    Chicken garden salad
    Derek S.

Arrived decently early on a Monday after work and was seated right away. The ambiance is a chain steakhouse. Not much to say. The service was friendly and attentive. I did order an entree salad and a chicken/baked potato dinner entree and thought the salad would come first, but both came out at the same time. I should have specified but didn't think I would need to. Overall the food was good and I can't complain. A little pricey for what you get but welcome to 2025.

8 oz sirloin steak with broccoli

A beautiful place designed with ranch astetics. Quite large inside to include a bar. I ordered the sirloin 8oz steak with broccoli and a side salad. The food was very delicious. The service was decent and our server worked with us to get out complete order in. The food started coming shortly after we ordered. Nice prices with good food what more can you ask for? Thank you LongHorn Steakhouse for making great memories!

Overall we had a positive experience from the hostess, to the service and our meals. Despite it being very busy, the individuals at the hostess station were on top of things. They were not short with us when they put us on the list and gave us the wait time. Our server was attentive, but he didn't hover. My partner made a special request with his steak; the server got that into the kitchen clearly. The filet was cooked perfectly--nice and warm in the center. The sirloin on the salad was lovely and red in the center. It tasted great. We'll be back.

    The Longhorn

I bring my son here often for lunch dates. Today his older brother was available to come along as well. We got The Longhorn cooked medium rare and a cheeseburger. Our server Trevor was friendly and attentive, the steak was cooked perfectly, the burger was really big and good enough to take the last 2 bites home instead of abandoning. We always have a great experience here.

Tiny potato with too much sour cream.

My service was good but everything else was down hill. My salad came out late and my entree came out 2 minutes later. Anyone in hospitality knows this is a no no. My Filet, ordered M/W came out well done, dead and was the thinnest piece of meat, don't know if they could do anything but rare or well done. The baked potato I was given was very small but they put heaping amounts of butter and sour cream. For the price and quality of the food, was disappointing.

Once our waitperson arrived, the service was fine. If you tend to get chilly easily, be sure to bring a sweater. It was too cold for us in the restaurant. The restaurant has a great menu for dinner, and a more limited (but very adequate) one for lunch. Pricing is reasonable for the quality and quantity of food served. I had a lovely chicken sandwich with avocado, jack cheese, bacon, arugula, and tomato. The contents were slippery, but tasted very good. The chicken was perfectly cooked. The fries were crispy and seasoned nicely without excess salt. My husband had a chicken Caesar salad and enjoyed it. He also ordered a cherry limeade. I had a taste, and it was very nice... not too sweet. While we enjoyed the food and atmosphere, the service to those arriving needs some attention.

Their kindness never feels forced -- it's just who they are. One moment that really stayed with me was when I brought my young niece, who has several allergies and can also be a bit picky with food. The chef personally came out to our table to ask thoughtful questions, understand her allergies better, and make sure she felt safe and comfortable eating there. That level of care meant so much to our family. Now that I'm pregnant, the staff continues to be just as attentive, accommodating, and thoughtful. The pluses of this place: The chicken is really good, both on the bone or in tenders or sandwiches. The OG sandwich is for a big stomach, be warned, but it is delicious. Nashville hot chicken has a real spectrum of heat, so work your way up until you get to the level you're comfortable with. The selection of sides are country favorites, and the broccoli salad I tried last night is the only one I didn't care for. The pies are outstanding, and they are advertised as complimentary. The minuses: The waitstaff is consistently undermanned. The group of tables we use when we go there is served by the bartender, so when the bar is busy service is slow. Likewise, they have a drive-through window and so the kitchen can get backed up. Last night, it took 20 minutes between ordering and getting our food. I may visit Obsidian Brewery time after time after time after time and never find out how their beer is. This is because a) They have an outstanding bar and b) They have an outstanding kitchen. For me, beer is a hardship beverage you drink when there is nothing else better available. When I go to a bar, I can sometimes be looking for mix-mastering. Usually I am looking for outstanding top of the line hard spirits. * * * When I walked into Obsidian, I looked at their bar. It was love at first sight. In front of me were twenty yards of three shelves of the most wonderful bottles I could possibly imagine. Half of them I had never heard of before. * * * I settled on a Buddha's Hand Gin. Buddha and Gin rarely appear in the same sentence Never mind the same label on a bottle. I ordered it straight up. I went immediately to Nirvana. Forget the meditation and the austerities. The Buddha's Hand Gin was as good as a trip to the Himalayas. Buddha's Hand is an obscure citrus fruit that grows multiple protuberances the way some horseradishes do. It is golden and looks like a hand. Ergo the name. The Buddha's Hand Gin is a citrus tinged gin with an edge more like orange zest than like orange juice. The additional botanicals make it strong, attention grabbing, fruity and yet combative. I was absolutely fascinated. Note that Buddha's Hand Gin is only one of the many items they have to explore there. I am totally ready to do more exploring. * * * The kitchen at Obsidian is also of distinction. The savvy local guide I came with adored his Thai Curry Wood Fired Rings. I went with a Cheesy Bread. This is open-faced grilled cheese on a thick slice of bread the size of a shoebox, with a wonderful homemade tomato sauce on about 1/3 of it. It is the best cheese pizza you have ever had. It is what cheese pizza is supposed to be if you don't use the standard canned ingredients that institutional providers sell to Domino's. I was as in love with my cheese bread as I was with my citrus gin. * * * The company was also outstanding. Which is just as well because Obsidian is a social place. Lots of Leanderthals having a fine time in couples and groups. This is not a loner's loser bar. You know - the dark rooms with misfits drinking their sixth beer while watching TV. This is a good folks good times full-of-sunlight place. So you definitely want to come with good folks. * * * Good food, good bottles, good people. And if you are feeling chipper, You can even have a homemade beer to celebrate.
