My service was good but everything else was down hill. My salad came out late and my entree came out 2 minutes later. Anyone in hospitality knows this is a no no. My Filet, ordered M/W came out well done, dead and was the thinnest piece of meat, don't know if they could do anything but rare or well done. I don't know who bought the place or took over....but it won't be long before I see it's doors closing. Let's start with service. The young girl has no idea on how to be a really good professional waitress. Lousy and a ditz. Then there is the silverware and menus. My menu had stuck food in between the paper pages. ALL of our steak knives were greasy and or dirty. Granted the waitress said she was sorry but when she returned with another set of silverware, she should have removed the old but didn't. Again lousy and a ditz. The quality of the food was sort of less than desirable. Wasn't impressed and menu was lackluster. A big yawn. The place wasn't busy by a long shot and yet our waitress moved around like a trapped housefly in a hot car and kept forgetting to bring us things like more tea, more water and more bread. Again lousy and ditz. I'm just going to say it. We are doomed if we are having to rely on the gen z to help us when we get old. They lack social skills. My family and I eat at this location regularly. Last visit was December 5, 2025. There was a roach in my drink. I flagged down a waiter who replaced the drink and charged me for it. Like that they use a nice fluffy brioche bun that is smaller than the burger. More meat, less bread is the way to go. Very tasty. Texas Toinon is their take on fried onion ring. It works. Lots of big onion strips in a light batter and a perfect sauce. Chicken tender salad is solid. Not spectacular but about what you would expect. Shrimp and lobster chowder was disappointing. They don't do reservations.. They just tell you they do when you call to make one, put you through to the manager and the manager will get all your information to secure the non reservation. when you arrive on time for your non reservation expect to be told they don't have your reservation and they will add you to the list to wait 30 minutes. Also expect to be dismissed and deal with rude hosts that tell you they don't do reservations and you'll have to wait 30-40 more minutes. They'll text you 2 hours later that your table is ready. We understand getting busy unexpected but the attitude was so unnecessary we were just asking a question about when we might be seated after waiting 40 minutes. read more

The flavor of the steak was good though. I am glad to see a restaurant that has a raspberry vinaigrette to offer for a salad dressing, that is a plus. My wife got a ribeye with the brussels sprouts and a salad. Her brussels sprouts were very good and flavorful. For a starter we got, I think it was called wild west shrimp which had peppers in a long boat plate filled with fried shrimp with ranch for a dipping sauce. It was quite good. Long Horn Steakhouse help me celebrate our 25 year anniversary. With dine in services unavailable we looked at a way to celebrate. It started with a drive to Marble Falls, to visit the "Blue Bonnet House (wife's idea), then a nice scenic drive back through FM1431(watch your speeds, lots of windy roads) then we phoned in an order. It seems like the curb side portions are larger. Our prime rib was about 3-4 inches thick. The portion size was more than adequate and we were able to split a dinner between the two of us. Fresh asparagus and a green salad. Everything was cooked perfectly. Now I must confess, I apologize, I'm new to the Yelp Elite group so I totally forget to document this meal with pictures. We've only bee man here once and food was pretty good. Service was awful. Luckily they had an active manager who was friendly or we'd probably would have left. Looks like bud light and shiner are currently on special and you can get a $2.50 draft. I waited for 10+ minutes before the manager brought it out. I had an 8oz sirloin that was pretty good.
