when steaks showed up again. Mine was overcooked, wife's was undercooked. We both ate very little of our steaks, but did take them home with us, probably will make BBQ sandwiches with them... This is not the first time this restaurant has botched our service sequence & requested meat prep. I don't know if it's management indifference to proper meal sequences or just overall lack of training of service & cook staffs. I've had better service & food prep @ a McDonalds or Wendys. I had a terrible experience with my online order on Oct 19th. I placed an order online through the Longhorn app and paid for the order. I waited an extra long time at the outside takeout area, but no service. After speaking to manager; I was told that my order online did not register. I provided proof of the order with a screenshot on my phone showing payment and an order for the food. Finally, I had to reorder and waited another lengthy time again. ZERO STARS!! Went to the Bartlett location last night around 6:00 with a party of 7. At first, the service was good, drinks came out right away, app orders were taken.. and then it fell apart. The appetizers (2) came out 15 minutes later, with 10 minutes between each appetizer, not a huge deal. While getting drink refills, the server took 2 of the parties water glasses to refill them and never brought them back. It is now past 7:00, and food has arrived...not ONE of the steaks were cooked properly, 5 total that were all so overcooked they were like shoe leather, and they were ice cold. The Parmesan chicken was so undercooked it looked like raw breading on the chicken. Still no drinks for the ones she took away from the table. The broccoli and asparagus was covered with salt, so much you could see it on the vegetables, like they dumped a whole shaker in it, the entire dish was swimming in salt. When asked for the waters she took, she placed a silver water pitcher on the table and walked away.. no glasses to put it in. The server finally came back, not to check on us and the food, but to give us the check. Never once asked how the food was. I asked her to give us separate checks which she replied "you could have told me that before" It was 2 checks for 7 of us, and we were sitting in order, it wasn't that difficult. Finally she asked if we needed Togo boxes, because we obviously had food left over, I said something about the asparagus/broccoli that was way over salted, he response was " I'm not dealing with this, I'll get a manager" 15 more minutes go by and up walks a manager with just as big attitude as the server, no pleasantries, no how can I help you. She walked up and said "what's the problem" we tried to explain about the over seasoning which she proceeded to argue that it wasn't salt etc etc. it was the lemon sauce.. you could clearly see the salt crystals on said veggies. The next thing the manager said was "what do you want me to do about it?" ????????? Take it off the bill maybe??? Another 15 minutes goes by, finally get the adjusted check, as we're trying to pay online, server is hovering around, the most I saw her all night! There was a table next to us, that was also having issues. I overheard the man say to his companion I would have tipped her had she not given such an attitude. My youngest ordered a hamburger first time it had to be sent because it was burned. The next two times it was brought back red and the last time it was mooing on the plate.
