    Chicken garden salad
    Derek S.

Arrived decently early on a Monday after work and was seated right away. The ambiance is a chain steakhouse. Not much to say. The service was friendly and attentive. I did order an entree salad and a chicken/baked potato dinner entree and thought the salad would come first, but both came out at the same time. I should have specified but didn't think I would need to. Overall the food was good and I can't complain. A little pricey for what you get but welcome to 2025.

8 oz sirloin steak with broccoli

A beautiful place designed with ranch astetics. Quite large inside to include a bar. I ordered the sirloin 8oz steak with broccoli and a side salad. The food was very delicious. The service was decent and our server worked with us to get out complete order in. The food started coming shortly after we ordered. Nice prices with good food what more can you ask for? Thank you LongHorn Steakhouse for making great memories!

Overall we had a positive experience from the hostess, to the service and our meals. Despite it being very busy, the individuals at the hostess station were on top of things. They were not short with us when they put us on the list and gave us the wait time. Our server was attentive, but he didn't hover. My partner made a special request with his steak; the server got that into the kitchen clearly. The filet was cooked perfectly--nice and warm in the center. The sirloin on the salad was lovely and red in the center. It tasted great. We'll be back.

I bring my son here often for lunch dates. Today his older brother was available to come along as well. We got The Longhorn cooked medium rare and a cheeseburger. Our server Trevor was friendly and attentive, the steak was cooked perfectly, the burger was really big and good enough to take the last 2 bites home instead of abandoning. We always have a great experience here.

Parmesan Crusted Chicken Loaded Baked Potato

Came here for Father's Day dinner and boy was it busy! The wait was long which was expected so we didn't mind hanging out until a table was ready for us. Our server was very nice but definitely seemed like he was having a hard time managing his tables. We ended up getting our appetizers before the bread and getting our check took awhile after we had wrapped up. We got the stuffed mushrooms and the Texas tonion and both were really good but they were not very hot when it got to our table. I ordered the Parmesan crusted chicken with a loaded baked potato and both were good but sooooo salty lol. I'm sure the kitchen was slammed all day so I was just impressed with how quick our food came out.

Tiny potato with too much sour cream.

We had four appetizers, and each one was (a) larger than expected and (b)VERY tasty (mushrooms, calamari, fried pickles, and boneless chicken *wings. I also ordered a protein bowl, with was very well presented -- but TWO BIG GUYS were already full by then. took home leftovers for most of the appetizers and the bowl. I will return to EVENTUALLY conquer their menu. * I think they were just chicken chunks, but whatever. Service: We were late to make the waiting list but they slipped us in immediately. The place was ROCKING full, but our waitperson was there for us very fast, both in taking food and drink orders -- and the barstaff/back of house delivering. Full restaurant: FIVE minutes max. Friendly. Not just our person, but two others that I observed while seated. Ambiance: How can you measure that in a totally full restaurant? I _guess_ it was good. Table was clean, as we seats and bench. Noisy but not too noisy. Good AC. My only grumble is that the pretty front door facade is set up so that there's no rain cover. The food is always incredible, but what truly sets this place apart is the people. Kylie, Nathan, Maddie, and so many others on the team consistently go above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, cared for, and genuinely valued. Their kindness never feels forced -- it's just who they are. One moment that really stayed with me was when I brought my young niece, who has several allergies and can also be a bit picky with food. The chef personally came out to our table to ask thoughtful questions, understand her allergies better, and make sure she felt safe and comfortable eating there. That level of care meant so much to our family. Now that I'm pregnant, the staff continues to be just as attentive, accommodating, and thoughtful. They always make sure I'm comfortable and taken care of, and it honestly feels like visiting friends every time we walk through the door. Restaurants with great food are everywhere. Negatives: -Order taker/server's heavy accent very difficult to understand. -A la carte; no combos. Side portions (tots) are enough for two people we found out after ordering. -Didn't realize the burgers come with 4 Hawaiian slider rolls as the bun; we ordered off the wall menu behind the counter. Upon picking up the burger, the 4 rolls immediately broke apart as did the hamburger patty. Ended up being a "hamburger salad". -Cheeseburger comes with pickles; found jalapeños instead, on the bottom. - Coke at the fountain tasted like Diet Coke, thought maybe the lines were crossed. Server tried it and also at the bar then checked in the back and said "out of Coke." Impressions: Didn't care for slider rolls in place of a burger bun, as it makes for a big fall-apart mess. Sweet Hawaiian comes in actual hamburger and hotdog buns!! More negatives than positives so we don't plan on going back.

