You could go here for an anniversary, a birthday or just for lunch. This tine around we had a reservation for a party of 20. They obliged our party request and sat us when half the party was present. I'm going to give Saltgrass Steak House a mild complaint, because honestly, the experience was more frustrating than it needed to be. I tried twice to get help on the phone and eventually got pushed over to a manager. I waited 10 minutes with no answer before hanging up. I called back and asked for the manager's name and was given THREE different names--yet somehow nobody could answer the phone within 10 minutes. The gentleman blamed it on the host and I told him no it was another guy that she sent me to the first time who couldn't help me either ‍All I was trying to do was claim my $25 birthday reward. Then the website wouldn't even send me the link to reset my password. So much for a birthday perk. And now the one thing I absolutely loved--the carrot cake--has gone from $8 to $12. At this point, that carrot cake better come with a personal apology from the manager. Unfortunately, between the customer service, the birthday reward hassle, the overly salty food and the price increase, I can't recommend Saltgrass right now. Well today is May 30, 2026 a Friday and I chose as my restaurant for my special meal none other than the great Saltgrass Steak House. I walked in sat at the Bar choosing to watch college baseball as I ate. My bartender was non other than Leland and he was constantly on the move making sure his customers were taken care of. He welcomed me and then gave me the menu. I chose grilled salmon with sweet potato fries and steamed broccoli. I was sipping a glass of water until the Entree arrived. When the plate with the salmon, sweet potato fries and broccoli arrived all looked beautifully cooked. I tasted the salmon and it was so good and throughout the meal each bite was a joy. The sweet potato fries were shoe string sweet potato fries and went wonderfully with the provided catsup. They as well were wonderfully cooked and tasted so good, The broccoli was blanched and were a bright green and I enjoyed every bite. At the last bite of the salmon (that was all that was left) that meal was so good and I was sad that it was done but I reflected, having been here twice and the meal was so good. I thought what the heck what do they have for dessert and it is "Two Fork", cheesecake and Strawberry Sauce. Next was the Homemade Chocolate Cake and Vanilla Ice Cream with Chocolate Syrup. They all looked so good but the moment I saw Carrot Cake that was it but I gotta tell ya the Chocolate Cake was a very close second. The Carrot Cake just arrived (picture taken), and it is so magnificent. The Carrot Cake looked so beautiful and tasted so wonderfully good. The icing so refreshingly good, the cake just melts in your mouth. Each bite is going to be heaven on a fork and it was so so good. Jay the second bartender said that the restaurant just added Key Lime Pie and I am sure that would be delicious. Well the meal is done and I have to tell everyone been here twice and Saltgrass Steak House hit it out of the park twice. I placed an order for delivery on Friday January 23rd around 5:30pman received an email that that got my order and was working on it. About 6:30pm delivery driver text and asked about my order as it was not there. I called and spoke to the manager and he told me that they do not have delivery services on Friday evening and I ask why this wasn't on the web page and if my account was going to be charged. He told me that my account would not be charged and it was and when I called back 3 days later to let him know my account was charged he told me had to look into this matter but he didn't have the time to deal with this matter at the time. What restaurant or server does that? Well, instant Kudos. The food was AMAZING! BUT THE BEST PART was when I got the bill. The dreaded bill. For me, being visually impaired, it's difficult to read the ticket. It's extremely embarrassing not being able to read the numbers. This server, literally took extra time to assist me, darken the lines on receipt and then helped read the total. This is the first time I have ever been able to keep my dignity. I started to cry. While I would not normally not give 1 star to a restaurant, it was the complete lack of care from multiple managers over an issue that led to this. I placed an online order for a 10 oz sirloin with a potato and salad for the side with a chips/queso for an appetizer. The time projected was 30 minutes, and I arrived and went inside after 15 minutes. After I gave the bar staff my name for a pickup, they directed me to a lady on the phone who walked off and did not come back. I stood for another 10 minutes until a wait staff asked if I had still not been helped and went to check on my order. He provided it would be about 9 more minutes. 20 minutes later, the women who had been on the phone finally came back and asked for my name. 5 minets later, a man who I assume was the kitchen manager based off dress attire, informed me my order had been stolen and it would be another 25-30 minutes to remake as they were busy. It looked like he notified the general manager as well, but that was about it. No attempt to even say we will rush it or any other expedited attempt. The general manager, all the while, walked by me standing in the same spot for just shy of an hour without an inquiry and then knowing my order of a single steak was near 1.5 hours. To top it off, they forgot the salad, so I had to turn around after leaving. As someone who managed a restaurant in the past, I completely understand that mistakes occur. I am not someone who expects or demands compensation when issues occur but to not even be offered something minor nor have several members of management act like it was not even an issue is the problem. The wait staff kept appologizing as they could easily tell I had numerous problems occurring, and yet management could care less. read more