It opened this past November and I'm so glad we gave it a try. Pro tip, always join the waiting list before you arrive then check in as soon as you get there. I made the rookie mistake of getting on the list when we got there. Boo. So this caused us to have approximately a 40-minute wait. Because this location was booming. It has a huge parking lot and it was full. They do have a really nice outdoor patio waiting seating area as well as an indoor area. If you want the famous TX Roadhouse peanuts, you have to ask the receptionist and she'll give you a bag. Anywho, When we got a text I went to the receptionist and she directed my son and I to stand by the saddle and a hostess would come get us. I noticed they had five pre-staging stations and I guess the saddle was the 6th. That was a little awkward to have us there because it was right by the steak viewing And where the servers would pick up rolls and butter. Not the best place to have guests stand and wait. It took about 10 more minutes for a hostess to come get us and take us to our table. Want seated we were greeted by our server within 5 minutes. And from then on everything worked like clockwork up to the end of our visit when our server seem to be pretty busy so it took a little longer to get refills and togo boxes. Overall it was a great experience in this newer location. It was cool because the restaurant was super bright and I'm used to Texas Roadhouse being a little dim. But they did dim the lights around 7:30 p.m.. The food was consistent quality and delicious. We really liked the new twisted mozzarella sticks. They had a really good flavor and the cheese was cheesin! I always get the same thing, sweet tea, house salad, 8 oz sirloin with the baked potato and veggies. My son got the full rack of ribs with the side of fries and a loaded sweet potato. It was my birthday month and his birthday so they gave us a complimentary appetizer because I was a rewards member and had a coupon. For next visit I know to plan ahead and check in when I'm on my way. I definitely recommend this new location and we will definitely be back.

I may visit Obsidian Brewery time after time after time after time and never find out how their beer is. This is because a) They have an outstanding bar and b) They have an outstanding kitchen. For me, beer is a hardship beverage you drink when there is nothing else better available. When I go to a bar, I can sometimes be looking for mix-mastering. Usually I am looking for outstanding top of the line hard spirits. * * * When I walked into Obsidian, I looked at their bar. It was love at first sight. In front of me were twenty yards of three shelves of the most wonderful bottles I could possibly imagine. Half of them I had never heard of before. * * * I settled on a Buddha's Hand Gin. Buddha and Gin rarely appear in the same sentence Never mind the same label on a bottle. I ordered it straight up. I went immediately to Nirvana. Forget the meditation and the austerities. The Buddha's Hand Gin was as good as a trip to the Himalayas. Buddha's Hand is an obscure citrus fruit that grows multiple protuberances the way some horseradishes do. It is golden and looks like a hand. Ergo the name. The Buddha's Hand Gin is a citrus tinged gin with an edge more like orange zest than like orange juice. The additional botanicals make it strong, attention grabbing, fruity and yet combative. I was absolutely fascinated. Note that Buddha's Hand Gin is only one of the many items they have to explore there. I am totally ready to do more exploring. * * * The kitchen at Obsidian is also of distinction. The savvy local guide I came with adored his Thai Curry Wood Fired Rings. I went with a Cheesy Bread. This is open-faced grilled cheese on a thick slice of bread the size of a shoebox, with a wonderful homemade tomato sauce on about 1/3 of it. It is the best cheese pizza you have ever had. It is what cheese pizza is supposed to be if you don't use the standard canned ingredients that institutional providers sell to Domino's. I was as in love with my cheese bread as I was with my citrus gin. * * * The company was also outstanding. Which is just as well because Obsidian is a social place. Lots of Leanderthals having a fine time in couples and groups. This is not a loner's loser bar. You know - the dark rooms with misfits drinking their sixth beer while watching TV. This is a good folks good times full-of-sunlight place. So you definitely want to come with good folks. * * * Good food, good bottles, good people.
